Talliston House

Helena Romanes School (also known/abbreviated as HRS) is a coeducational all-through school and sixth form. It is situated in Great Dunmow in the English county of Essex. On the premises, there is a sports and leisure centre that is shared with the local community. It is also occasionally utilised in Physical Education lessons

Great Dunmow is a historic market town and civil parish in the Uttlesford district of Essex, England. It lies to the north of the A120 road, approximately midway between Bishop's Stortford and Braintree, 5 mi (8 km) east of London Stansted Airport. Little Easton is a village and civil parish in Essex, England. The village is situated approximately 7 miles (11 km) east from the town of Bishop's Stortford, and 12 miles (19 km) north-west from the county town of Chelmsford. Little Easton parish is defined at the west by the River Roding, and the east by the River Chelmer. The village and civil parish of Great Easton lie one mile (1.6 km) to the north.

High Wood, Dunmow is a 41.5-hectare (103-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Great Dunmow in Essex. The local planning authority is Uttlesford District Council.The site on boulder clay and loess has areas of wet ash and maple woodland, and others of pedunculate oak and hornbeam. Some areas are ancient woodland. There is a diverse layer of ground flora, such as dog's mercury and primrose, while damp woodland rides provide additional habitat for birds and invertebrates.The site is private land with no public access.

Easton Lodge railway station was located to the west of Great Dunmow, Essex, near Easton Lodge. The station on the Bishop's Stortford to Braintree branch line (Engineer's Line Reference BSB). The station closed in 1952, with the line being used for freight until it was closed in 1972. It was described in the Railway Magazine: The Earl of Warwick has also the pleasure of possessing a railway station of his own. It is attached to his Essex residence of Easton Lodge, and bears the same name as the house. Of course, it is on the line owned by the Great Eastern Railway, and a short distance from Dunmow. It is perhaps as much used as any really "private" station, for the Warwick family spend much time every year at Easton, and keep constant company there. The station was built in 1895, significantly later than the rest of the line, and was funded by the Earl and Countess of Warwick at a cost of £140 plus £52 annually for 10 years for upkeep; they also allowed it to be used by the general public. It has now been demolished but the crossing keeper's cottage remains. The adjacent land is now a banana ripening depot.

Great Easton is a village and civil parish in the Uttlesford district in Essex, England.Great Easton village is about 2 miles (3.2 km) north of Great Dunmow, and the village of Little Easton is about 1 mile (1.6 km) to the south. Great Easton parish contains the hamlets of Gallows Green, Mill End Green and Duton Hill and shares a parish council with Tilty. The parish has a population of a few hundred people, measured at 1,035 in the 2011 census The village public house is The Swan, located close to the church. A further parish public house is The Green Man at Mill End Green. The parish church is dedicated to Saint John and Saint Giles.

Wellstye Green or Wells Tye Green is a hamlet located between the villages of High Easter and Barnston, in the Uttlesford district of Essex. It is the location of the Anglian Land Drainage Ltd (at Mawkinsherds Farm).
