As of 2019Christ Church is a Grade II listed parish church in the Church of England in the Summerfield district of Birmingham. Christ Church is a multi-generational, multi-ethnic church community right in the heart of North Edgbaston.

Icknield Port Road railway station was a railway station in England, built by the Harborne Railway and operated by the London and North Western Railway in 1874.It served the Summerfield area of Birmingham and, from 1897, was located near to the junction of Icknield Port Road and Gillott Road. Prior to that it had been between Icknield Port Road and Barford Rd, but the platform became too short when trains were lengthened.The station closed in 1931, and there is little evidence of the station on the ground today. The trackbed through the station is now part of the Harborne Nature Walk.

Winson Green railway station was a railway station in Birmingham, England, built by the London and North Western Railway on their Stour Valley Line in 1876. It served the Winson Green area of Birmingham. Showell's Dictionary of Birmingham, discussing railway accidents in the city, notes that: Mr. Pipkins, Stationmaster at Winson Green, was killed Jan. 2. 1877. but does not elaborate as to the circumstances.The station closed in 1957, although the Rugby–Birmingham–Stafford line loop from the West Coast Main Line still runs through the site of the station today. There is some evidence of the station on the ground today, as the two tracks running currently through the site of the station split at the location of an island platform. The station was not the only one to bear the name. Following the closure of Winson Green station, the nearby Soho and Winson Green station was renamed Winson Green in 1965. However it too was closed in 1972.

Rotton Park Road railway station was a railway station in England, built by the Harborne Railway and operated by the London and North Western Railway in 1874.It served Summerfield and part of the Edgbaston area of Birmingham and was located near to the junction of Rotton Park Road and Gillott Road. Initially single track, the steady growth in traffic meant that a passing loop was installed in 1903, when a spur to Mitchells & Butlers Brewery was also added. However, from the beginning of the 20th century, the introduction of road transport, especially Birmingham Corporation Tramways, caused passenger numbers to fall away.In 1923, the Harborne Railway, together with its operators the LNWR, became part of the London Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS) at the grouping. The station closed in 1934, and there is little evidence of the station on the ground today. The trackbed through the station is now part of the Harborne Nature Walk.

The Icknield Port Loop (originally the Rotton Park Loop) is a 0.6-mile (1 km) loop of the eighteenth-century-built Old BCN Main Line canal in Birmingham, England, about 2 miles (3 km) west of the city centre, which opened to traffic on 6 November 1769 and in some definitions includes its straighter bypass built in September 1827, a 550-yard (500 m) section of the New BCN Main Line. Most of the 56 acres (23 ha) of land thereby enclosed is derelict meaning the canal serves the Canal & River Trust (British Waterways) maintenance depot at Icknield Port and conveys water from Edgbaston Reservoir to the BCN Main Line. The enclosed land has no pedestrian or vehicular access. Icknield Port (Loop) takes its name from the Roman Icknield Street which passed nearby, the exact route of which is unknown. The Canal & River Trust (formerly British Waterways) depot with its buildings and crane are Grade II listed buildings.
