Swan, Indiana

LaOtto (sometimes also spelled as Laotto) is a small unincorporated community in Swan Township, Noble County, Indiana, in the U.S. state of Indiana. Located west of the current intersection of Indiana State Road 3 and Indiana State Road 205, it is 16 miles north of Fort Wayne and is also in proximity to Kendallville and Auburn. It is therefore considered a bedroom community to these cities.

Swan Township is one of thirteen townships in Noble County, Indiana. As of the 2010 census, its population was 2,399 and it contained 965 housing units.

Edward Kelham House is a historic home located near Garrett in Keyser Township, DeKalb County, Indiana. It was built in 1870, and is a two-story, Italianate-style frame dwelling with Greek Revival detailing. It has one-story, hip roofed, Colonial Revival style front porch supported by Tuscan order columns. It has unfluted corner pilasters and a plain wide frieze.: Part 1, p. 16  It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Jackson Township is one of fifteen townships in DeKalb County, Indiana. As of the 2010 census, its population was 3,064 and it contained 1,155 housing units.

Orin Clark House is a historic home located near Garrett in Keyser Township, DeKalb County, Indiana. It was built in 1870, and is a two-story, Italianate-style frame dwelling with Greek Revival detailing. It has a hip roofed main block and one-story rear wing with a gable roof. It has Doric order unfluted corner pilasters and a plain wide frieze.: Part 1, p. 15  It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Avilla is a town in Allen Township, Noble County, in the U.S. state of Indiana. The population was 2,401 at the 2010 census.

Gump House is a historic home located near Garrett in Keyser Township, DeKalb County, Indiana. It was built about 1854, and is a two-story, five-bay, Greek Revival-style frame dwelling. It has Doric order corner pilasters and a wide frieze.: Part 1, p. 13  It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church is a Roman Catholic parish in Avilla, Indiana. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend. Its current parish church was dedicated in 1878. The parish supports its own parochial school and a small convent for its Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart. St. Mary's was also the site of the first motherhouse in America for the Franciscan sisters.

WGBJ (102.3 FM) is a commercial radio station licensed to Auburn, Indiana, and serving the Fort Wayne metropolitan area. It is owned by Sarkes Tarzian and it broadcasts an alternative rock radio format, known as "Alt 99.5 & 102.3". The studios and offices are on West Berry Street in Fort Wayne. WGBJ has an effective radiated power of 6,000 watts. The transmitter is on Quincy Street in Altona, Indiana, about 30 miles north of Fort Wayne. Programming is also heard on 115-watt FM translator W258BY at 99.5 MHz in Fort Wayne. The translator helps listeners in Fort Wayne who might have trouble receiving the 102.3 signal.
