It was built in 1870, and is a two-story, Italianate-style frame dwelling with Greek Revival detailing. It has one-story, hip roofed, Colonial Revival style front porch supported by Tuscan order columns. It has unfluted corner pilasters and a plain wide frieze.: Part 1, p. 16  It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Orin Clark House is a historic home located near Garrett in Keyser Township, DeKalb County, Indiana. It was built in 1870, and is a two-story, Italianate-style frame dwelling with Greek Revival detailing. It has a hip roofed main block and one-story rear wing with a gable roof. It has Doric order unfluted corner pilasters and a plain wide frieze.: Part 1, p. 15  It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

WGBJ has an effective radiated power of 6,000 watts. The transmitter is on Quincy Street in Altona, Indiana, about 30 miles north of Fort Wayne. Programming is also heard on 115-watt FM translator W258BY at 99.5 MHz in Fort Wayne. The translator helps listeners in Fort Wayne who might have trouble receiving the 102.3 signal.

Brethren in Christ Church is a historic Brethren church located near Garrett in Keyser Township, DeKalb County, Indiana. It was built in 1882 and is a Gothic Revival-style brick building. It consists of a one-and-a-half-story nave with a two-story central bell tower. The tower features an oculus window and bell-cast hipped roof.: Part 1, p. 26  It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It is currently owned and operated by the Brethren in Christ Church.

St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church is a Roman Catholic parish in Avilla, Indiana. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend. Its current parish church was dedicated in 1878. The parish supports its own parochial school and a small convent for its Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart. St. Mary's was also the site of the first motherhouse in America for the Franciscan sisters.

Garrett Community Mausoleum is a historic mausoleum located in Calvary Cemetery at Garrett, DeKalb County, Indiana. It was built in 1922, and is a one-story, cubic granite structure with simple Classical Revival style detail. It measures 30 feet wide and 42 feet deep. The mausoleum was largely used for interments into the 1950s, with the most recent in 1999.: 3  It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.
