Tri It (stylized as TRI IT and also known as the TriMet Mural) is an outdoor 2015 mural by Blaine Fontana, painted outside the TriMet Bus Maintenance Facility in Portland, Oregon, in the United States.

Southeast 17th Avenue and Holgate Boulevard is a MAX Orange Line station located in the median of Southeast 17th Avenue at Holgate Boulevard in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Portland, Oregon.

La Carreta Mexican Restaurant is a Mexican restaurant in Portland, Oregon. The menu offers traditional cuisine including burritos, chile rellenos, chimichangas, enchiladas, fajitas, flautas, quesadilla, taquitos, and tostadas. Established in 1990, La Carreta has a banquet hall upstairs and has hosted a variety of events. The restaurant's colorful interior features hanging plants, murals, flags, tiled tables, and stucco walls. The restaurant has received a generally positive reception, especially for its margaritas and other drink options.

The Brooklyn Intermodal Rail Yard is a 110-acre Union Pacific rail yard in southeast Portland, Oregon, stretching from Powell Boulevard to Bybee Boulevard and operating since the 1860s. Activities of the yard have been limited by adjacent neighborhoods.The Oregon Rail Heritage Center has a turntable from the rail yard.

Brooklyn is a mostly residential neighborhood in southeast Portland, Oregon. It sits along the east side of the Willamette River in the vicinity of Reed College. Founded as a neighborhood in the late 1860s, the neighborhood today is a middle-class area comprising mainly single family homes, interspersed with remaining industrial sites along the river and a large railyard. This railyard was home to Southern Pacific 4449 as well as several other large antique steam and diesel-electric locomotives.

The Rhine–Lafayette Pedestrian Overpass is a pedestrian bridge near TriMet's Southeast 17th Avenue and Rhine Street station in southeast Portland, Oregon. It opened in September 2015, replacing a bridge which had spanned the Union Pacific Railroad tracks since 1943. Worked on the bridge began in 2014, and the span was lifted into place in December. Elevator improvements were completed in 2018. Along These Lines is installed at one end.

Bullseye Glass is a glass manufacturer in Brooklyn, Portland, Oregon, in the United States. The company is a significant supplier of raw art glass for fused glass makers.According to Art Glass Magazine, production controls at Bullseye's U.S. plant is more consistent than imported products, allowing it to fuse reliably.

Along These Lines is an outdoor 2015 stainless steel sculpture and paving medallion by Anne Storrs, installed at the Rhine–Lafayette Pedestrian Overpass landings at the MAX Orange Line's Southeast 17th Avenue and Rhine Street station in southeast Portland, Oregon's Brooklyn neighborhood, in the United States. According to TriMet, the pieces were inspired by the "similarity of trees and root systems to the branching pattern of train tracks". The stainless steel rings that circle both pieces display poetry by Cleveland High School student Monica Arnone and Paulann Petersen, Oregon Poet Laureate Emerita.

Portland Cà Phê (Vietnamese: "Portland Coffee") is a coffee shop in Portland, Oregon. The business specializes in Vietnamese coffee drinks, including robusta coffee and Vietnamese iced coffee, and also serves bánh mì and pastries. Kimberly Dam opened Portland Cà Phê in April 2021, previously roasting robusta coffee beans as a hobby starting in 2020.

Powell Park is a 8.09-acre (3.27 ha) public park in southeast Portland, Oregon's Brooklyn neighborhood, in the United States. The space was acquired in 1921.

The Portland metropolitan area is a metro area in the U.S. states of Oregon and Washington centered on the principal city of Portland, Oregon. The U.S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) identifies it as the Portland–Vancouver–Hillsboro, OR–WA Metropolitan Statistical Area, a metropolitan statistical area used by the United States Census Bureau (USCB) and other entities. The OMB defines the area as comprising Clackamas, Columbia, Multnomah, Washington, and Yamhill Counties in Oregon, and Clark and Skamania Counties in Washington. The area's population is estimated at 2,753,168 in 2017. The Oregon portion of the metropolitan area is the state's largest urban center, while the Washington portion of the metropolitan area is the state's third largest urban center after Seattle (the Seattle Urban Area includes Tacoma and Everett). Portions of this area (Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington Counties) are under the jurisdiction of Metro, a directly elected regional government which, among other things, is responsible for land-use planning in the region.
