Gillman Barracks

Since 2001, Singapore Raffles Music College (Abbreviation: SRMC; Chinese: 新加坡莱佛士音乐学院; pinyin: Xīnjiāpō Láifoshi Yīnyuè Xuéyuan) has been one of Singapore’s leading schools for higher learning in music and dance, registered with the Committee for Private Education (CPE). The College was recently awarded the EduTrust 4-Year award in 2021, certifying that SRMC has reached high standards in key areas of management and provision of educational services. It enrolled its first students in 2006. The college's campus is located in at 456 Alexandra Road. It offers a range of Certificate to Masters courses in Music Performance, Music Production, Music Studies and Dance. Since 2010, SRMC has partnered the University of West London to offer various Music and Dance degree programmes.

The Interlace is a 1,040-unit apartment building complex located at the boundary between Bukit Merah and Queenstown, Singapore. The Southern Ridges comprise 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) of trails connecting three parks along the southern ridge of Singapore. Some of the attractions along these trails include its greenery and the connecting bridges. This project linked up the parks between the Kent Ridge Park and HarbourFront. The idea to link these parks was coined in 2002 by Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) and it took 2 years to complete and cost S$25.5 million.

Labrador Park MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the Circle line, located within Bukit Merah planning area, Singapore. Built underneath Telok Blangah Road near the junctions of Alexandra Road and Labrador Villa Road, this station was named after the nearby Labrador Nature Reserve. It is the nearest MRT station to the PSA Building and Gillman Barracks, the latter of which is now home to numerous art galleries.

Telok Blangah Hill Park is a park situated at Telok Blangah Green, off Henderson Road, in Bukit Merah. It connects Mount Faber Park via Henderson Waves Bridge (274m, 899ft). Standing at 36m (118ft) above Henderson Road, it is the tallest pedestrian bridge in Singapore. Depot Road Zhen Shan Mei Claypot Laksa is a street food stall in the Alexandra Village Food Centre in Alexandra Village, Singapore. The food stall was awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2016.

The British Military Hospital, Singapore (now Alexandra Hospital) was the primary military hospital for the British Far East Command and site of a massacre in February 1942 by the Japanese troops during the Fall of Singapore.Established in 1938 and officially opened in July 1940, the facility was located four miles west of Singapore at 378 Alexandra Road, and known as Alexandra Hospital for the nearby park of the same name. After years of planning, the 356-bed hospital opened with some of the best medical facilities in Asia, including then-groundbreaking X-ray equipment. Six years after Singapore's 1965 independence, with the British military withdrawing from the country, the hospital was handed over to the Singaporean Ministry of Health on 11 September 1971 and officially reopened four days later as Alexandra Road General Hospital. At its the height, the hospital adopted cutting-edge medical technology and in 1975 was the first in South East Asia to successfully reattach a patient's limb.Today, Alexandra Hospital is part of the National University of Singapore Medical School.

Queensway Shopping Centre is a shopping centre located in Queenstown, Singapore. The mall is one of Singapore's first multi-purpose shopping complexes and comprises 4 levels with a 1-storey basement car park. The mall is also a mixed development which includes a 13-storey apartment tower. Established in 1976, it is one of the oldest malls in Singapore.

TANGS is a department store located on Orchard Road in Singapore, owned by C.K. Tang Limited. The store is regarded as a principal shopping destination in the city, comparable to Bloomingdale's in New York City and Selfridges in London. The company was founded by Tang Choon Keng in 1932.
