Southern Ridges

Telok Blangah Hill Park is a park situated at Telok Blangah Green, off Henderson Road, in Bukit Merah. It connects Mount Faber Park via Henderson Waves Bridge (274m, 899ft). Standing at 36m (118ft) above Henderson Road, it is the tallest pedestrian bridge in Singapore. Henderson Waves is renowned for its artistic, distinctive wave-like structure consisting of a series of undulating curved 'ribs'.Telok Blangah Hill Park is also part of the Southern Ridges, which also comprises Mount Faber Park, HortPark, Kent Ridge Park and Labrador Nature Reserve.

Gillman Barracks is a contemporary arts cluster in Singapore that is home to international art galleries, restaurants and the NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore, which are all housed in conserved colonial barracks. Gillman Barracks lies near to Alexandra Road, and the 6.4-hectare (16-acre) site covers Lock Road and Malan Road amid greenery. Gillman Barracks is jointly developed by the Singapore Economic Development Board, JTC Corporation and the National Arts Council.

The Interlace is a 1,040-unit apartment building complex located at the boundary between Bukit Merah and Queenstown, Singapore. Noteworthy for its break from the typical tower design in cities with high population densities, it resembles Jenga blocks irregularly stacked upon each other. Designed by The Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA), it was awarded the World Building of the Year title at the 2015 World Architecture Festival.The 170,000 square meters Interlace complex sits on 8 hectares of land, at the corner of Depot Road and Alexandra Road. It has 31 residential blocks with units ranging in size from 800 square feet to 6,300 square feet for the penthouses at the top of each blocks. Recreational facilities include swimming pools, a gym, and tennis courts.

Alkaff Mansion is an early 20th-century colonial bungalow located within the Telok Blangah Hill Park in Singapore. The hill was originally called Mt Washington, and was part of a sprawling land estate owned by a wealthy Arab Syed Shaikh bin Abdul Rahman Alkaff. Around 1918, Syed Shaikh Alkaff built the bungalow as his primary residence which he abandoned after World War II. The property was later acquired by the government. Alkaff Mansion was subsequently tendered and awarded to food and beverage company LES, which occupied it from 2011 to 2016. In 2018, the tender for Alkaff Mansion was awarded to Jardin Enchante Pte Ltd by the Singapore Land Authority. "The Alkaff Mansion" under the 1-Group collective of lifestyle F&B concepts, now houses three dining concepts: Wildseed Café, TXA Gastrobar and UNA (a refined Spanish restaurant previously at One Rochester). The Alkaff Mansion began operations and was open to the public between April – May 2019.

Vue Privée [vp], is an art gallery space located in Singapore as well as an E-commerce website. It pays particular attention and focus on limited edition artworks, merchandise, events and a lifestyle that is inspired by photography. Vue Privée offers limited edition prints in three distinct series that cater to different interests of collectors. Sri Ruthra Kaliamman Temple (Tamil: ஸ்ரீ ருத்ர காளியம்மன் கோவில்) is a temple for the goddess Kali who is the presiding deity, along Depot Road, in Bukit Merah, Singapore. The other deities of the temple include Sri Vinayagar, Sri Subramaniar, Sri Muneeswaran, Navagrahas, Sri Kaleeswarar, Sri Mangalambigai, Sri Dhakshinamoorthy, Sri Sandigeswarar and Sri Nandeeswarar.

Depot Road Zhen Shan Mei Claypot Laksa is a street food stall in the Alexandra Village Food Centre in Alexandra Village, Singapore. The food stall was awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2016.

Labrador Park MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the Circle line, located within Bukit Merah planning area, Singapore. Built underneath Telok Blangah Road near the junctions of Alexandra Road and Labrador Villa Road, this station was named after the nearby Labrador Nature Reserve. It is the nearest MRT station to the PSA Building and Gillman Barracks, the latter of which is now home to numerous art galleries.

mTower, formerly known as PSA Building, is an integrated development in Singapore, comprising a 40-storey office building and a 3-storey retail centre, Alexandra Retail Centre. It is located at Alexandra Road, Singapore. The building also houses Singapore's Ministry of Transport and the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore.

Henderson Waves is a pedestrian bridge crossing Henderson Road in the Southern Ridges in Singapore. The bridge is one of two pedestrian bridges part of the walking trail connecting the Southern Ridges with Mount Faber along with Alexandra Arch, and is the highest pedestrian bridge in Singapore. The sun-shading, curved, wooden ribs are illuminated at night.
