Eenigenburg

Stroet is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Schagen, and lies about 11 km north of Heerhugowaard. The village was first mentioned in 1343 as Stroeden, and means "soggy area with shrubbery". Stroet used to have a wind mill, but it was demolished in the early 20th century.

Sint Maarten (West Frisian: Simmer) is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Schagen, and lies about 15 km north of Alkmaar. The village was first mentioned in 1289 as Niwelant. The current name is a reference to Martin of Tours. Sint Maarten developed in the 13th century along the West-Frisian sea dike. A church was built in 1462, but was destroyed in 1799. In 1875, a new church was built and demolished in 1960.Sint Maarten was home to 246 people in 1840. It was a separate municipality until 1990, when it was merged with Harenkarspel. Harenkarspel merged with Schagen in 2013.

Tuitjenhorn was the main village of the former Harenkarspel municipality. Tuitjenhorn lies about 9 km northwest of Heerhugowaard. The village was first mentioned between 1280 and 1287 as "van tutinghehorne". The etymology is unclear. Tuitjenhorn is a dike village. The Catholic St Jacobus de Meerdere Church is a basilica-like church built between 1857 and 1859 and has been built around a tower from 1810.

Harenkarspel (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɦaːrə(n)ˌkɑspəl] (listen)) is a former municipality in the Netherlands, in the province of North Holland and the region of West-Frisia. The main town of Harenkarspel was Tuitjenhorn. In 2013, Harenkarspel merged with Schagen and Zijpe into a new municipality, which is called Schagen.

Warmenhuizen (West Frisian: Wermehúze) is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Schagen, and lies about 8 km northwest of Heerhugowaard. An agricultural community. The area surrounding the town produces mainly dairy products, cabbage/potatoes, and hot house flowers. Mainly a Roman Catholic community featuring two churches, an old Protestant one, fallen into disuse, built in 16th century and a more modern Roman Catholic church constructed in the early 20th century. Warmenhuizen was a separate municipality until 1990, when it was merged with Harenkarspel. Harenkarspel merged with Schagen in 2013.

Burgerbrug is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Schagen, and lies about 14 km north of Alkmaar. The village was first mentioned in 1840 as "Burgerbrug of Eenigenburgerbrug", and is named after the bridge over the Groote Slot. Burgerbrug was settled soon after the polder was created in 1597. It is a cross shaped settlement with one part along the Groote Sloot and the other part along the road.The Catholic Birth of Out Lady Church is an aisleless church built in 1866 as a replacement of the clandestine church. Burgerbrug was home to 185 people in 1840. Three polder mills are still present in Burgerbrug. Two of the windmills probably date from 1597.

It is considered part of Tuitjenhorn, and consists of about 105 houses and 70 holiday homes.

Schoorldam (West Frisian: Skorledam) is a hamlet in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is partially in the municipality of Bergen, and partially in the municipality of Schagen.The hamlet was first mentioned in 1569 as Schoorldam, and means "dam (in the Rekere river) near Schoorl".
