Croft Moraig Stone Circle

The Harpswell Cattle Pound is a stone enclosure in Harpswell, Maine, United States. It was used to hold stray animals until they could be reunited with their owners. It was kept locked until the owner paid for the animal's release and it was determined that the animal had not caused any damage to local farmland. It was built in 1793, and its remains are still visible as of 2023. Located on Harpswell Neck Road, the pound was one of the first built in New England.A bronze plaque, donated by the Brunswick Rotary Club, was added to the site in 2023.

Comrie Castle is a ruined castle about 15 miles north (as the crow flies, rather over 30 by road) of Comrie, Perth and Kinross, Scotland. The castle is located on the River Lyon. The castle was originally the seat of the Menzies family. Partially destroyed by fire in 1487, the seat of the Menzies family moved to Weem Castle. Rebuilt in the sixteenth century, as a L-plan tower house, the castle was last occupied in 1748 and became ruinous. It is now protected as a scheduled monument.

Looked after by a private preservation trust, the Castle and grounds are open to visitors in summer (entrance charge).The Old Parish Church of Weem, of medieval origin, contains the funerary monuments of the Menzies family from the 16th century, and the heraldic hatchments carried at their funerals. Glen Quaich is a glen in Perth and Kinross and is situated almost midway between Crieff and Aberfeldy. The upper reaches of the glen approach Loch Tay to the west whilst to the south-east, the lower part of the glen contains Loch Freuchie. The glen then continues eastward before opening out onto Strathbraan and the village of Amulree. The glen takes its name from its bowl-like similarity to a quaich, Scottish Gaelic cuach, meaning cup or bowl.
