Camp Chase

The Confederate Soldier Memorial, also known as Confederate Monument and Memorial Arch, is an outdoor Confederate memorial installed at Camp Chase in the Hilltop neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio, in the United States.

West High School is a public high school located on the west side of Columbus, Ohio, in the Westgate neighborhood in the Hilltop area. It is a part of Columbus City Schools.

Bishop Ready High School () is a Catholic high school located in Columbus, Ohio. It is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Columbus. The original building opened in 1961 and consisted of two floors of 22 classrooms and an Art and Shop Wing with three classrooms. In 1999 a science wing consisting of three rooms was opened and in 2004 a band room, weight room, trainer's office, and wrestling room were added. The original building covers a total area of 95,695 sq. ft. and cost $1,237,000 total to construct.

Hilltop is one of the largest neighborhoods in Columbus, Ohio, located west of Franklinton and Downtown. The Greater Hilltop area contains newer and historic neighborhoods, schools, various stores, industrial areas, and recreational facilities. The development pattern is considered a distinct suburb. The majority of the area is predominantly single family residential.

West Columbus, sometimes referred to as westside or the West Side, is a neighborhood in Columbus, Ohio, United States. Unlike other Columbus neighborhoods, it is a broad geographical term used by locals rather than a subdivision or suburb. West Columbus is defined as the entire southwest side of Columbus, bordered on the north by interstates 70 and 670, within Interstate 71 on the east, and on the south and west by the city limits that reach several miles to the outside of the I-270 outerbelt. It covers the ZIP Codes 43223, 43204, 43228, and 43222.

Briggs High School is a four-year high school (grades 9–12) located on the southwest side of Columbus, Ohio. It is a part of Columbus City Schools. The building was built in 1974. Briggs' mascot and sports teams are known as the Bruins, and the school colors are purple and gold.

Franklin Heights High School is a high school in Columbus, Ohio. It is 1 of 5 high schools in the South-Western City Schools district. The mascot is the Golden Falcon. Franklin Heights derives many students from the neighborhood Riverbend, Columbus, Ohio. It has many boys and girls athletic teams, a marching band, drama club, and an NJROTC unit.

Valleyview is a village in Franklin County, Ohio, United States. The population was 669 at the 2020 census.

Holly Hill is a neighborhood located in West Columbus, Columbus, Ohio, United States. Holly Hill is a traditional 1960s suburban neighborhood consisting of mostly brick ranch houses and some bi-level houses. The houses range in size from approximately 860 square feet (80 m2) up to 1,500 square feet (140 m2). Holly Hill is located next to Georgian Heights.

Briggsdale is a neighborhood of Franklin County in the city of Columbus, Ohio. The neighborhood is on the west/southwest side of the city within the Hilltop area. The area was first settled and founded by the family of Joseph M. Briggs, after whom the neighborhood was named. Joseph Briggs was an active figure in the early years of the township and county operations. The Briggsdale Methodist church was founded with his help, and it now exists as the New Horizons Methodist Church. The present day Briggsdale neighborhood is located near the historical Green Lawn Cemetery to the north as well as Briggs High School to the west.

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT; ) is the administrative department of the Ohio state government responsible for developing and maintaining all state and U.S. roadways outside of municipalities and all Interstates except the Ohio Turnpike. In addition to highways, the department also helps develop public transportation and public aviation programs. ODOT is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. Formerly, under the direction of Michael Massa, ODOT initiated a series of interstate-based Travel Information Centers, which were later transferred to local sectors. The Director of Transportation is part of the Governor's Cabinet.ODOT has divided the state into 12 regional districts to facilitate development. Each district is responsible for the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of the state and federal highways in its region. The department employs over 6,000 people and has an annual budget approaching $3 billion. It celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2005 and its 35th as the Ohio Department of Transportation in 2007.

The Columbus Developmental Center (CDC) is a state-supported residential school for people with developmental disabilities, located in the Hilltop neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio. The school, founded in 1857, was the third of these programs developed by a U.S. state, after Massachusetts in 1848 and New York in 1851.Names for the school included: the Ohio Asylum for the Education of Idiotic and Imbecile Youth (from 1857 to 1878), the Ohio Institution for the Education of Idiotic and Imbecile Youth (1878–1881), the Ohio Institution for Feeble-Minded Youth (1881–1945), the Columbus State School (1945–1970), the Columbus State Institute (1970–1980), and the Columbus Developmental Center (1980–present).
