Royal Ear Hospital

West Central Liberal Synagogue was a Liberal Jewish community in Bloomsbury in the London Borough of Camden. The congregation was founded by Lily Montagu in 1928 (although it could trace its roots to services she held in the 1890s) and it had held services at The Montagu Centre since 1954.The synagogue's last Rabbi, until its closure in 2022, was Jackie Tabick.

UCH Macmillan Cancer Centre is a research-led day hospital in Huntley Street in central London. It is the oncology (cancer treatment) wing of University College Hospital, part of the University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

James Shoolbred and Company was a draper and later a department store, located on Tottenham Court Road, London. James Shoolbred and Co. (aka Jas Shoolbred) were established in the 1820s at 155 Tottenham Court Road. It was originally a drapers supplying the furniture trade. In the late 1860s/early 1870s the company began designing, manufacturing and selling high quality furniture, of their own design. Their sophisticated designs referenced Regency aesthetics which were informed by antiquity - Greek/Roman styles. The company's sales catalogue features guides to Victorian home owners about how to put room sets together to achieve a desirable aesthetic, 'a guide to good taste'. In the 1880s, Shoolbred had opened the city's first large department store on Tottenham Court Road, London. In the mid 1880s Schoolbred was granted a Royal Warrant, testament to the quality of their furniture. The company ceased trading in 1931.

Maria Grey Training College was a training college in London, England, for teachers from 1878 to 1976. When it opened, it was the first teacher training college for women in Great Britain. It was named for Maria Georgina Grey, a promoter of women's education and a founder of the organisation that became the Girls' Day School Trust.

Chrome Zone was a chain of retail stores owned by Google. In its years of operation, only two branches were ever opened, one inside the PC World located on Tottenham Court Road in, London, England, opened in late September 2011, and another based in Essex, England which opened on October 7 of the same year. Chrome Zone sold Chromebooks that ran the ChromeOS and accessories. In a statement released by the Google UK Head of Consumer Marketing Arvind Desikan in 2011, it was revealed that the London and Essex stores were only the first installments of "mini-shops" to be spread out internationally in the coming years. However, no further Chrome Zone locations were opened besides the two in England, and all Chrome Zone stores were eventually shut down.

Maple & Co. was a British furniture and upholstery manufacturer established in 1841 which found particular success during the Victorian and Edwardian eras. The company became one of the prime makers and suppliers of furniture to the aristocracy and royalty in both the United Kingdom and around the world.For the duration of their trading, the company resided in Tottenham Court Road in London but had trading locations as far as Paris, Buenos Aires, Montevideo and Smyrna.

The Indian Students' Union and Hostel is a YMCA hostel in Fitzroy Square, Fitzrovia, London. It was founded in 1920 by the Indian National Council of YMCAs to provide housing and social facilities for Indian students in London. Key individuals who assisted were Edwin Bevan, Emily Kinnaird and K. T. Paul, and Laurence Binyon gave the inaugural address.Ralph Tubbs designed the current building in the early 1950s. iThe building has been listed Grade II on the National Heritage List for England since March 1996.

Fitzrovia () is a district of central London, England, near the West End. The eastern part of area is in the London Borough of Camden, and the western in the City of Westminster. It has its roots in the Manor of Tottenham Court, and was urbanised in the 18th century. Its name was coined in the late 1930s by Tom Driberg.It is characterised by its mixed-use of residential, business, retail, education and healthcare, with no single activity dominating. The once bohemian area was home to writers such as Virginia Woolf, George Bernard Shaw and Arthur Rimbaud. In 2016, The Sunday Times named it the best place to live in London.

The Grafton Hotel at 130 Tottenham Court Road, Fitzrovia, London, is part of the Edwardian Hotels, and in a partnership with Radisson Hotels, is branded as the Radisson Blu Edwardian Grafton. The hotel was built in the Edwardian era, and has 330 rooms. The building was designed by the architect William Howard Seth-Smith FRIBA and at opening it was furnished by Maple and Co.Shortly before opening the hotel was advertised as being run on "popular lines".During World War II, the hotel was used as the temporary headquarters for the Ministry of Food.From October 1939 to April 1940, Albert Meems, "one of very few German agents who successfully moved in and out of the UK during the Second World War without being detected", made four visits to London, and always stayed at the Grafton Hotel.

The BT Tower is a grade II listed communications tower located in Fitzrovia, London, owned by BT Group. It was also known as the GPO Tower and the Post Office Tower. It was later officially renamed the Telecom Tower. The main structure is 581 feet (177 m) high, with a further section of aerial rigging bringing the total height to 620 feet (189 m).Upon completion in 1964, it overtook the Millbank Tower to become the tallest structure in London until 1980, when it in turn was overtaken by the NatWest Tower. It was opened in 1965 by Prime Minister Harold Wilson who viewed it as a monument of a Britain shimmering in the "white heat of technology". A 360° coloured LED screen is located near the top of the tower—making it a conspicuous presence on the London skyline—which displays news events to the public across central London every day, including breaking news.

Chitty Street is a street in the London Borough of Camden that runs between Charlotte Street and Whitfield Street. Charlotte Mews adjoins Chitty Street on its south side. Chitty Street was originally known as North Street and marked the southern border of the Bedford Estate on the western side of Tottenham Court Road. Leases on the plots on the north side of the street were granted to builder William Gowing in 1776. All the original buildings of Chitty Street have been replaced with modern buildings.

Whitfield Street is a street in the London Borough of Camden that runs from Warren Street in the north to Windmill Street in the south. The street is crossed by Grafton Way, Maple Street, Howland Street, Wayland Street, and Goodge Street. Whitfield Place starts and ends in Whitfield Street on its eastern side. Hertford Place, Chitty Street and Scala Street all join Whitfield Street on its western side. The street was named after George Whitefield who founded a chapel in nearby Tottenham Court Road.
