The Payatas dumpsite, also known as the Payatas Controlled Disposal Facility (PCDF), is a former garbage dump in the barangay of the same name in Quezon City, Metro Manila, the Philippines. Originally established in the 1970s, the former open dumpsite was home to scavengers who migrated to the area after the closure of the Smokey Mountain landfill in Tondo, Manila. After the Payatas landslide happened in 2000, the newly-passed Ecological Solid Waste Management Act mandated the closure of open and controlled dumpsites. The dumpsite was reorganized into a controlled disposal facility in 2004 and was permanently closed in 2017.The former dumpsite is currently being redeveloped into an urban park for cycling activites.

Mater Carmeli School - Novaliches, located at Sacred Heart Village, Novaliches, Quezon City, is a private Catholic educational institution owned and managed by the Carmelite Missionaries. It was founded in 1986 on a property adjacent to the Novitiate House of the Carmelite Missionaries in Quezon City. Its Latin name, which means Mother of Carmel, comes from the name of a coastal mountain range in northern Israel where a group of hermits established themselves towards the end of the 12th century AD and called themselves Brothers of Saint Mary on Mt. Amparo High School (AHS) is a public secondary school located in Caloocan, Philippines. The school operates under the Division of City Schools, Caloocan, DepEd NCR. Amparo was established in 1979. An annex was constructed in 2005.

Rodriguez, officially the Municipality of Rodriguez (Tagalog: Bayan ng Rodriguez), formerly known (and still commonly called) as Montalban, is a 1st class municipality in the province of Rizal, Philippines. Pending an affirmation through plebiscite, Republic Act No. 11812 repealed Batas Pambansa Blg. 275 and intend to revert to its original municipal name, Montalban. The town is located on the slopes of the Sierra Madre mountain range and it is the largest town in Rizal province with an area of 312.70 square kilometers (120.73 square miles). It is also the location of the Montalban Gorge that is associated with the Legend of Bernardo Carpio. The gorge forms part of a protected area known as the Pamitinan Protected Landscape. The municipality borders San Mateo and Antipolo, Rizal on the south, Norzagaray and San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan on the north, Quezon City and Caloocan on the west and General Nakar, Quezon on the east. It is one of the richest municipalities in the Philippines, ranking third in 2016 with an income of ₱691 million.

Payatas is an administrative division in eastern Metro Manila, the Philippines. It is an urban barangay located in the 2nd district of Quezon City adjacent to the barangays of Commonwealth, Batasan Hills and Bagong Silangan.

Bagong Silangan is a barangay located in the 2nd district of Quezon City, Philippines. Nearby barangays are Commonwealth, Batasan Hills and Payatas. Separated by a river in the east, the barangay leads to the Municipality of San Mateo in the province of Rizal.

School of Saint Anthony, Quezon City (also called SSA or simply Saint Anthony ), was founded in 1982 as Saint Anthony Learning Center by spouses Enrique F. Coralejo and Victoria A. Coralejo. Its patron saint is St. Anthony Mary Claret, who founded the Congregation of Missionary Sons of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The school was founded as Novaliches High School in 1974 by the local homeowners association, and inaugurated as Lagro High School in 1978. Current enrollment is about six thousand students.

Its reservoir can hold up to 50.5 million cubic meters (1,780 million cubic feet), occupying an area of 27 square kilometers (10 sq mi). It is part of the Angat-Ipo-La Mesa water system, which supplies most of the water supply of Metro Manila.

The Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital (DJNRMH), formerly known as Central Luzon Sanitarium, was established in 1940, to accommodate patients with Hansen's Disease in the entire Luzon region in the Philippines. It is currently situated within the district of Tala, in Caloocan, Metro Manila, and occupies 130 hectares (320 acres) of land area, from the original 808 hectares (2,000 acres). The reduction of land area was to accommodate previous homeless treated patients who eventually settled and established their own community, called Tala. In 1970, the hospital began treating general medical cases (non-Hansen disease patients) when there was a high success rate of treatment of the first Hansen patients from research and the advancement of procedures done within the current medical practice. Due to the significant drop of Hansen patients the hospital then considered admission of general cases. The hospital currently serves as the principal referral hospital for leprosy patients and the premier training and research center for leprosy care and management in the Philippines. It also serves the public health needs of community members of Tala and nearby areas.
