Sweet Home is a census-designated place (CDP) in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. Its population was 849 at the 2010 census. It is part of the 'Little Rock-North Little Rock-AR Metropolitan Statistical Area'.

'Mills University Studies High School’, in Little Rock, Arkansas, serving students in grades 9 through 12 and is one of six high schools within the Pulaski County Special School District. The school opened on August 25, 1969, and is named after the late Congressman Wilbur Daigh Mills. While drawing students from around its home area, Mills also contains a hybrid Gifted & Talented magnet school focusing on college preparation through Advanced Placement courses. Its attendance area includes the city of Wrightsville, sections of Little Rock, a portion of Shannon Hills, and the census-designated places of Sweet Home, College Station, Landmark, Hensley, Scott, Woodson, as well as a portion of McAlmont CDP, and the unincorporated community of Ironton.

Pulaski County Special School District No. 1 (PCSSD) is one of four public school districts in Pulaski County, Arkansas—along with the Little Rock School District, the North Little Rock School District, and the Jacksonville North Pulaski School District—accredited by the Arkansas Department of Education. PCSSD has its headquarters in Sweet Home, an unincorporated area near southeastern Little Rock; the headquarters has a Little Rock postal address.The current Pulaski County Special School District was established on July 21, 1927, by referendum pursuant of Act 152 of the 1927 Arkansas Acts by the Arkansas legislature joining thirty-eight independent school districts into a "special" school district. As of 2019–20, PCSSD has the sixth-highest student enrollment in the state. Geographically, PCSSD is the state's fifth largest district and encompasses a total 729 square miles (1,890 km2), and includes most areas of the county—incorporated and unincorporated—excluding most areas within the city limits of Little Rock, Cammack Village, most areas within the city of North Little Rock, Jacksonville, and a section of McAlmont.

College Station is a census-designated place (CDP) in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States. The population was 600 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Little Rock–North Little Rock–Conway Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Woodyardville (also Feltons Store) is an unincorporated community in Pulaski County, Arkansas, United States.

The Little Rock Confederate Memorial is a stone memorial marker in Little Rock National Cemetery, Little Rock, Arkansas. Set in an overflow area of the cemetery on 21st and Barber Streets, it is a granite obelisk, mounted in a concrete base, measuring 18 feet (5.5 m) in height and a square base 67 inches (1.7 m) per side. Midway up the west side of the obelisk "U.D.C." is inscribed, with "1913" at the base of that side. Inscriptions on the sides of the base commemorate fallen Confederate Army soldiers. It was placed in 1913, paid for by the local chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. The ceremony marked the first time that the federal government formally took charge of a former Confederate military cemetery.The memorial was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

The Minnesota Monument is an American Civil War memorial in the Little Rock National Cemetery in Little Rock, Arkansas. Also known as "Taps", it depicts a Union Army soldier, his bare head slightly bowed. His hands resting on the butt of his rifle, which is inverted, with the barrel resting on the ground. The bronze sculpture is 7 feet (2.1 m) tall, and is mounted on a granite base about 8 feet (2.4 m) tall. It is dedicated to the 36 soldiers from Minnesota who are buried here. The sculpture was designed by John Karl Daniels, and was funded by the state of Minnesota. It was dedicated in 1916.The memorial was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.

Little Rock National Cemetery is a United States National Cemetery, located approximately two miles (3 km) south-east of the Arkansas State Capitol Building, being within the city of Little Rock, and Pulaski County, Arkansas. It encompasses 31.7 acres (12.8 ha), and as of the end of 2005, had 25,172 interments. Administered by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, it is currently closed to new interments.

Predominantly industrial in development, East Little Rock generally refers to most portions of the city of Little Rock, Arkansas located east of Interstate 30. The low-lying easternmost end of Arkansas' capital city is marked by distribution facilities and warehouses, Little Rock National Airport and its environs, the Port of Little Rock, and various manufacturers. A small number of residential areas can also be found dispersed throughout East Little Rock, progressing towards census-designated places including College Station and Sweet Home. Physically and economically, East Little Rock often contrasts sharply with the newest, westernmost neighborhoods of Little Rock. The two parts of the city are linked via Interstate 630, which has its first west-bound access near East 15th Street. Part of East Little Rock has received tremendous attention since the late 2004 opening of the William J. Clinton Presidential Center and Park near the banks of the Arkansas River. Development and subsequent opening of the facility and its adjoining Clinton School of Public Service, affiliated with the University of Arkansas, has served as a catalyst in plans to further improve its immediate area along the riverfront and downtown's River Market District. The next major addition for East Little Rock, the new headquarters of Heifer International adjacent to the Clinton library campus, opened on January 30, 2006.

Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport (IATA: LIT, ICAO: KLIT, FAA LID: LIT), also known as Adams Field, is a joint civil-military airport on the east side of Little Rock, Arkansas. It is operated by the Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission.The largest commercial airport in Arkansas, it served more than 2.1 million passengers in the year spanning from March 2009 through to February 2010. While Clinton National Airport does not have direct international passenger flights, more than 50 flights arrive or depart at Little Rock each day, with nonstop service to 14 cities. The airport is included in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2019–2023, in which it is categorized as a small-hub primary commercial service facility.

John Selden Roane (January 8, 1817 – April 7, 1867) was an American politician and lawyer who served as the fourth Governor of Arkansas from 1849 to 1852. Prior to this he commanded the Arkansas Mounted Infantry Regiment following the death of Colonel Archibald Yell at the Battle of Buena Vista. Roane also served as a senior officer of the Confederate States Army who commanded infantry in the Trans-Mississippi Theater of the American Civil War.

Unit A of the Climber Motor Car Factory is a historic industrial building at 1823 East 17th Street in Little Rock, Arkansas. It is a large wood-frame structure, topped by a gabled monitor roof. Its walls are concrete block for the bottom 2 feet (0.61 m), and wood frame between concrete pillars above. The building was constructed in 1919 for the Climber Motor Company, the only automobile manufacturer founded in the state, and was the only part actually built of a planned multi-building complex. The company manufactured automobiles here until 1924, after which it was used by Command-Aire to build light aircraft, and by the Great Northern Paper Company to manufacture toilet paper.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.
