St John the Evangelist's Church, Yealand Conyers

The Yealands is a civil parish in City of Lancaster district, Lancashire, England. It includes the villages of Yealand Conyers and Yealand Redmayne and the hamlet of Yealand Storrs. The parish was formed on 1 April 2024 by combining the former parishes of Yealand Conyers and Yealand Redmayne. It has a parish council, the lowest level of local government in England. In 2021 the parishes had a population of 539. The parish is in the north west of Lancashire, with its northern boundary along the county boundary with Westmorland and Furness in Cumbria. The M6 motorway runs along the eastern border of the parish, the A6 road and the West Coast Main Line railway run through the eastern part of the parish, and the Furness line crosses the far western corner of the parish. Most of the parish (except the area east of the A6) is within the Arnside and Silverdale National Landscape (formerly AONB). The amenities in the parish include Yealand Church of England Primary School, Yealand Village Hall, St John's Church (Anglican), St Mary's Church (Roman Catholic), Yealand Quaker Meeting House, and the New Inn pub. Leighton Hall, Trowbarrow Quarry and most of Leighton Moss RSPB reserve are also within the parish. There are 43 listed buildings in The Yealands.

It is an active Roman Catholic church in the diocese of Lancaster, and is linked with the churches of St Mary of the Angels, Bolton-le-Sands, and Our Lady of Lourdes, Carnforth. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building. It stands at the south end of the village.

The Monastery of Our Lady of Hyning is a community of Bernardine Cistercians in Warton, Lancaster, England, formerly known as St Bernard's Priory and informally called Hyning Monastery. Its grade II listed house has also been known as The Hyning, Hyning Priory, Hyning Hall and Hyning House. It is in the north of the parish of Warton, east of the road to Yealand Conyers.

Hyning Scout Wood is a wood between Yealand Conyers and Warton in Lancashire. Its features include limestone pavement and coppicing for charcoal. The trees include beech, larch, sweet chestnut and Scots pine. Its woodland plants include bluebells, dog's mercury, hart's-tongue fern and Solomon's Seal. Roe deer and both grey and red squirrels are found there.It is managed by the Woodland Trust; is part of the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is recognised as a Biological Heritage Site by the county. The wood contains a memorial plaque for anthropologist Mary Gluckman.

Leighton Hall is a historic house 0.5 miles (1 km) to the west of Yealand Conyers, Lancashire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building.

Warton is a village, civil parish and electoral ward in the City of Lancaster in north Lancashire in the north-west of England, close to the boundary with Cumbria, with a population of around 2,000, measured at the 2011 Census to be 2,360. It is a village steeped in history; its earliest recording as a settlement is made in Domesday Book written in 1086. The nearest town to Warton is Carnforth, which was originally part of Warton parish. It has connections to the first President of the United States, George Washington: Washington's ancestor of seven generations, Lawrence Washington, is rumoured to have helped build the village church of St Oswald. The parish covers an area in excess of 11,000 acres (45 km2) and is predominantly rural. The parish of Warton had a population of 2,315 recorded in the 2001 census, and 2,360 in the 2011 census.

Warton with Lindeth was a civil parish and township in the north of Lancashire, England, from 1866 to 1935. It had an area of 4,141 acres (1,676 ha). It was abolished on 1 April 1935, when 3,534 acres (1,430 ha) formed the new civil parish of Warton and 607 acres (246 ha) were added to the civil parish of Silverdale (created 1866).In John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales (1870–72), Lindeth was described as "a hamlet in Warton parish, Lancashire; 4 ½ miles NW of Carnforth".

The Three Brothers (grid reference SD494734) are three erratic boulders or standing stone hilltop altars located in the hills above Morecambe Bay, immediately north of Warton Crag. The site was surveyed by Alexander Thom. It is accessible along a footpath through woodland.
