Cinecittà is a station on the Rome Metro. It is on Line A and is located at the intersection of Via Tuscolana, Via di Torre Spaccata and Via delle Capannelle.

The Villa dei Sette Bassi (also Villa Via Tuscolana) was the second-largest ancient Roman villa or monumental palace in the suburbs after the Villa of the Quintilii.The site is on a hilly plateau located at the fifth mile of Via Tuscolana to the southeast of Rome and forms part of the Appia Antica archaeological park. The name, known since the Middle Ages, is probably derived from the emperor Lucius Septimius Bassianus known as Caracalla (r. 198-217) and not from Septimius Bassus, prefect under the Emperor Septimius Severus (r.193–211) (Caracalla's father). Indeed, it seems that Caracalla had merged the villa of the Sette Bassi and the villa of the Quintilii into a single vast imperial estate. It was inhabited until the beginning of the fourth century, and maintained by additional restorations for two more centuries. Six Roman marble sculptures from the site can be found in the British Museum.

Cinecittà Studios (pronounced [ˌtʃinetʃitˈta]; Italian for Cinema City Studios), is a large film studio in Rome, Italy. With an area of 400,000 square metres (99 acres), it is the largest film studio in Europe, and is considered the hub of Italian cinema. The studios were constructed during the Fascist era as part of a plan to revive the Italian film industry.Filmmakers such as Federico Fellini, Roberto Rossellini, Luchino Visconti, Sergio Leone, Bernardo Bertolucci, Francis Ford Coppola, Martin Scorsese, and Mel Gibson have worked at Cinecittà. More than 3,000 movies have been filmed there, of which 90 received an Academy Award nomination and 47 of these won it. In the 1950s, the number of international productions being made there led to Rome being dubbed "Hollywood on the Tiber."

Anagnina is a station of Line A of the Rome Metro. It is located at the junction between Via Tuscolana and Via Anagnina, close to the depot of Osteria del Curato. The station rises at 53 metres (174 ft) above sea level.

The Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (CSC), (Experimental Center of Cinematography), is an Italian national film school headquartered in Rome. It is also referred to as the Scuola Nazionale di Cinema (National Film School) and has satellite educational hubs in five other Italian regions. It was established in 1935 and aims to promote the art and technique of cinematography and film.

Santi Gioacchino ed Anna al Tuscolano is a church in Rome. The church is dedicated to Saints Joachim and Anne, parents of the Virgin Mary. On 28 June 1988, this church was erected as a cardinal's title. The first two cardinal priests to hold title to this church were Hans Hermann Groer, O.S.B. and Keith O'Brien. Each of these cardinals was implicated in sexual scandals and renounced his privileges as cardinal. The title has been held by Toribio Ticona Porco since 28 June 2018.

Subaugusta is an underground station on Line A of the Rome Metro. This station in located in Piazza di Cinecittà, at the intersection of Via Tuscolana with Viale Tito Labieno and Via Orazio Pulvillo.

Santa Maria Domenica Mazzarello is a parish church of the Diocese of Rome as well as a titular church to which a cardinal priest is sometimes assigned.

The Parco degli Acquedotti is a public park to the southeast of Rome, Italy. It is part of the Appian Way Regional Park and is of approximately 240 ha.

The Basilica of Saint John Bosco is a church in the Don Bosco quarter of Rome, situated between the via Tuscolana and Centocelle Airport. It is dedicated to Saint John Bosco. On 5 February 1965, Pope Paul VI established this church as a deaconry under the name San Giovanni Bosco in Via Tuscolana. He gave it the status of a minor basilica on 20 November 1965. The church is a parish seat of the Diocese of Rome and has been entrusted to the care of the Salesian Fathers.

Giulio Agricola is an underground station on Line A of the Rome Metro. It is located on Via Tuscolana, on the junction with Viale Giulio Agricola and Viale Marco Fulvio Nobiliore, in an area where roads and squares are named after Roman commanders and consuls. The station is the setting for the short film Ultimo Metro with Debora Calì.

Santa Maria Regina Mundi a Torre Spaccata is a 20th-century parochial church and titular church in eastern Rome.
