University of the Philippines Arboretum

The Philippine Research Reactor-1 (PRR-1) is a research reactor that is owned and maintained by the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute (PNRI) in Quezon City, Philippines. The PRR-1 is the first nuclear reactor and the only nuclear facility that has been operated in the Philippines. It has been in extended shutdown for more than 30 years since 1988. Currently, a subcritical reactor is being established that will utilize the existing PRR-1 fuel.

The U.P.–Ayala Land TechnoHub is an information technology hub jointly developed by the University of the Philippines Diliman and property developer Ayala Land. It is located in Commonwealth Avenue, Barangay U.P. Campus, Quezon City. It occupies 20 hectares (49 acres) within the 37.5 hectares (93 acres) of the U.P. North Science and Technology Park.

The Philippines' Agricultural Training Institute (Filipino: Surian ng Pasanayang Pang-agrikultura, abbreviated as ATI), is an agency of the Philippine government under the Department of Agriculture responsible for training agricultural extension workers and their clientele; conducting multi-level training programs to promote and accelerate rural development; and ensuring that research results are communicated to the farmers through appropriate training and extension activities.

Commonwealth Avenue, formerly known as Don Mariano Marcos Avenue, is a 12.4-kilometer (7.7 mi) highway located in Quezon City, Philippines, which spans from six to eighteen lanes and is the widest in the Philippines. It is one of the major roads in Metro Manila and is designated as part of Radial Road 7 (R-7) of the older Manila arterial road system and National Route 170 (N170) of the Philippine highway network. Commonwealth Avenue starts from Elliptical Road, which circumscribes the Quezon Memorial Circle, and it passes through the areas of Philcoa, Tandang Sora, Balara, Batasan Hills, Fairview, and ends at Quirino Highway in the Novaliches area. The avenue, being located on Quezon City, which is listed as one of several cities in Metro Manila with high incidence of road accidents, has a high rate of accidents, especially related to overspeeding, and has gained the nickname "Killer Highway". A 60-kilometer-per-hour (37 mph) speed limit is being enforced to reduce the high rate of accidents on the avenue.

Congressional Avenue (Filipino: Abenida Kongresyonal) is a 6-kilometer (3.7 mi) highway located in Quezon City, Philippines, which spans from six lanes. It is one of the secondary roads in Metro Manila and part of it is designated as part of Circumferential Road 5 (C-5) of the Manila arterial road system and National Route 129 (N129) of the Philippine highway system. Congressional Avenue starts from the intersection between EDSA and FPJ Avenue (formerly Roosevelt), passes through some of the Project areas, Tandang Sora, Culiat, and Pasong Tamo, and ends at Luzon Avenue at the boundary of Matandang Balara. The avenue, being located on Quezon City, is one of the rising food destinations in the city because many food establishments such as food parks set-up shop particularly along Congressional Avenue Extension.

The Philippine Coconut Authority (Filipino: Pangasiwaan sa Niyog ng Pilipinas, abbreviated as PCA or PHILCOA) is an agency of the Philippine government under the Department of Agriculture (from 2014 to 2018, under the Office of the President of the Philippines and the Office of the Cabinet Secretary) responsible for developing the coconut and other palm oil industry to its full potential in line with the new vision of a united, globally competitive and efficient industry.

The Philippines' Bureau of Agricultural Research (BAR; Filipino: Kawanihan ng Pananaliksik sa Agrikultura), is an agency of the Philippine government under the Department of Agriculture responsible for ensuring that all agricultural research is coordinated and undertaken for maximum utility to agriculture.

New Era University (NEU) is a private educational institution in the Philippines, run by the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC). Although it is associated with the INC, it claims to be a non-sectarian university. Its main campus is at New Era, Quezon City, within the Central Office Complex of the INC. Aside from its flagship Quezon City campus, it has four other campuses around the Philippines, including one in San Fernando City (Pampanga), in Lipa City (Batangas), in General Santos City, and in Baras (Rizal). Founded on 17 June 1975, it was known as the New Era Educational Institute, and was located in Echague, Quiapo, Manila, along Carlos Palanca St. It initially offered only secondary education (high school) but later expanded in 1977 to serve technical and vocational courses under its Center for Livelihood and Skills Training (CLST). It also offers graduate programs. In 1981, it was renamed New Era College after the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports (MECS) granted collegiate status, and later in June 1995, to its present name, New Era University, when the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) granted university status. It is run by the INC for the educational needs of INC members, although it accepts enrollments from non-INC members as well. Formerly, under the university umbrella, it ran the College of Evangelical Ministry (now Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ) School for Ministers), where the INC trains male members to become ministers. Other colleges include College of Engineering and Technology, College of Nursing, College of Business Administration, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Education, College of Music, College of Law, College of Computer Studies, College of Accountancy, School of Graduate Studies, and the then new College of Communication, College of Medicine, and Center for Medical and Health Allied Sciences. It offers new courses in the Philippines, including BS Real Estate Management and BS Criminology. NEU is the legal owner of the Philippine Arena, which is the largest indoor arena in the world with a seating capacity of over 50,000.It annually hosts its graduation ceremonies at the Philippine Arena in Ciudad de Victoria, which is being developed because there is a proposal to move the main campus of NEU to this location.

The Philippines' Bureau of Soils and Water Management (Filipino: Kawanihan ng Pamamahala sa Lupa at Tubig, abbreviated as BSWM), is an agency of the Philippine government under the Department of Agriculture responsible for advising and rendering assistance on matters relative to the utilization of soils and water as vital agricultural resources.

The Quezon City Museum Complex, more commonly known as the QCX Museum or the Quezon City Experience Museum is an interactive and socio-cultural green building-compliant city museum which was inaugurated on November 9, 2015, within the Quezon Memorial Circle in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. QCX primarily displays the history and culture of Quezon City. It is touted as the first interactive museum of the city. The museum concept was conceived in 2006.

The Net 25 tower is a free-standing lattice tower with triangular cross section used by Net 25 a Philippine television network based out of Quezon City. Built in the year 2000, the tower stands 276.4 meters (907 ft) tall.It is currently the tallest structure in the Philippines and one of the tallest lattice towers in the world.

The Quezon Memorial Circle is a national park located in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. The park is located inside a large traffic circle in the shape of an ellipse and bounded by the Elliptical Road and is the main park of Quezon City (which served as the official capital of the Philippines from 1948 to 1976). Its main feature is a 66-meter (217 ft) tall mausoleum containing the remains of Manuel L. Quezon, the second official President of the Philippines and the first of an internationally recognized independent Philippines, and his wife, First Lady Aurora Quezon. This location will be the street alignment for the approved Manila Metro Rail Transit System Line 7 named Quezon Memorial MRT Station and the station will be underground. "Circle", as locals call it, has been undergoing significant changes in order to lure in more tourists both local and foreign. Due to these beautification efforts of the local government the number of visitors is continuously increasing.
