Kingsholm Stadium

Clapham was a district of the City of Gloucester that was developed from 1822 by George Worrall Counsel who built several hundred houses for artisans. It included Worrall Street and Counsel Street, neither of which now exist. The area was redeveloped in the twentieth century and is now part of Kingsholm.

Kingsholm is an area of Gloucester, in the county of Gloucestershire, England. It is home to Kingsholm Stadium, which hosts Gloucester Rugby and other international matches. It is also home to a Church of England school, Kingsholm Primary School. In 2021, It and the area of Wotton had a population of 9329.

Tanners Hall was a 13th century town house and is now a ruin located on Gouda Way in Gloucester. It is the oldest non-religious building and only surviving medieval domestic stone house in the city. It became a Grade II listed building on 29 July 2015.

Gloucestershire Archives holds the archives for the county of Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire. The archives are held at Alvin Street in Gloucester and run by Gloucestershire County Council.More recently, the Archives at Alvin Street have been rebranded as the Gloucestershire Heritage Hub. The project aims to encourage Gloucestershire residents to investigate their local history; in particular providing an accessible repository of documents for tracking family history. The Hub also provides volunteering opportunities such as the transcribing of historical sources. In the summer of 2019, the Hub embarked on a construction project to build a new entrance and strongrooms.

Worcester Street in the City of Gloucester runs between the junction of Alvin Street and Kingsholm Road in the north and Northgate Street in the south. The street was developed in 1822 as an alternative route to Tewkesbury to replace the narrower Hare Lane and was promoted by John Phillpotts. It is shown fully laid out on Causton's 1843 map.

The King's School is a co-educational private day school in Gloucester, in the county of Gloucestershire, in South West England. It traces its heritage to a monastic school founded in the 11th century in the cloisters of Gloucester Cathedral. It became one of seven 'King's Schools' established, or re-endowed by King Henry VIII in 1541 after the Dissolution of the Monasteries.

Gloucester Court of Probate is a grade II listed building at 3–4 Pitt Street, Gloucester in England.It was designed by Thomas Fulljames of Fulljames & Waller in 1858 in a "picturesque Gothic style" and built by Oliver Estcourt at a cost of £1,100. The building has been converted to offices and is no longer in use as a court.

St Peter's Church is a Roman Catholic Parish church in Gloucester, Gloucestershire. It was built from 1860 to 1868 and designed by Gilbert Blount. It is situated on the corner of London Road and Black Dog Way in the centre of the city. It is a Grade II* listed building.

Northgate Street is a street in the City of Gloucester, so named because its northern end was originally the location of the north gate in the city's walls. The street runs from the crossroads of Northgate, Eastgate, Southgate, and Westgate Streets in the south (The Cross) to London Road in the north. It is joined by St John's Lane, Hare Lane, and Worcester Street on the north side and The Oxebode, St Aldate Street, and Spread Eagle Road on the south side.

Northgate House is a grade II* listed building at 19 London Road in the city of Gloucester, England. It was built in the mid to late 17th-century and refronted in the mid 18th-century.

Oxford Street is located in the City of Gloucester, England. It runs between London Road in the south and Oxford Road in the north. St Oswald's Priory was founded by Æthelflæd, daughter of Alfred the Great, and her husband Æthelred, ealdorman of Mercia, in the late 880s or the 890s. It appears to have been an exact copy of the Old Minster, Winchester It is a Grade I listed building. The site was an important part of the Burh of Gloucester and was supported by the ruling family of the time including king Æthelstan. From the 11th century its importance declined, becoming a minor house of Canons regular until suppression in 1536. The building was damaged during the English Civil War and largely demolished in 1643.
