Six Flags Fiesta Texas, formerly known simply as Fiesta Texas, is a theme park located in Northwest San Antonio. It opened on March 14, 1992, in the La Cantera master-planned development and district as the first business in that development. Spanning 200 acres (81 ha), the park was originally built to become a destination musical show park with its focus on the musical culture of the state of Texas. The park was purchased by Time Warner in 1995, and branded as a Six Flags park for the 1996 season. The park's landmark is the Scream drop tower ride which stands 205 feet tall and can be seen from all around the park as well as outside the property. The vibrant colors of the ride along with the Fiesta Texas signage make it visible to guests approaching from the intersection of Loop 1604 and Interstate 10. A good portion of the park is hidden within the quarry, however, several other attractions, including portions of most of the park's roller coasters are visible from outside the park.

Poltergeist is a steel roller coaster located at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, Texas. Designed by Werner Stengel and manufactured by Premier Rides, the roller coaster opened to the public on May 28, 1999. Its track was fabricated by Dynamic Structures and Intermountain Lift, Inc.

Werewolf Gorge is an upcoming steel family roller coaster opening in 2027 at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, Texas, United States. Billed as becoming the longest family launched roller coaster in the world when it opens, it will feature 4,120 feet (1,260 m) of track and a ride duration of two minutes thirty-six seconds. Its four launches will accelerate riders to a top speed of 45 miles per hour (72 km/h), and its layout will contain multiple airtime moments and drops up to 40 feet (12 m) in height. It will be located in the Crackaxle Canyon Screampunk District area of the park and themed to werewolves with multiple thematic elements.

Streamliner Coaster is a junior roller coaster located at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, Texas. Designed by Vekoma, a Dutch manufacture, the coaster is one of the few original attractions that opened with the park. Riders board a 10-seater train and go up a short hill before going down and following the track in a simple loop back round to the station in two circuits.

Road Runner Express is a steel roller coaster located at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio, Texas. It was built for the park's 1997 season and is the last mine train roller coaster ever to be built by Arrow Dynamics in a Six Flags theme park.In contrast to most of the similarly named Road Runner Express coasters at Six Flags parks, Fiesta Texas' version is not a junior coaster, but a full-scale, though not extreme, family roller coaster. The target audience for the ride is families. Some track portions of Road Runner Express pass under segments of the Iron Rattler roller coaster, as they sit next to each other in the park's Crackaxle Canyon.

Iron Rattler is a steel roller coaster located at Six Flags Fiesta Texas in San Antonio. Originally opening as a wooden coaster called Rattler in 1992, it was converted to steel and renamed Iron Rattler in 2013. Designed by Alan Schilke and built by Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC), the ride features a zero-g-roll inversion, which was a first among hybrid coasters made of wood and steel.The wooden Rattler was constructed by the now-defunct and controversial Roller Coaster Corporation of America, opening as the tallest and fastest wooden coaster in the world. It featured a height of 179 feet (55 m), a drop of 166 feet (51 m). Following head and neck injury reports, Rattler was toned down in 1994 with a major reduction to its first drop. RMC modified the wooden Rattler by placing new steel track on top of the existing wooden support structure. The first drop was steepened to 81 degrees and lowered from 124 to 171 feet (38 to 52 m), resulting in a top speed of 70 miles per hour (110 km/h).

Superman: Krypton Coaster is a steel roller coaster located at Six Flags Fiesta Texas amusement park in San Antonio. Manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard, the Floorless Coaster model opened to the public in 2000 as one of the first of its kind in the world. The well-received ride held the title for the world's tallest vertical loop (145 feet) from its opening until 2013. Superman: Krypton Coaster stands 168 feet (51 m) tall and reaches a maximum speed of 70 mph (110 km/h).

Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster is a steel roller coaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, built by Rocky Mountain Construction and opened on May 12, 2018. The roller coaster is themed to the DC Comics character, Wonder Woman. It was one of two prototype single-rail coasters to open in 2018, the other being RailBlazer at California's Great America, which has a mirror-image layout to the Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster.

The Shops at La Cantera is an open-air regional shopping mall located in La Cantera, San Antonio, near the Texas State Highway Loop 1604 and Interstate 10 interchange, on the city's Northwest Side. The initial phase of the project opened on September 16, 2005. The 1,300,000-square-foot (120,000 m2) center sits on a 150-acre (0.61 km2) site in La Cantera, a 1,700-acre (6.9 km2) master-planned resort community developed by USAA Real Estate Company. The anchor stores are Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Dillard's, Macy's, Barnes & Noble, and H&M.

La Cantera Golf Club is a golf club located in the La Cantera district of San Antonio, Texas, USA. The club played host to the Valero Texas Open, an annual tournament on the PGA Tour, from 1995 to 2009. It is owned by USAA Real Estate.The championship golf course is 6,896 yards long, and plays to a par of 70. The course was the setting for Tommy Armour III's PGA Tour 72-hole record aggregate score of 254, set in 2003.

The UTSA Klesse College of Engineering and Integrated Design (CEID) houses The University of Texas at San Antonio's Engineering and Architectural, Construction and Planning programs. It was originally founded as the College of Engineering but was renamed to the Klesse College of Engineering and Integrated Design (CEID) in 2021.CEID provides undergraduate degrees in the fields of Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, and Architecture & Planning. Graduate degrees are also offered in multiple areas, including Biomedical Engineering.As Engineering students reach their senior year, they must choose a concentration. A concentration is a more specific area in one's field of study, where the student is required to take classes in that concentration. For electrical engineering, the concentrations offered are control systems, computer engineering, and communications. The Engineering departments puts a heavy emphasis on engineering science and practical applications. Before graduation, an engineering student will have a firm foundation not only in the necessary mathematics, but also with computer applications that will be used in the engineering career field. In 2021 The University of Texas at San Antonio announced the formal launch of the College of Engineering and Integrated Design (CEID). The new college combines the academic departments and programs under the College of Engineering and the College of Architecture, Construction and Planning. On December 9 of the same year, it was announced that the college would be renamed after former Valero CEO William R. Klesse who donated $20 million to the university.
