St. Hallvard's Cathedral (Hallvardskatedralen) was the former Oslo Cathedral. It fell into disrepair in the 17th century and is today in ruins. The site is located between Bispegata and St. Halvards gate in Oslo, Norway.

The Old Town of Oslo (Norwegian: Gamlebyen, pronounced [ˈɡɑ̂mɽəbʏn] (listen)) is a neighbourhood in the inner city of Oslo, Norway, belonging to the borough of Gamle Oslo and is the oldest urban area within the current capital. This part of the capital of Norway was simply called Oslo until 1925 while the city as a whole was called Kristiania. Oslo's old town was established with the urban structure around the year 1000 and was the capital of Norway's dominion in 1314. The main Old Town area (i.e. the southern and central parts of Old Town) has several ruins of stone and brick lying above ground, and large amounts of protected culture underground. The core area also has listed 1700s buildings. Towards Ekeberg slope and further up are some 17th and 18th-century wooden houses that are zoned for conservation under the Planning and Building Act, though there exist in the Old Town many four-storey brick houses, built at the end of the 1800s, and some heritage railway buildings from different eras.

St. Olav's Abbey, Stavanger (Olavsklosteret i Stavanger) was a medieval era house of Augustinian Canons in Stavanger, Norway.

Munkegata was a tram stop on the Gamleby Line of the Oslo Tramway. It is located at the intersection of Oslo gate and Schweigaards gate in Gamlebyen, Oslo, Norway. The station opened on 6 October 1875 as part of the Gamleby Line extension to Oslo Hospital by Kristiania Sporveisselskab. The station was served by lines 18 and 19, which used both SL79 and SL95 trams. It was close on late 2020.

St Halvards plass was a tram stop on the Gamleby Line of the Oslo Tramway. It was located at the square St Halvards plass, on the intersection of Oslo gate and Bispegata in Gamlebyen, Oslo, Norway. The station opened on 6 October 1875 as part of the Gamleby Line extension to Oslo Hospital by Kristiania Sporveisselskab. The station was served by lines 18 and 19, using both SL79 and SL95 trams. The nearest Station is Middelalderparken.

Oslo Ladegård is a manor house situated at Gamlebyen in Oslo, Norway. It was built of the site of the Old Bishop's Palace in Oslo. The current building was erected in 1725 by Karen Toller. The architectural style is classic baroque, with a high, hipped roof and a symmetrical ground plan. The hall in the cellar dates from the Old Bishop's Palace of the 13th century. The property was expropriated by the government for railway purposes in 1894, and in 1956 it transferred to the City of Oslo. The manor house is used as a museum and concert hall. The estate garden, which went almost down to the seafront during the late 1700s, was reconstructed and reopened in 1999 on the basis of a pattern from 1779. The name comes from this area being used for unloading ships with supplies for Akershus fortress after the founding of Christiania, (now Oslo). The word "lade" means to load in this context.

The Old Bishop's Palace in Oslo (Oslo Bispeborg) was the residence of the Roman Catholic bishops of Oslo. The estate is located in what is now called Gamlebyen (old town) in Oslo, Norway. Various remnants of the medieval bishop's original palace are still visible.

The Holy Cross Church (Norwegian: Korskirken) was a small medieval parish church for the northern part of the Old Town of Oslo, Norway. The ruin was rediscovered in 1922 and is now a part of Minneparken containing the ruins of the church and the larger St. Hallvard's Cathedral.

Nonneseter Abbey, Oslo (Nonneseter kloster i Oslo), was a Benedictine convent located in Oslo, Norway, active between the 12th and 16th centuries.

Gamlebyen Church is a private church, belonging to Oslo University Hospital and is also called Oslo Hospital's Church, located in the old town of Oslo, Norway. It is leased to the Diocese of Oslo of the Church of Norway and serves as the parish church for the Gamlebyen parish in Oslo. Up to 1925 it had the name Oslo Church, but when the city changed its name from Kristiania to Oslo, the church got the present name. The present church building is listed in 1796 partly on the foundations of the Franciscan monastery church built around 1290. The church is located at the foot of the north-facing slope Ekeberg, across the street from the Gamlebyen Cemetery. The chapel at the cemetery is abandoned as a burial chapel and leased to the Ethiopian community in Oslo. At funerals, the church itself is now used instead.

Oslo Hospital is a light rail tram stop on the Ekeberg Line of the Oslo Tramway. It is located near Oslo Hospital in Ekeberg, in the borough of Gamlebyen, in Oslo, Norway. The station opened on 2 December 1878 as the terminus of the second segment of the Gamleby Line built by Kristiania Sporveisselskab. It was renamed following the change of name of the city from Kristiania to Oslo in 1925. On 11 June 1917 it also became the first station on the Ekeberg Line, after Ekebergbanen had built the suburban tramway to Sæter. The station is served by lines 13 and 19, using both SL79 and SL95 trams. Now, it is currently the terminus of the Bjørvika Line.

Sørenga is a neighborhood in Gamlebyen in Oslo, Norway. It is located east of Bjørvika, west of Vannspeilet, south of the street Bispegata and Oslo torg, and west and north of the Alna River. South of the area the Sørengautstikkeren runs out into the Oslo Fjord.
