Bear Creek (Mokelumne River tributary)

The Atlas Tract (formerly known as the Hartland Tract) is an island in the Sacramento–San Joaquin River Delta, in San Joaquin County, California. It has been used for agriculture since it was first reclaimed in the late 19th century.

It appears on a 1952 USGS map of the area.The Shima Tract was owned by (and takes its name from) George Shima, a businessman and farmer who at one point produced 85% of California's potato crop.

Bear Creek High School is a high school located in north Stockton, California. It is part of Lodi Unified School District (LUSD). Current enrollment is roughly 2,000 students. Before Ronald E. McNair High School opened in 2006, Bear Creek was the newest high school in LUSD.

The Wright-Elmwood Tract (alternately referred to as the Wright Tract or the Elmwood Tract) is an island in the Sacramento–San Joaquin River Delta. It is part of San Joaquin County, California, and managed by Reclamation District 2119. Its coordinates are 37°59′23″N 121°22′50″W, and the United States Geological Survey measured its elevation as 0 ft (0 m) in 1981.

King Island is an island in the north Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta, twenty kilometres east of Antioch, and twenty kilometres west of Stockton. The 1,300 ha (3,200-acre) island is bounded on the north by White Slough, on the east by Bishop Cut, on the south by Disappointment Slough, and on the west, Honker Cut. It is in San Joaquin County, and managed by Reclamation District 2044. It appears on a 1952 United States Geological Survey map of the area.

Vulcan Island (also known as Shipyard Island) is a small island in the Sacramento–San Joaquin River Delta. It is part of San Joaquin County, California. Its coordinates are 37°59′21″N 121°24′22″W, and the United States Geological Survey measured its elevation as 7 ft (2.1 m) in 1981. It appears on a 1952 USGS map of the area.

Hog Island is an island in the San Joaquin River, and is one of many islands which constitute the Sacramento–San Joaquin River Delta. It was used for agriculture in the early 20th century, but has now mostly become marsh or submerged land; it remains a spot for fishing, particularly halibut and striped bass.

Humphreys University, previously known as Humphreys College, is an independent, non-profit university with two campuses in California, one in Modesto and the other in Stockton. It has been in continuous service to the central San Joaquin Valley since 1896, giving it the distinction of being the first institution of higher education in the area. It awards certificates, and associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees. Its Humphreys College Laurence Drivon School of Law awards the juris doctor degree. The college is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities, and the law school is accredited by the California State Bar Committee of Bar Examiners.

Humphreys College Laurence Drivon School of Law is an independent, nonprofit law school located in Stockton, California. The School of Law is approved by the Committee of Bar Examiners of the State Bar of California and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges but neither has nor seeks accreditation by the American Bar Association.
