The Hôtel du Lac (English: Lake Hotel) is a hotel in Tunis. The building was designed in the Brutalist style by the Italian architect Raffaele Contigiani and built from 1970 to 1973 for the Tunisian government of Habib Bourguiba.

The Russian Orthodox church in Tunis (Arabic: الكنيسة الأرثوذكسية الروسية بتونس), also called 'Church of the Resurrection' (Russian: Церковь Воскресения Христова) is a church Orthodox of the city of Tunis (Tunisia). Located on the Avenue Mohammed V, it was built by the Russian community of Tunis. The laying of the foundation stone in October 1953. Built by Russian architect Michel Kozmin (1901-1999), it was inaugurated on June 10, 1956.

Esplanade Gambetta is a plaza located in the center of the Tunisian capital, Tunis. It is named after the French lawyer and politician Léon Gambetta.

Theâtre de l'Étoile du Nord (Arabic: مسرح نجمة الشمال) also known as the North Star Theatre, is a theatre in the centre of Tunis, Tunisia. It is located at 41 Avenue de Farhat-Hached, near Avenue Habib Bourguiba since 26 February 2000; the theatrical production company was established on 29 February 1996. The premises of the theatre covers over 700 m2 (7,500 sq ft), its great hall covering 400 m2 (4,300 sq ft). Located in a former warehouse, it hosts concerts of all kind of music, literary meetings in French or Arabic and the theatrical presentations of the company of the Étoile du Nord. Said to be "as boho as Tunis gets", the theatre is popular with students and artists who meet in the alcohol-free cafe and its library. The theatre hosts around 160 events per year, including western style reggae, heavy metal and jazz groups performing and stand-up comedy.

The Institut maghrébin des sciences économiques et technologiques (IMSET) is a private vocational school based in Tunis, Tunisia. Since 2017, it has been part of Honoris United Universities. IMSET has campus facilities in Tunis, Sousse, Gabès and Nabeul. It offers training in management, computer science, health, agriculture and technology.

The Théâtre municipal de Tunis (engl. Municipal Theatre of Tunis) in Tunisia was first opened on November 20, 1902 and currently showcases opera, ballet, symphonic concerts and dramas featuring numerous Tunisian, Arab and international actors.

Tunis (Arabic: تونس Tūnis) is the capital and largest city of Tunisia. The greater metropolitan area of Tunis, often referred to as "Grand Tunis", has about 2,700,000 inhabitants. As the capital of the country, Tunis is the focus of Tunisian political and administrative life and also the center of the country's commercial and cultural activities.

The siege of Tunis was a siege fought in 1694, between the Deylik of Algiers, and Muradid Tunis, during the Tunisian-Algerian War of 1694.

Tunis Gare Centrale (also known as Gare de Tunis) is the main railway station in Tunis, the capital of Tunisia. It is operated by the Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer Tunisiens. The station was damaged in a fire, during the revolution of 2011.

On 24 November 2015, a bus carrying Tunisian presidential guards exploded, killing 12, on a principal road in Tunis, Tunisia. ISIL claimed responsibility for the attack. The bomber, who also died in the attack, was identified as Houssem Abdelli.

Lycée Carnot de Tunis (French: Lycée Carnot de Tunis; Arabic: معهد كارنو) or Lycée pilote Bourguiba de Tunis (French: Lycée pilote Bourguiba de Tunis; Arabic: معهد بورقيبة النموذجي بتونس) formerly known as Collège Saint-Charles (French: Collège Saint-Charles), It is a secondary school that opened on October 9, 1882 on Avenue Habib Thamer in Tunis.Since 1983, the building has housed a typical high school, an establishment of the educational system in Tunisia bearing the name of former President Habib Bourguiba, himself a former student of the establishment.
