The Lake Washington School District #414 or LWSD is a public school district in King County, Washington, in suburbs east of Seattle. As of 2020 it is the second-largest school district in Washington. It serves the region to the east of Lake Washington, one of the wealthiest in the Puget Sound area. The district serves the communities of Kirkland, Redmond, north Sammamish, and southern parts of Bothell and Woodinville. In October 2021, the district had a student enrollment of 30,500.

The Spring District is a transit-oriented development and neighborhood that is under construction in Bellevue, Washington. The 16-block, 36-acre (15 ha) development is centered around the Spring District/120th station on the East Link Extension, a light rail line scheduled to open in 2023. It is located in the Bel-Red area between Downtown Bellevue and Redmond, currently used for light industry, roughly bounded on the west by 120th Avenue NE and the Eastside Rail Corridor rail trail, on the north by a King County Metro bus base, on the east by 124th Avenue NE, and on the south by NE 12th Street.The Spring District is being developed by Wright Runstad & Company in a joint venture with Shorenstein Properties. NBBJ is the project's master plan architect, though individual buildings developed by Security Properties and AMLI Residential are being designed by GGLO. Plans for the neighborhood were drawn up in the late 2000s and allowed after a 2009 upzone of the Bel-Red corridor. Demolition of a former distribution center on the site began in September 2013. Construction of the first phase, consisting of two apartment buildings, began in June 2015 and finished in 2017. The full development is anticipated to be completed by 2028, adding 5.3 million square feet (490,000 m2) of housing, office space and retail to the area. Two major office tenants have confirmed their intent to occupy space in the Spring District: Meta (formerly Facebook) and the Global Innovation Exchange, an educational institute formed from a partnership between the University of Washington, Microsoft and Tsinghua University. In 2016, the Puget Sound Business Journal ranked the $2.3 billion project as the second-largest construction project in the Puget Sound region, behind the East Link light rail extension.

Spring District/120th station is a future light rail station in Bellevue, Washington, United States. It will be a retained cut station on East Link, a Link light rail line serving Bellevue, in the Spring District neighborhood. It is expected to open along with the section of the line to Overlake in 2023.

Lake Bellevue, also called Lake Sturtevant, is a small lake inside the city limits of Bellevue, Washington. Along with Phantom Lake and Larsen Lake, it is one of three small lakes inside the city, which also borders Lake Washington and Lake Sammamish. Sturtevant Creek, a tributary of Kelsey Creek, has its origin at Lake Bellevue and contains Chinook (an endangered species), Sockeye and Coho salmon. In the 773-acre (313 ha) creek basin, 71% of the land has an impervious surface (roads and parking lots).The lake is named for settler Clark Merrill Sturtevant, a United States Civil War veteran who homesteaded there in 1872.Tracks for the Northern Pacific Railroad passing near the lake were laid in 1904. Sound Transit acquired part of the right of way for East Link Extension light rail. The Wilburton station, under construction in 2017, will be near the west side of the lake. The Spring District development and its separate light rail station about one half mile (one kilometer) away will be near the northeastern shore of the lake.

Wilburton station is a future Link light rail station in Bellevue, Washington, on Sound Transit's East Link Extension. The elevated station, expected to open in 2023, will serve the area immediately east of Downtown Bellevue, including Lake Bellevue and the Overlake Hospital Medical Center.

Overlake Medical Center is a 349-bed non-profit community hospital located in Bellevue, Washington. The hospital opened in 1960, and operates a level III emergency department. In the last year with available data, the hospital had about 53,572 emergency department visits, 20,562 in-patient visits, 7,073 in-patient surgeries, and 7,512 outpatient surgeries. The hospital is accredited by the joint commission. The hospital has a da Vinci surgical robot that is used for surgical procedures.

Bellevue Botanical Garden is a botanical garden east of downtown Bellevue, Washington on Main Street. Established in 1992, many different organizations work to maintain the garden to keep it free of charge. What began as a 7-acre gift to the city in the early 1980s has now become a 53-acre public park with multiple gardens. This includes the Fuchsia Garden, Lost Meadow Trail, Native Discovery Garden, Perennial Border, Rhododendron Glen, The Urban Meadow, Waterwise Garden, Yao Garden, and Dahlia Display.

Bel-Red/130th station will be an at-grade Sound Transit East Link light rail station in the Bel-Red area of Bellevue, Washington. It is expected to open along with the section of the line to Overlake in 2023. In February 2017, Sound Transit awarded a $93 million construction contract for the station and nearby bridge to the Max J. Kuney Company.

International School (IS) is a 6th–12th school in the Bellevue School District. The school follows a seven by seven curriculum wherein students pursue studies in seven core academic areas for all seven years of attendance. The seven core subjects are: English, Science, Math, Social Studies, Physical Education, Fine Arts, and French.

Washington Technology University (WTU) is an American private university based in Bellevue, Washington. The school offers a bachelor's degree in information security targeted at local residents wanting to join the Seattle technology industry, and admitted its first class in January 2018. WTU is authorized by the Washington Student Achievement Council and meets the requirements and minimum educational standards established for degree-granting institutions under the Degree-Granting Institution Act.

Meydenbauer Center is a convention center in Bellevue, Washington. It is located adjacent to Bellevue City Hall and Interstate 405. The center opened in 1993. It has a 36,000-square-foot (3,300 m2) exhibition hall, a 12,000-square-foot (1,100 m2) meeting room, a 410-seat performing arts theatre, and 434 parking spaces. In 2009 the center added a 2,500 sqft executive center that includes three meeting rooms. Meydenbauer Center hosts over 300 events each year including conventions, corporate meetings and events, and trade shows. It is owned and operated by Bellevue Convention Center Authority (BCCA). The BCCA Board of Directors are appointed by the Bellevue City Manager and confirmed by the Bellevue City Council.
