The Diocesan Shrine and Parish of St. Mary Magdalene (Filipino: Pangdiyosesis na Dambana at Parokya ni Santa Maria Magdalena and Simbahan ng Pililla), also known as Pililla Church, is a Roman Catholic church located in the municipality of Pillila, Province of Rizal, Philippines. The church was built by the Franciscans in 1583, under the patronage of Saint Mary Magdalene. It is a few kilometers away from San Ildefonso Parish Church, a historical church in Tanay. On January 16, 1977, the National Historical Commission of the Philippines unveiled the historical marker of St. Mary Magdalene Parish Church.On July 22, 2018, the parish church was declared a diocesan shrine.

Pililla (), officially the Municipality of Pililla (Tagalog: Bayan ng Pililla), is a 1st class municipality in the province of Rizal, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 71,535 people. It is surrounded by farms, small mountains, plains, and trees. Pililla is known as the Green Field Municipality of Rizal. Tanay, officially the Municipality of Tanay (Tagalog: Bayan ng Tanay IPA: [tɐˈnaɪ]), is a 1st class municipality in the province of Rizal, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 139,420 people.Tanay is located 37 kilometres (23 mi) from Antipolo and 54 kilometres (34 mi) from Manila. It contains portions of the Sierra Madre Mountains and is bordered by Antipolo in the north-west, Baras, Morong and Teresa in the west, General Nakar (Quezon Province) in the east, and Pililla, Santa Maria (Laguna province) as well as the lake Laguna de Bay in the south. It is the epicenter of the Tanay Tagalog dialect, which has the deepest modern Tagalog words in the Tagalog language and is the only endangered Tagalog dialect.

A tourist bus carrying 50 passengers, mostly students from Bestlink College of the Philippines in Quezon City who were on a field trip, lost its brakes and crashed into an electricity pole in Tanay, Rizal, killing 15 passengers including the driver. The accident uncovered lax regulations on safety of students on educational trips in the Philippines and prompted the Commission on Higher Education and Department of Education to issue moratoriums on field trips for the 2016–17 school year. After the moratorium, stricter guidelines on off-campus activities were imposed.

The Santa Maria Church or Nuestra Señora de los Angeles Parish Church (also Our Lady of Angels Parish Church) is the only Roman Catholic church in the municipality of Santa Maria, Laguna, Philippines under the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Pablo. Its titular is the Our Lady of Angels whose feast is celebrated every August 2.

The Diocesan Shrine and Parish of St. Joseph, also known as Baras Church, is a Roman Catholic church located in Baras, Rizal, Philippines, where the miraculous centuries-old image of San Jose de Baras (Spanish: El Glorioso Patriarca Señor San José de Baras) is enshrined. The church is known to be the oldest parish dedicated to Saint Joseph in the Southern Tagalog Region.
