Claremont High School is a co-educational public high school in the suburb of Claremont, Cape Town, South Africa, established in 2011 making it the newest addition to the list of schools in the area. It awards the National Senior Certificate. It is locally known for the excellent final year result it manages to produce.

Greenfield Girls' Primary School is a public English medium high school for girls in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa. Founded in 1956, the school was originally known as Claremont Girls’ Primary School but the name was changed later in the same year. The centre opened September 7, 1972.Current anchors include Woolworths South Africa, Cotton On, H&M, Mr Price, Pick n Pay, and Ster-Kinekor Theatres (Including a loyalty club and a D-Box cinema). It also hosts the Made in the Cape artisans market. The investment firm Old Mutual, through their subsidiary Old Mutual Property, are the current owners of Cavendish Square.

Livingstone High School is a school in the Western Cape of South Africa. It was founded by Abdullah Abdurahman in 1926. As of August 2017 Theodore Bruinders was the school's principal, currently the Acting Principal is Mr D.R. Niekerk. Ashley van de Horn is currently the deputy principal.The principal who has been serving the school was Mr Najaar before he had retired. In 2021 the current acting principal is Mrs. Ganie

The area is also commonly referred to as the Cape Peninsula, often including the towns further South such as Fish Hoek.

Wynberg Boys' High School is a public English medium boys high school situated in the suburb of Wynberg of Cape Town in the Western Cape province of South Africa. Founded in 1841, it is one of the best academic schools in Cape Town, it is believed by scholars and old boys to be the second oldest school in South Africa, however, there are several schools that were established at earlier dates as far back as 1738.

Harfield Village, also known as Lower Claremont, is a suburb in the south of Cape Town. Its neighbouring suburbs are Kenilworth and Claremont, Cape Town. Prior to the apartheid era Group Areas Act the area was home to around 19,000 Coloured residents. All of whom were evicted or forced to sell their property when the area was declared a whites only area in 1969. Victorian and Edwardian cottages decorate the tree-lined, numbered avenues, and English sounding streets with names like Surrey, Norfolk and Suffolk. Many of these are semi-detached and make perfect starter homes, and there is a real village feel to the little area that manages to hide itself obscurely on the other side of the railway line and Main Road from Arderne Gardens. It fits snugly up against Harfield station on the major commuter train into Cape Town. Harfield Village probably got its name from the original Harfield Cottage, built here by Thomas Mathew, one of the initial residents of Claremont.

Sans Souci Girls' High School is a Public English medium high school for girls situated in the suburb of Newlands in Cape Town in the Western Cape province of South Africa. The school was established in 1960 and was decreed by the apartheid era South African government as whites only school. In 1991 the school opened enrollment to all races as a model B school.One of the school's former teacher’s Denise Frick, is a South African chess master and winner of the 2015 South African Woman's Closed Chess Championships.

Michael Oak Waldorf School is a co-educational Waldorf school in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa.
