Magheralin (from Irish Machaire Lainne, meaning 'plain of the church') is a village and civil parish in County Down, Northern Ireland. It is on the main A3 road between Moira and Lurgan, beside the River Lagan. It had a population of 1,337 people in the 2011 Census. The civil parish of Magheralin covers areas of County Armagh and County Down.Its original name was Lann Rónáin Fhinn, "church of Ronan Finn", a saint from the famous tale Buile Shuibhne (The Madness of Sweeney).

Dollingstown Football Club is an intermediate-level football club from Dollingstown, County Down, Northern Ireland. The club currently competes in the NIFL Premier Intermediate League and their home ground is Planters Park in Dollingstown, which has a capacity of approximately 750 people. The manager of the club is Stephen Uprichard and the club was founded in 1979 by local football fans.With the club's founding, the club applied to join the Mid-Ulster Football League and were accepted into Division 5. Dollingstown won their first trophy, the John Magee Cup, in the 1992/93 season under the management of Colin McCullough. In the 2010–11 season, the club was denied promotion to the IFA Championship 2 for playing an ineligible player in eight league matches. The club lost the points gained through these games, and appealed the decision in court, however it was dismissed.In 2019, the club marked their 40th anniversary.

The A3 is a major road in Northern Ireland. It travels through County Antrim, County Down, County Armagh and parts of southern County Fermanagh. The route branches off the A1, and from the start of the route at Lisburn to the border near Middletown, County Armagh, it is a primary route. The A3 is also the designated road number for the sections of the Irish N54 secondary route which lie in Northern Ireland. These sections carry secondary route status.

In the 2011 Census it had a population of 2,103 people. Dollingstown is in the townland of Taughrane, which may come from Irish Tóchar Rathain ("causeway of bracken").

Pritchard's Bridge station was constructed by the Ulster Railway between Moira and Lurgan on 01/10/1842; closure is presumed in 1844? The site of the station is on the mainline of the Belfast-Newry Line and Dublin Connolly Line.

Waringstown (Irish: Baile an Bhairínigh) is a large village in County Down, Northern Ireland. It lies southeast of Lurgan, within the parish of Donaghcloney, and the barony of Iveagh Lower, Lower Half. In the 2011 Census it had a population of 3,683 people. Over the years, the village has been bestowed numerous awards, including "Best Kept Small Town" for its floral displays and pleasant appearance.

Donaghcloney or Donacloney (from Irish Domhnach Cluana, meaning 'church of the meadow') is a village, townland (of 300 acres) and civil parish in County Down, Northern Ireland. It lies on the River Lagan between Lurgan and Dromore. In the 2011 census it had a population of 1701. It is colloquially referred to as "The 'Cloney" by locals.

Moira (from Irish Maigh Rath, meaning 'plain of the streams or wheels') is a village and civil parish in County Down, Northern Ireland. It is in the northwest of the county, near the border with counties Antrim and Armagh. The M1 motorway and Belfast–Dublin railway line are nearby. The population was 4,591 at the 2011 Census.

Waringstown House is a 17th-century Grade A listed building located in the village of Waringstown, County Down, Northern Ireland. As the oldest unfortified mansion house in Ireland, it was home to family of the place's namesake, William Waring, who founded the village. Today the building remains the home of the family's descendants.

Gamblestown is a small village in County Down, Northern Ireland about 1.5 km from Donaghcloney, on the Lurgan to Dromore road. It is situated in the Parish of Magheralin and the townland of Clogher. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 159 people. It is situated to the southeast of the Craigavon Borough Council area. The village is largely composed of residential development, a church hall and some retail warehousing, but is without other facilities.

Annaghanoon (from Irish Eanach an Uain 'marsh of the lamb') is a rural townland in County Down, Northern Ireland. It has an area of 626.03 acres (2.53 km2). It is situated in the civil parish of Donaghcloney and the historic barony of Iveagh Lower, Upper Half, located 1 mile west of Donaghcloney. It lies within the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council.
