Waringstown

Waringstown House is a 17th-century Grade A listed building located in the village of Waringstown, County Down, Northern Ireland. As the oldest unfortified mansion house in Ireland, it was home to family of the place's namesake, William Waring, who founded the village. Today the building remains the home of the family's descendants.

It is situated in the civil parish of Donaghcloney and the historic barony of Iveagh Lower, Upper Half, located 1 mile west of Donaghcloney. It lies within the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council.

Dollingstown Football Club is an intermediate-level football club from Dollingstown, County Down, Northern Ireland. The club currently competes in the NIFL Premier Intermediate League and their home ground is Planters Park in Dollingstown, which has a capacity of approximately 750 people. The manager of the club is Stephen Uprichard and the club was founded in 1979 by local football fans.With the club's founding, the club applied to join the Mid-Ulster Football League and were accepted into Division 5. Dollingstown won their first trophy, the John Magee Cup, in the 1992/93 season under the management of Colin McCullough. In the 2010–11 season, the club was denied promotion to the IFA Championship 2 for playing an ineligible player in eight league matches. The club lost the points gained through these games, and appealed the decision in court, however it was dismissed.In 2019, the club marked their 40th anniversary.

Dollingstown is a large village in County Down, Northern Ireland, lying between Lurgan and Magheralin. It is within the Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon district. In the 2011 Census it had a population of 2,103 people. Dollingstown is in the townland of Taughrane, which may come from Irish Tóchar Rathain ("causeway of bracken").

The A3 is a major road in Northern Ireland. It travels through County Antrim, County Down, County Armagh and parts of southern County Fermanagh. The route branches off the A1, and from the start of the route at Lisburn to the border near Middletown, County Armagh, it is a primary route. The A3 is also the designated road number for the sections of the Irish N54 secondary route which lie in Northern Ireland. These sections carry secondary route status.

Gibson's Hill or Corcreeny (from Irish Corr Chríonaigh, meaning 'round hill of dry branches') is a small village in the townland of Corcreeny in County Armagh, Northern Ireland, about 1.5 km from Lurgan. It lies on the main Lurgan to Gilford road. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 186 people. It is within the Craigavon Borough Council area. The village has limited community facilities. Lakeview House, to the east, and the area around it, are an attractive landscape and historic feature. It is a two-storey, late-19th-century house, approached through a beech tree avenue.

Pollock Park is a cricket ground in Lurgan, Northern Ireland. In 1999, the ground hosted a first-class match between Ireland and the touring South Africa Academy team, with the match ending in a draw. In 2005, the ground hosted two List A matches in the 2005 ICC Trophy. The first of these was between Uganda and the United States, which resulted in a Ugandan victory by 6 wickets, The second saw Uganda play the UAE, which resulted in a 63 run victory for the UAE.

Ballymacmaine (from Irish Baile Mhic Mhiacháin 'MacMiacháin's townland') is a small village and townland in County Down, Northern Ireland. it is between Dollingstown and Magheralin, on the A3 route from Lurgan to Moira. In the 2001 Census it had a population of 57 people. It is within Craigavon Borough Council area. It is a small settlement with several non-residential land uses, including commercial, recreational and community facilities.

Donaghcloney or Donacloney (from Irish Domhnach Cluana, meaning 'church of the meadow') is a village, townland (of 300 acres) and civil parish in County Down, Northern Ireland. It lies on the River Lagan between Lurgan and Dromore. In the 2011 census it had a population of 1701. It is colloquially referred to as "The 'Cloney" by locals.

Mourneview Park is a football stadium in Lurgan, County Armagh, Northern Ireland, and is the home ground of NIFL Premiership club Glenavon. The stadium holds 4,160 and was originally built in 1895. The 2008–09 Irish League Cup, 2010–11 Irish League Cup and 2020-21 Irish Cup finals were held at the stadium.
