Tate's Cairn

Gilwell Campsite (Chinese: 基維爾營地) a major campsite run by the Scout Association of Hong Kong for wild camping and other scouting activities in the Kowloon Peak (Fei Ngo Shan) area in New Kowloon, Hong Kong The campsite is near MacLehose Trail with road access through an unnamed road that joins with Fei Ngo Shan Road. Its altitude is 430 m (1,410 ft) above sea level. A few minutes walk from the site, there are viewpoints over Kowloon, the Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island. The campsite is managed by Kowloon Region. The campsite is located within the boundaries of Sha Tin District, very close to its borders with Wong Tai Sin District and Sai Kung District, and much closer to Tung Yeung Shan rather than the summit of Kowloon Peak, which is about 1.7 kilometres (1.1 mi) to the south.

Tung Shan (Chinese: 東山; Cantonese Yale: dūng shāan; lit. 'East Mountain') is a mountain between Tate's Cairn and Kowloon Peak in Kowloon, Hong Kong. Its summit is 544 m (1,818 ft) high.

Kwun Yam Shan (Chinese: 觀音山) is a village in Sha Tin District, Hong Kong.

Tung Yeung Shan (Chinese: 東洋山; lit. 'East Ocean Mountain') is a mountain in Hong Kong at 533 metres (1,749 ft) in height. It is close to Tate's Cairn, one of the peaks of the Kowloon Ridge.Stage 4 of the Wilson Trail passes over the mountain, while stage 4 of MacLehose Trail passes just below the summit of this peak to the north.

Tate's Cairn Tunnel is a four-lane road tunnel in Hong Kong. Constructed as part of Route 2, it links Diamond Hill, New Kowloon with Siu Lek Yuen, Sha Tin, New Territories East. It opened on 26 June 1991. Its toll plaza is situated on the Sha Tin side, leading to Tate's Cairn Highway, Sha Lek Highway and various local roads. The tunnel joins the Kwun Tong Bypass and is connected with Lung Cheung Road and Hammer Hill Road and several local roads on the Kowloon side. Tate's Cairn Tunnel is the third longest road tunnel in the New Territories and in Hong Kong, and the second longest over land, with the northbound tube having a length of 3,913 metres (2.43 mi) and southbound tube having a length of 3,945 metres (2.45 mi), after Tuen Mun–Chek Lap Kok Tunnel (at 3.1 miles (4.99 km)) and Lung Shan Tunnel (3 miles (4.83 km)) – It was the longest when it opened.

Temple Hill, also known as Tsz Wan Shan (Chinese: 慈雲山), is a hill between New Kowloon and the New Territories, Hong Kong. It peaks at 488 m. Beneath its south side is the residential area of Tsz Wan Shan and Buddhist temples. Sha Tin Pass runs between the hill and Unicorn Ridge. The summit of the hill is located within Sha Tin District.

Cheung Shan (Chinese: 象山; lit. 'Elephant Mountain'), also known as Middle Hill, is a mountain in Hong Kong at 585 metres (1,919 ft) in height. Located to the north of Kowloon Peak (Fei Ngo Shan) and to the south of Tung Shan, it falls within the Ma On Shan Country Park and straddles the border between Wong Tai Sin and Sai Kung districts.
