The Vernon Fitzhugh House is a historic house at 1551 East Hope Street in Fayetteville, Arkansas. It is a T-shaped, two-story building, built of brown brick with extensive use of single-pane glass windows and French doors. The house was built in 1962 to a design by Arkansas architect Warren Segraves, and is a good example of Mid-Century Modern residential architecture, with its deep overhanging eaves, and unusual placement and size of its windows. It was built for Vernon Fitzhugh, owner of a local business services company.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017.

Happy Hollow Farm is a historic house at 2099 Aqua Crossing in Fayetteville, Arkansas. It is a large single-story log house, shaped in an H, with a broad flared hip roof. The logs are stacked and held in place with spikes, rather than being notched at the corners. The property also includes a small log milk house and a stone cottage, all contemporaneous to the house's 1909-10 construction. The house was built by writer William Rheen Lighton, who made a reputation writing for major periodicals including the Saturday Evening Post, and published several novels and non-fiction books, including one named Happy Hollow Farm that romanticized life on an Arkansas farm.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

The Jackson House is a historic house at 1617 North Jordan Lane in Fayetteville, Arkansas. It is a 2+1⁄2-story L-shaped brick building, three bays wide, with a cross gable roof and a single-story ell extending to the north. A single-story portico shelters the main entrance of the south-facing facade, supported by two square columns, with a balustrade above. A small round window is located in the gable end of the main facade. The east elevation (which faces the street, has two segmented-arch windows on each level. The house was built in 1866 by Columbus Jackson, whose family lineage is said to include President Andrew Jackson.When the property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, the property included more than 20 acres (8.1 ha) of farmland as an integral part of the listing, as well as a number of outbuildings and the archaeological remains of a slave quarters. The property has now been subdivided, and the house stands in a modern subdivision.

The Skillern House is a historic house at 3470 East Skillern Road in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Built in 1904–05, it is a fine local example of Folk Victorian architecture. It has Queen Anne detailing, including delicate turned porch posts with brackets, and decorative cut shingles in the gables. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

The Dr. James Patrick House is a historic house at 370 North Williams Drive in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Set on a steeply pitched lot on Mount Sequoyah, it is a basically linear single-story structure sited well away from the road to maximize its eastward view. It has a low-pitch roof and is finished in glass and brick. It is functionally divided by a carport near its center, with public rooms on one side and private ones the other. It was built in 1965–66 to a design by Ernie Jacks, who had previously worked with Edward Durell Stone. It is a distinctive local example of Mid-Century Modern architecture, in a neighborhood principally populated with more conventional vernacular buildings of the period.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017.

The Routh-Bailey House is a historic house on Old Wire Road in Fayetteville, Arkansas. It is a two-story brick I-house with Greek Revival styling. Completed about 1850, it is rare within the state as a surviving antebellum brick farmhouse. It was built by Benjamin Routh on land granted to him in 1848 by President Zachary Taylor. When it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989 it was described as being in deteriorated condition. It is located east of Arkansas Highway 265 (from which it may be visible), northwest of a north-to-east bend in Old Wire Road.

The Mount Sequoyah Cottages are a pair of historic summer cabins at 808 and 810 East Skyline Drive in Fayetteville, Arkansas. They were built in the 1920s, around the time that the adjacent Mount Sequoyah Methodist summer camp was developed, and represent a period when the "back to nature" movement was a leading element in the development of summer properties.The cottages were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

The Clack House is a historic house at 725 East Dogwood Lane in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The Prairie School house was designed by John G. Williams, then a professor of architecture at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and founder of its architecture department, and was built in 1954–56. The house was designed for the Clacks with energy efficiency in mind, using hollow cavity masonry walls, while providing expansive views of the city from many windows.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

The Hemingway House and Barn is a historic summer estate at 3310 Old Missouri Road in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The house is a two-story wood-frame gambrel-roofed structure, set in a landscape designed (as were the buildings) by Little Rock architect Charles L. Thompson. The house and barn were built for Elwin Hemingway, a local lawyer. The barn, located just southwest of the house, is believed to be the only architect-designed structure of its type in the state.The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The E. Fay and Gus Jones House is a historic house at 1330 North Hillcrest in Fayetteville, Arkansas. It is a two-story structure, fieldstone on the first level and sheathed in redwood board-and-batten siding on the second, with a broad gabled roof. The house was designed by the architect E. Fay Jones as his family residence, and was completed in 1956. It was the first Jones design to be built, and demonstrated the principles of organic architecture that Jones would espouse through his career. Jones' mentor Frank Lloyd Wright spoke approvingly of the house after visiting it in 1958.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.The house has been recently restored and is now open for limited public tours. The restoration project is a collaboration between the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design and the Tesseract Center for Immersive Environments and Game Design at the University of Arkansas.

The Warren Segraves House is a historic house at 217 Oklahoma Way in Fayetteville, Arkansas. It is a two-story structure, finished in vertical board siding and brick. Its street-facing east facade has small windows, while the western facade is almost all glass, providing view over the valley to the west. The house was built in 1959 to a design by Arkansas architect Warren Segraves for his family's use, and is a good example of Mid-Century Modern residential architecture. Its most distinctive feature is a series of diamond-shaped panels that give the roof an accordion shape.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2017.
