Hoegi Station is a station on Seoul Subway Line 1, Gyeongchun Line and the Gyeongui-Jungang Line. The two island platforms are side-by-side with each other, and are connected by an overpass. This is the closest station to Kyunghee University, located northwest of here.

Sahmyook Medical Center (formerly Seoul Adventist Hospital) is a large private hospital located in Seoul, South Korea. It admits more than 30,000 patients per year. Sahmyook Medical Center also houses the Sahmyook Children's Hospital, Proton Treatment Center, Transplantation Institute & Liver Center. It is owned and operated by the Korean Union Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.The hospital is the base for the nursing course offered by the Sahmyook University.

Cheongnyangni-dong is a neighbourhood, dong of Dongdaemun-gu in Seoul, South Korea.At this dong, there are many convenient buildings like many kinds of financial companies and banks, a branch of Lotte Department Store, and Cheongnyangni Station. From Cheongnyangni Station, Mugunghwa-ho trains depart for Chuncheon from 06:15 to 22:20 and for Wonju, Jecheon, Taebaek, Gangneung, Yeongju, and Andong from 7:00 to 22:40 every hour except 22:00. There are many kinds of medical hospitals and clinics. Especially, Saint Paul's Hospital of Catholic University of Korea is the largest hospital in Cheongnyangni-dong. In this hospital, there are many treatment rooms in which treats many kinds of diseases, operating theatres and wards.

Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Station is a station on Line 1 of the Gyeongwon Line. The original name of this station was Hwigyeong Station (휘경역; 徽慶驛), although this station is located in Imun 1-dong. Because Hoegi Station (Preceding station) is located in Hwigyeong-dong, in 1996, the name of this station was changed to Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Station, after a nearby eponymous university. Originally the station was built on a 4-way crossroad layout. However in 2012, due to a series of accidents and safety concerns, a tunnel was built under the track for road traffic alongside an above ground pedestrian walkway. Despite this, the ground level crossing remains to this day.

Kyung Hee Cyber University (abbreviated to KHCU) (Korean: 경희사이버대학교; Hanja: 慶熙사이버大學校) is a virtual, South Korean higher education institution that offers online bachelor's and master's degree programs. Cheongnyangni Station (청량리역) is a major train station located at Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, South Korea. It serves as a terminus for passenger trains serving the eastern part of South Korea. KTX, ITX-Cheongchun, and Mugunghwa-ho trains terminates or stops at this station. Several Seoul Metropolitan Subway lines serve the station. These are: Seoul Subway Line 1, the Gyeongchun Line, the Suin-Bundang Line and the Gyeongui-Jungang Line. The Gyeongchun Line extended from Sangbong Station to Cheongnyangni Station in September 2016, offering a transfer to Line 1, although only some services terminate here, with others terminating at Sangbong. A physical transfer between underground and aboveground stations opened on 20 August 2010.Passenger trains serving the following Korail lines terminate at Cheongnyangni Station: The Yeongdong Line and Taebaek Line to Gangneung, in Gangwon Province; The Jungang Line to Andong in North Gyeongsang Province and Busan, to the southeast of Seoul.In addition, this station is served by all ITX trains to/from Chuncheon Station on the Gyeongchun Line. However, the majority of trains do not terminate at this station but continue to Yongsan Station.

Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (abbreviated as HUFS; Korean: 한국외국어대학교) is a private research university based in Seoul, in South Korea. HUFS consistently ranks as one of the best universities in South Korea. The university currently teaches 45 foreign languages. In addition, it contains studies in humanities, law, social sciences, business, medical science, natural sciences, and engineering.

The Graduate Institute of Peace Studies (GIP) was established in 1984 with the aim of training potential world leaders to possess a vision of a new global civil society, and are committed to the promotion of peace and human welfare. GIP is a constituent graduate school at Kyung Hee University. In recognition of the GIP's contribution to international peace efforts, the UNESCO Prize for Peace Education was awarded to GIP in 1993. Cheongnyangni 588 was a red-light district in Seoul, South Korea near Cheongnyangni station. At its peak in the 1980s it housed 200 brothels and 500 prostitutes, and was the largest red-light district in Seoul. Cheongnyangni is often referred to as "Oh Pal Pal", meaning "five eight eight" in Korean possibly due to a bus which once passed through the area.

The university offers a study abroad program in partnership with 434 sister universities in 69 countries.Kyung Hee University is known for its College of Korean Medicine, which is considered a leading school in traditional Korean medicine and other traditional Asian medical practices.

Korea University Business School (hereafter called KUBS) is the business school of Korea University in Seoul, South Korea. KUBS was the first university department in Korea not only to open its doors to business studies but also to introduce western-style business studies to Korea. The school offers an undergraduate program, full-time and part-time MBA programs, MS/PhD programs, as well as few other non-degree programs. KUBS received Korea's first accreditation from AACSB in 2005 and EQUIS in 2007, respectively.

The Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS) is an advanced research institute in South Korea. It is located on a 30-acre (12 ha) campus in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.KIAS was founded in 1996, aiming to become a world leading research institute where international elite scholars gather and dedicate to fundamental research in basic sciences. Currently, there are three schools in the institute: mathematics, physics, and computational sciences. As of 2016, the institute has 3 distinguished professors, 26 professors, and 133 research fellows.As its name suggests, the institute was modeled after the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey, USA. KIAS is funded by the government and is a subordinate institute of KAIST.
