The Graduate Institute of Peace Studies (GIP) was established in 1984 with the aim of training potential world leaders to possess a vision of a new global civil society, and are committed to the promotion of peace and human welfare. GIP is a constituent graduate school at Kyung Hee University. In recognition of the GIP's contribution to international peace efforts, the UNESCO Prize for Peace Education was awarded to GIP in 1993. Kyung Hee Cyber University (abbreviated to KHCU) (Korean: 경희사이버대학교; Hanja: 慶熙사이버大學校) is a virtual, South Korean higher education institution that offers online bachelor's and master's degree programs. Founded in 2001, it has been recognized as the best cyber university in South Korea by both the Ministry of Education and the Korea Management Association.Kyung Hee Cyber University is part of the Kyung Hee University System which offers comprehensive education from kindergarten through graduate school. The cyber university along with the programs it offers were constructed based on the tradition and knowledge of Kyung Hee University (KHC), a private higher education institution with over 70 years of history and expertise.

Korea University Business School (hereafter called KUBS) is the business school of Korea University in Seoul, South Korea. KUBS was the first university department in Korea not only to open its doors to business studies but also to introduce western-style business studies to Korea. The school offers an undergraduate program, full-time and part-time MBA programs, MS/PhD programs, as well as few other non-degree programs. KUBS received Korea's first accreditation from AACSB in 2005 and EQUIS in 2007, respectively.

The Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS) is an advanced research institute in South Korea. It is located on a 30-acre (12 ha) campus in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.KIAS was founded in 1996, aiming to become a world leading research institute where international elite scholars gather and dedicate to fundamental research in basic sciences. Currently, there are three schools in the institute: mathematics, physics, and computational sciences. As of 2016, the institute has 3 distinguished professors, 26 professors, and 133 research fellows.As its name suggests, the institute was modeled after the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey, USA. KIAS is funded by the government and is a subordinate institute of KAIST.

Hongneung Arboretum (Hangul:홍릉수목원 Hanja: 洪陵樹木園) is an arboretum in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, served by Seoul Subway Line 6. The grounds are freely open to the public on weekend, but picnics are not allowed.

The Korea Development Institute (KDI) is a Korean government agency established in 1971 to conduct policy research. KDI has conducted research on a broad range of economic and social issues, including macroeconomics policy, fiscal policy, and labor.

Hoegi Station is a station on Seoul Subway Line 1, Gyeongchun Line and the Gyeongui-Jungang Line. The two island platforms are side-by-side with each other, and are connected by an overpass. This is the closest station to Kyunghee University, located northwest of here.

Sangwolgok Station is a railway station on Seoul Subway Line 6 in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. The Korea Institute of Science and Technology is near this station.

Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Station is a station on Line 1 of the Gyeongwon Line. The original name of this station was Hwigyeong Station (휘경역; 徽慶驛), although this station is located in Imun 1-dong. Because Hoegi Station (Preceding station) is located in Hwigyeong-dong, in 1996, the name of this station was changed to Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Station, after a nearby eponymous university. Originally the station was built on a 4-way crossroad layout. However in 2012, due to a series of accidents and safety concerns, a tunnel was built under the track for road traffic alongside an above ground pedestrian walkway. Despite this, the ground level crossing remains to this day.

Wolgok Station is a railway station on Seoul Subway Line 6 located in Hawolgok-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. Its station subname is Dongduk Women's University, as it is within the vicinity of Dongduk Women's University.
