Norwood Road is a nature reserve managed by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and Peterborough. It lies in the centre of the town of March in the county of Cambridgeshire.

March is a Fenland market town and civil parish in the Isle of Ely area of Cambridgeshire, England. The town grew by becoming an important railway centre. Like many Fenland towns, March was once an island surrounded by marshes. It occupied the second largest "island" in the Great Level. As the land was drained, the town grew and prospered as a trading and religious centre. It was also a minor port before, in more recent times, a market town and an administrative and railway centre. March is situated on the banks of the navigable old course of the River Nene, today mainly used by pleasure boats.

The Avenue Sports Club Ground is a cricket ground in March, Cambridgeshire. The ground was established in 1939, when Cambridgeshire played Suffolk in the grounds first Minor Counties Championship match. From 1935 to the present day, it has hosted 69 Minor Counties matches.The first List-A match played on the ground came in the 1975 Gillette Cup between Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire. From 1975 to 2003, the ground played host to 10 List-A matches, the last of which saw Cambridgeshire play Yorkshire in the 2003 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy.In local domestic cricket, The Avenue Sports Club Ground is the home ground of the March Town Cricket Club who play in the Cambridgeshire & Huntingdonshire Premier League Division 1 and Rutland League Division 2.

Neale-Wade Academy (formerly Neale-Wade Community College) is a secondary school and sixth form with academy status in the market town of March, Cambridgeshire, England. As with many state schools, the current school was the product of a merger of a grammar school and a comprehensive school. The merged school has since grown to become, Fenland's largest secondary school. It was designated Mathematics & Computing specialist status in 2005, and gained academy status in 2013. The current head teacher is Graham Horn who started his role there in 2020.

Dunhams Wood is a privately owned broadleaved woodland that is occasionally open to the public. The area was planted over a period of 6 years starting in 1985. It is located approximately 2 miles (3 km) outside March, Cambridgeshire in Fenland. The area was initially owned by Margaret and Arthur Dunham, who opened the woodlands to the public during the summer. Treasure hunts and other games took place within the wood. A major feature of the wood is the Dunhams Wood Railway. There is a miniature railroad at 7.25-inch (184 mm) gauge with approximately 800 yards (730 m) of track that snakes through the woodland. The woodland has also been used as a venue for various events including wildlife viewing, photography and archery. Margaret and Arthur Dunham were interviewed for the BBC Radio 4 programme Breakfast with a Farmer in 1992. Following the death of Arthur Dunham on 13 January 2013, the woodland was closed to the public and offered for sale. It was sold in August 2014. Although the railway remains in the wood,

Gault Wood is a woodland in Cambridgeshire, England, near the town of March. It covers a total area of 6.51 hectares (16.09 acres). It is owned and managed by the Woodland Trust.

March Elm Road railway station is a proposed station in March, Cambridgeshire, which if successful, the Bramley Line will make as the southern terminus next to Elm Road Crossing. It was part of a branch of the Great Eastern Railway which ran from March to Watlington. The line closed in the 1960s, but a recent idea by the Wisbech and March Bramley Line to restore the line between Wisbech and March may see trains return to route in some form. However, the organisation would need to raise £10,000 to acquire the lease of the line and then set about repairing it to the required railways inspectorate standard. Additional funds to build this and other stations would then need to be raised by the small number of volunteers. No detailed costings for the additional work are available. Elm Road has never had a station before, and this would be the southern terminus to begin with. It is the intention in years to come, to try to get Heritage services into the disused platforms at March Station. At present no business case has been made public to suggest that there is a demand for a heritage railway in this area, nor have any concrete proposals or costings been drawn up to substantiate this scheme.

Waldersea railway station is a proposed station situated on the former Wisbech line from March to Wisbech, and will be the proposed terminal of the railway along the disused trackbed.
