Aufseßplatz station is a Nuremberg U-Bahn station, located on the U1 line. An unused tunnel stub for a connection curve exists south of the station on the side of the north-bound track. This curve was meant as connection to another subway line from Plärrer to Dutzendteich, which never got beyond an early planning stage. Like Plärrer, Hauptbahnhof and the much later Friedrich Ebert Platz orange tiles were used to indicate a possible interchange station. However, as of 2022 only Plärrer and Hauptbahnhof actually are interchange stations between different subway mainlines. While Aufseßplatz is also served by Tram line 5, this is a distinction three other stations (Rathenauplatz station, Frankenstraße station, Wöhrder Wiese station) share in addition to all four "orange tiled" ones.

Nürnberg Hauptbahnhof (German for Nuremberg main station) or Nuremberg Central Station is the main railway station serving the city of Nuremberg in Germany. It is the largest station in north Bavaria and belongs to the 20 stations in the highest category of importance allocated by DB Station&Service. It is a through station with 22 platforms and lies on major north–south and east–west transportation axes. It offers connections to the major German cities of Leipzig, Berlin, Augsburg, Ingolstadt, Munich, Würzburg, Frankfurt and Regensburg, as well as Linz and Vienna in Austria and Prague in the Czech Republic. Over 450 trains stop here daily and more than 200,000 passengers use the station on average every day. It is also a major hub for public transport in Nuremberg. The Hauptbahnhof is located on the southeastern perimeter of Nuremberg's Altstadt, immediately opposite the Königstor (King's Gate) where the streets of Marientorgraben, Frauentorgraben, and Bahnhofstraße meet. The DB Museum, the corporate museum of Deutsche Bahn AG (formerly the Verkehrsmuseum), is close to the station, as is the Staatstheater Nürnberg opera house.

The Kicker Statue is a sculpture created by sculptor Josef Tabachnyk. It stands in front of the new building of the Kicker sport magazine at Badstraße in Nuremberg. It depicts a football player performing a bicycle kick, where the player performs a kick of the ball with his foot above his head. The statue was erected on 22 May 2014 and Toni Schnell (business leader of the Olympia Publishing House), Josef Tabachnyk and numerous employees of the Kicker sport magazine were present. The green granite symbolises the football field, the k is the logo of the magazine Kicker. After overcoming the earth’s gravity, the dynamic figure of the football player The Bicycle Kicker floats in the air.The measurements of the statue are 320x200x140 cm.According to Josef Tabachnyk the ball rises to the peak of the foot, as it is above all "a symbol of the spirit of sport, the passion for the beauty of the game, the love of millions for this sport".

St. Martha is a medieval church in the old town of Nuremberg in southern Germany. It is dedicated to Saint Martha. Since 1800 it is a Reformed church, the community of which forms part of the Evangelical Reformed Church (regional church).

The Nuremberg Transport Museum (Verkehrsmuseum Nürnberg) is based in Nuremberg, Germany, and consists of the Deutsche Bahn's own DB Museum and the Museum of Communications (Museum für Kommunikation). It also has two satellite museums at Koblenz-Lützel (the DB Museum Koblenz) and Halle (DB Museum Halle). The Nuremberg Transport Museum is one of the oldest technical history museums in Europe. In February 2007 the official name of the DB Museum became the Company Museum of the Deutsche Bahn AG (Firmenmuseum der Deutschen Bahn AG). It is a milestone on the European Route of Industrial Heritage (ERIH).

Meistersingerhalle is the municipal culture and congress centre of Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany. It is named after the tradition of the Meistersinger (Master singers) in the town, which Wagner reflected in his opera Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg. Completed in 1963, it is a listed historic monument since 2007.

The Staatstheater Nürnberg is a German theatre company in Nuremberg, Bavaria. The theatre is one of four Bavarian state theatres and shows operas, plays, ballets and concerts.

The Nuremberg tramway network (German: Straßenbahnnetz Nürnberg) is a network of tramways forming part of the public transport system in Nuremberg, a city in the federal state of Bavaria, Germany. The system reached the neighboring city of Fürth from its opening year to almost a century later when construction of the U1 subway line led to the withdrawal of tram service to and within Fürth. During that era and referring to it historically in literature or nostalgic activities, the system was known as “Nürnberg-Fürther Straßenbahn“ (Nuremberg-Fürth tramway). For example, a local association dedicated to preserving the history and heritage of the tram network as well as old rolling stock calls itself “Freunde der Nürnberg-Fürther Straßenbahn“ (friends of the Nuremberg Fürth tramway) The system is planned to cross the municipal boundaries of Nuremberg once more, if and when the extension to Erlangen and from there to Herzogenaurach dubbed "Stadtumlandbahn" (or "StUB" for short) opens (see below). The network is operated by Verkehrs-Aktiengesellschaft Nürnberg (VAG), which is a member of the Verkehrsverbund Großraum Nürnberg (VGN; Greater Nuremberg Area Transport Association). The VAG also operates the Nuremberg U-Bahn and local buses while the Deutsche Bahn AG operated Nuremberg S-Bahn also operates within VGN schedules and ticketing rules. As of 2013, the network consisted of five lines, running on a total operational route length of 33 kilometres (21 mi). The network carried 39.152 million passengers annually.
