The Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corporation (独立行政法人石油天然ガス・金属鉱物資源機構, Sekiyu ten'nen gasu kinzoku kōbutsu shigen kikō, JOGMEC), is a Japanese government Independent Administrative Institution which was created in 2004 when the former Japan National Oil Corporation merged with the former Metal Mining Agency of Japan.

The historic main wing was demolished in 2015, with a modern replacement on the site opened in 2019, rebranded as The Okura Tokyo.

Toranomon Hills Station (虎ノ門ヒルズ駅, Toranomon Hiruzu eki) is a railway station in Minato, Tokyo, Japan. The official name of the station was announced on 5 December 2018. The station opened on 6 June 2020. The station is operated by Tokyo Metro. The stations number is H-06.

The National Institute of Natural Sciences (自然科学研究機構, Shizenkagaku kenkyuukikou) (NINS) is an inter-university research institute corporation consisting of five member institutes: the National Astronomical Observatory (NAOJ), the National Institute for fusion Science (NIFS), the National Institute for Basic Biology (NIBB), the National Institute for Physiological Sciences (NIPS), and the Institutes for Molecular Sciences (IMS). NINS was established in April 2004 to bring about further development of the natural sciences in Japan.

Okura Museum of Art (大倉集古館, Ōkura Shūkokan) is a museum in Tokyo, Japan.The museum opened in Toranomon, Tokyo in 1917 to house the collection of pre-modern Japanese and East-Asian Art amassed since the Meiji Restoration by industrialist Ōkura Kihachirō. The museum collection includes some 2,500 works, among which are three National Treasures and twelve Important Cultural Properties.The museum is located within the grounds of the Hotel Okura Tokyo. Closed for renovation since April 1, 2014, the museum reopened alongside the rebuilt hotel in 2019.

Atago (愛宕) is a district of Minato, Tokyo, Japan. It consists of 1-chōme and 2-chōme. As of April 1, 2008, it has a total population of 323.

The Atago Shrine (愛宕神社, Atago Jinja) in Minato, Tokyo, Japan is a Shinto shrine established in 1603 (the eighth year of the Keichō era) on the order of shōgun Tokugawa Ieyasu. The current shrine buildings on the site date from 1958. The shrine is located on Atagoyama, a hill rising 26 meters above sea level. In old times, the shrine had an excellent view of Tokyo, now obscured by high rises. The very steep stairs leading to the shrine are also famous, as they represent success in life. According to legend, a young samurai dared to ride his horse up the stairs to deliver plum blossoms to the shōgun. It took his horse only one minute to get up, but 45 minutes to get down, and the horse was totally exhausted afterwards. This scene is depicted in a painting in the main shrine hall. The shrine was erected to protect the residents from fire, since its formerly excellent view was well suited to watch for fires, and therefore the main Shinto god worshiped in this shrine is the fire god Homusubi no Mikoto. Other gods worshipped are also Mizuhanome no Mikoto (a god of water), Ōyamazumi no Mikoto (a god of mountains) and Yamato Takeru no Mikoto (a god of military).

National Printing Bureau (国立印刷局, Kokuritsu Insatsu-kyoku) (NPB) is a Japanese governmental agency in charge of the production of Japanese paper money, Japanese yen. It also produces various other products, such as postage stamps and the official governmental gazette.

Kamiyachō Station (神谷町駅, Kamiyachō-eki) is a subway station in Minato, Tokyo operated by Tokyo Metro. The Station Number is H-05.

The Embassy of the United States in Tokyo represents the United States in Tokyo, Japan. The current ambassador is Rahm Emanuel, who assumed office on March 25, 2022.The current embassy building was designed by César Pelli and Norma Merrick Sklarek, and was completed in 1976. It succeeded the previous embassy building built on the same property in 1931 by Harold Van Buren Magonigle and Antonin Raymond. The Ambassador's official residence, built together with the then new embassy in 1931, was one of the first buildings specifically built by the US as an Ambassador's residence. It served as the historic meeting place between Emperor Hirohito and General Douglas MacArthur in 1945. In January 2001, the U.S. Department of State authorized the Residence of the U.S. Ambassador to Japan to be labeled an important cultural asset.In August 2021, while visiting Japan for the Tokyo Olympics, First lady Jill Biden dedicated a room in the U.S. ambassador's residence to the late U.S. Sen. Daniel K. Inouye and his wife, Irene.
