Bukhansan National Park

Bukhansan (Korean: 북한산, lit. 'North Han Mountain'), or Bukhan Mountain, is a mountain on the northern periphery of Seoul, South Korea. There are three major peaks, Baegundae 836.5 meters (2,744 ft), Insubong 810.5 meters (2,659 ft), Mangyeongdae 787.0 meters (2,582.0 ft). Because of its height and the fact that it borders a considerable portion of the city, Bukhansan is a major landmark visible from most city districts. The name "Bukhansan" means "mountain north of Han River", referring to the fact that it is the northern border of the city. During the Joseon era, the peaks marked the extreme northern boundary of Seoul. Bukhansan is the highest mountain within Seoul city boundaries. Apart from Bukhansan, there are seven other mountains including Dobongsan and Suraksan that are over 600 meters high within the city.Popular throughout the year, Bukhansan, and Bukhansan National Park, which was formed in 1983, are renowned for birdwatching, hiking and rockclimbing. Bukhansan attracts a large number of hikers; around 5 million per year.

Doseonsa is a Buddhist temple of the Jogye Order in Seoul, South Korea. It is located at 264 Ui-dong, in the Gangbuk-gu area of the city and is the largest temple complex on Bukhansan, the most prominent mountain north of Seoul. The temple was dedicated in 862, though none of its original structures survive.

The Bukhansanseong (Korean: 북한산성, "fortress of the mountains north of the Han") is a fortress located in Gyeonggi-do and Seoul, South Korea, dating back to the middle Joseon period. The present fort was completed in 1711, though plans for the structure date back to 1659. The name is also given to a fortress mentioned in the Samguk Sagi, constructed by Gaeru of Baekje in 132 CE, and the two are often conflated although the putative connection is contested. The modern Bukhansanseong was built to protect the approach to Seoul, filling a gap in Korea's defences that had become apparent during the second Manchu invasion of 1636 and the earlier Imjin War. The Bukhansanseong was used as a royal retreat in emergencies, and contains 120 rooms.

The Onggi Folk Museum, located in Seoul, South Korea is a private museum specializing in onggi, Korean earthenware which is used for storage and utilitarian purposes. It was established as the Goryeo Folk Museum (고려민속박물관) in 1991 and later was changed to the current name. The museum consists of three-story building and an outdoor exhibition hall where 3,300 items of onggi and other items such as dancheong patterns, Korean traditional decorative coloring used for building are exhibited.

Dobongsan (Korean: 도봉산) is a mountain in Bukhansan National Park, South Korea. It extends across Seoul, the national capital, and the cities of Yangju and Uijeongbu, in the province of Gyeonggi-do. It has an elevation of 739.5 m (2,426 ft). Nearby Dobongsan Station is named after it.It is known for the magnificent rock formations of the Manjang-bong, Seonin-bong, Ju-bong, O-bong and Uiam-bong Peaks. The Seonin-bong summit has 37 hiking courses connecting to it, including the famous Bakjwi (Bat) Course. The mountain is also home to Cheonchuk-sa Buddhist Temple, the oldest temple in the region, and several other temples including Mangwol-sa, Wonhyo-sa and Hoeryong-sa, as well as a number of beautiful valleys called Donong, Songchu, Obong and Yeongeo-cheon. Furthermore, it is easily accessible by public transportation.

Insu-dong is a dong, neighbourhood of Gangbuk-gu in Seoul, South Korea. From 30 June 2008, the former Suyu-5 and 6 dong were combined to form this dong.

Hana Academy Seoul (also known as Hana High School, Hangeul: 하나고) is a private high school located in Seoul, South Korea. Gangbuk District (Gangbuk-gu) is one of the 25 gu which make up the city of Seoul, South Korea. Its name is derived from it being located at the north of Han river. It was created from neighbouring Dobong District (도봉구) in 1995. The current mayor is Park Gyeom-su(박겸수).

Suyu Station (Korean: 수유역; Hanja: 忠烈祠驛) is an underground station on the Seoul Subway Line 4 in Suyu-dong, Gangbuk-gu, Seoul, South Korea.

Seoul Cyber University (SCU) (Korean: 서울사이버대학교) is a Korean online university. SCU is located in Seoul, South Korea, where it has approximately 11,000 enrolled students and 100 faculty members among 9 schools. It has 19 departments. Shinil High School is a secondary school in Seoul, South Korea. It was founded in 1966, and has been designated as an autonomous private school by the Ministry of Education since 2009.
