Hayling Billy

Stoke is a village on Hayling Island in the Havant district, in the county of Hampshire, England. The village lies on the Havant A3023 road between North Hayling and South Hayling. The village is closest to Langstone Harbour, opposite the city of Portsmouth.

Fleet is a hamlet near Stoke on Hayling Island in Hampshire, England. The hamlet lies approximately 5.1 miles (8.2 km) east from Portsmouth and 1.6 miles (2.6 km) north from South Hayling.

Havant () is a constituency in Hampshire represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2015 by Alan Mak, a member of the Conservative Party. He is the first person of Chinese and East Asian origin to be elected to the House of Commons.

North Hayling station was a halt on the single track Hayling Island branch, most often used to load oysters caught by local fishermen, but also ornithologists and ramblers. The station, along with the line was closed, in 1963. The station was located on the west coast of Hayling Island, very close to the coast. The station was very basic, with a timber concourse and wooden shelter. The station has been demolished and a section of the trackbed is now a footpath.

West Hayling is a 76.2-hectare (188-acre) Local Nature Reserve on Hayling Island in Hampshire. It is owned by Havant Borough Council and managed by the council and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. It is part of Langstone Harbour, which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest. It is also part of Solent Maritime Special Area of Conservation and of Chichester and Langstone Harbours Ramsar site and Special Protection Area.This site has large areas of intertidal mudflats and lagoons with vast numbers of marine invertebrates, which provide food for tens of thousands of wintering and breeding birds.

Hayling Island is an island off the south coast of England, in the borough of Havant in the county of Hampshire, east of Portsmouth.

The Staunton Way is a 20.5 mile recreational circular walk in Hampshire, southern England, that connects Queen Elizabeth Country Park to Staunton Country Park. The route passes through the villages of Chalton, Finchdean and Rowlands Castle. It is waymarked with the picture of a roe deer and a green arrow. At Queen Elizabeth Country Park the walk connects to the South Downs Way and Hangers Way. At Rowland's Castle the path crosses the Monarch's Way. Sections of this walk also form part of the Sussex Border Path and Shipwrights Way. Originally a linear path extending to the coast, some sections have now been subsumed by, or shared with, the Shipwrights Way.

The Hayling College (formerly The Hayling School) is a coeducational foundation secondary school, located on Hayling Island in the English county of Hampshire.It is administered by Hampshire County Council, which coordinates the schools admissions. It has also gained specialist status as a Maths and Computing College.

Hayling Island (called South Hayling until 1892) was a station on Hayling Island in southeastern Hampshire, England. It was opened for passengers in 1867 as the terminus of the four and a half mile Hayling Island branch, a single track line from Havant which transported holidaymakers to the resort until its closure in 1963.The station had a small wooden coal stage used to refill the bunkers of the A1X steam locomotives working the branch. Goods services, including wagons of coal for the locomotives, continued until the last day of operation. The only part of the station remaining today is the former goods shed which was incorporated into a theatre, and is a landmark on one end of the Hayling Billy Trail.

Hayling United Football Club is a football club based on Hayling Island in Hampshire, England. The club is affiliated to the Hampshire Football Association, and is a FA Charter Standard club. The Humbugs were founded in 1884 as Hayling Island, but changed their name in the early seventies to the present name. The club currently play in the Hampshire Premier League Senior Division.

Langstone Harbour is a 2,085.4-hectare (5,153-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Hampshire. It is an inlet of the English Channel in Hampshire, sandwiched between Portsea Island to the south and west, Hayling Island to the south and east, and Langstone to the north. It is part of the Ramsar site of Langstone and Chichester Harbour Special Protection Area and Nature Conservation Review site. Parts are Special Areas of Conservation, or Local Nature Reserves, and some areas by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust. Historically, the harbour has been used for salt and sand production, as well as fishing and latterly leisure boating. A ferry across the mouth of the harbour has been in operation for more than 200 years.
