Gabriel's Landing

Mount Lebanon Chapel and Cemetery, also known as Lebanon Chapel, is a historic Episcopal chapel and cemetery located on the grounds of Airlie Gardens in Wilmington, New Hanover County, North Carolina. It was built about 1835, and is a one-story, three bay by three bay, gable-roofed, rectangular building in a vernacular Greco-Gothic. It measures 26 feet wide and 37 feet deep, and is sheathed in weatherboard. It was restored in 1974. The cemetery contains 138 burials dating from 1815 to 2016. It is the oldest known surviving church in New Hanover County.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Bradley-Latimer Summer House is a historic home located at Wrightsville Beach, New Hanover County, North Carolina. It was built about 1855, and is a picturesque, two-story, three bays wide by two bays deep, hipped-roof dwelling. It features a broad, one-story veranda encompassing the entire structure.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

New Hanover County Arboretum - NC Cooperative Extension is a 7-acre arboretum at 6206 Oleander Drive, Wilmington, North Carolina. It is open daily without charge. The arboretum was formally opened in 1989, and is still under development. It currently contains 33 gardens including an aquatic garden, children's garden, herb garden, Japanese garden, and rose garden. It is said to contain more than 4,000 varieties of native and naturalized plants, with many of its original plants given by J. C. Raulston, North Carolina State University horticulturist and namesake for the JC Raulston Arboretum.

Wrightsville Beach is a town in New Hanover County, North Carolina, United States. Wrightsville Beach is just east of Wilmington and is part of the Wilmington Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 2,477 at the 2010 census. The town consists of a 4-mile (6 km) long beach island, an interior island called Harbor Island, and pockets of commercial property on the mainland. It served as a filming location of Dawson's Creek.

James D. and Frances Sprunt Cottage is a historic beach cottage located at Wrightsville Beach, New Hanover County, North Carolina. It was built in 1937, and is an elevated two-story, three-bay frame cottage. It features a gable-front roof with exposed rafter tails, a main-level porch with an upper deck, and a double-tier wraparound porch. The ground level includes a two-car garage.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

Masonboro Inlet is an inlet in New Hanover County, North Carolina, separating the town of Wrightsville Beach from Masonboro Island. The inlet was used as a hideout by Confederate blockade runners during the Civil War. The blockade runners would hide in the inlet until nightfall, then sail to the nearby port of Wilmington in the cover of darkness.

The district developed during the 19th and early-20th century and includes notable examples of Italian Renaissance and Colonial Revival style architecture. There are 10 contributing dwellings and 13 contributing outbuildings. Notable dwellings include the Carr-Ormand House (1932), Willard-Sprunt-Woolvin House (1880), Cazaux-Williams-Crow House (Halcyon Hall, 1877, 1880s, 1937), Parsley-Love House (Hickory Hill, 1885, 1912), Live Oaks (1913), Taylor-Bissinger House (1937), the "Doll House" (1924), and Hill-Anderson Cottage (c. 1835).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
