Grubb Springs School

The Harrison High School is a public high school serving ninth through twelve grade students in Harrison, Arkansas, United States. The Old Harrison High School was built in 1912 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007. It was designed by architects Harry C. Schwebke and R.D. Pollard in Prairie School and International Style architecture. The building served as the high school until 1952 before becoming the junior high through 1987. Soon thereafter, the site continues to serve the community as the Boone County Heritage Museum operated by the Boone County Historical and Railroad Society.

Harrison Township is a former township of Boone County, Arkansas, USA. Its last appearance on the US Census was in 1930. Today, much of the city of Harrison is in the townships of North Harrison and South Harrison.

South Harrison Township is one of twenty current townships in Boone County, Arkansas, USA. As of the 2010 census, its total population was 7,590. Although the township includes a significant portion of the city of Harrison, it also encompasses rural areas. Prior to 1950, this township, along with North Harrison Township, were part of a single Harrison Township. Boundary lines may have been different between the former single Harrison Township and the two modern day townships.

The Duncan House is a historic house in 610 West Central Avenue in Harrison, Arkansas. It is a 1+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure, with asymmetrical massing and a busy roofline typical of the Queen Anne style. Distinctive features include metal cresting on the ridge lines, and a wraparound porch with tapered columns and turned balustrade. An octagonal cupola caps the roof. The house was built in 1893 by William Duncan, a local builder, for his own use. It is one of Harrison's few remaining houses of the period which has retained its Queen Anne features.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Harrison School District No. 1 is a public school district in Boone County, Arkansas, United States which serves the city of Harrison along with other unincorporated areas within the county. The Harrison School District serves one large contiguous area and a smaller non-contiguous area in the southeast portion of the county. It also includes a section of Newton County.

The city of Harrison is the county seat of Boone County, Arkansas, United States. It is named after Marcus LaRue Harrison, a surveyor who laid out the city along Crooked Creek at Stifler Springs. According to 2019 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city was 13,069, up from 12,943 at the 2010 census and it is the 30th largest city in Arkansas based on official 2019 estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau. Harrison is the principal city of the Harrison Micropolitan Statistical Area, which includes all of Boone and Newton counties. The community has a history of racism: there were two race riots in the early 20th century and an influx of white supremacist organizations during the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Because of this, a number of sources have called it "the most racist town in the United States".

Crooked Creek Township was a township in Boone County, Arkansas, United States. Named for Crooked Creek, its last appearance was on the United States Census of 1930.

The Evans-Kirby House is a historic house at 611 South Pine Street in Harrison, Arkansas. It is a two-story wood-frame structure on a sandstone foundation, with a busy roofline and asymmetrical massing typical of the Queen Anne style. The roof is punctuated with five dormers of different sizes and shapes, and the walls are finished with clapboards and decoratively-cut shingles. The porch is adorned with spindled friezes and brackets. The property also includes a period barn/carriage house and garage, the latter over an original smoke cellar. The house was built in 1895 for Dr. E.L. Evans, who sold it in 1906 to his brother-in-law, Dr. Frank Kirby.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Also known as Boone County Regional Airport, it is four miles northwest of Harrison, Arkansas and serves the surrounding areas including Branson, Missouri. It is used for general aviation and sees one airline, a service subsidized by the federal government's Essential Air Service program at a cost of $2,251,207 per year.The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2021–2025 categorized it as a national/regional airport (the commercial service category requires at least 2,500 enplanements per year).Central Airlines served Harrison starting in 1957; successor Frontier Airlines continued into the 1970s.

The Boone County Jail is a historic jail building at Central Ave. and Willow St. in Harrison, Arkansas. It is a two-story red brick building, built in 1914. Its design has been attributed to prominent Arkansas architect Charles L. Thompson. Its hip roof is finished in red tile, as is the roof of the single-story porch sheltering the main entrance. The jail was laid out to house the jailer on the first floor, and the prisoners on the second.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976 for its architecture.

Capps is an unincorporated community in Boone County, Arkansas, United States. Capps is located on Arkansas Highway 392, 4.6 miles (7.4 km) west of Harrison.

The Marine Corps Legacy Museum was located on the northwest corner of the Town Square in Harrison, Arkansas, United States. It closed in 2010.
