Dell Technologies Championship

TPC Boston is a private golf club in the Greater Boston area, located in Norton, Massachusetts, approximately 25 miles (40 km) southwest of Boston.

The Xfinity Center (originally the Great Woods Center for the Performing Arts and commonly Great Woods) is an outdoor amphitheatre located in Mansfield, Massachusetts. The venue opened during the summer of 1986 with a capacity of 12,000. It was expanded after 2000 to 19,900; 7,000 reserved seats, 7,000 lawn seats and 5,900 general admission seats. The season for the venue is typically from mid May until late September. In 2010, it was named Top Grossing Amphitheater by Billboard. It mainly hosts concerts; other events, such as graduation ceremonies, including that of Mansfield High School, occasionally take place.

Massachusetts's 4th congressional district is located mostly in southern Massachusetts. It is represented by Democrat Jake Auchincloss. Auchincloss was first elected in 2020. The district covers much of the area included in the 10th district before the 1992 redistricting. In prior years, the district stretched from Brookline to Fitchburg. The shape of the district underwent some changes effective from the elections of 2012, after Massachusetts congressional redistricting to reflect the 2010 census. Most of Plymouth County and the South Coast are included in the new 9th district. The new 4th district has expanded westward to include towns along the Rhode Island border that had been in the old 3rd district. For a very brief time (1793–95) it represented part of the District of Maine.

The Fisher–Richardson House is a historic house at 354 Willow Street in Mansfield, Massachusetts. Built between 1743 and 1751, it is considered to be the town's second oldest house. The house was restored in 1930, and is now a local history museum.

Mansfield Municipal Airport (FAA LID: 1B9) is a public airport located 2 mi (1.7 nmi; 3.2 km) southeast of the central business district of Mansfield, a town in Bristol County, Massachusetts, United States. During World War II, the airfield was Naval Outlying Landing Field Mansfield.It is a community airport located 1 mi (1.6 km) from the Xfinity Center. The airport offers flight training, fuel, etc.

The Norton Reservoir is a lake/reservoir/pond within the towns of Norton and Mansfield, in southeastern Massachusetts. The Rumford River empties out into the reservoir.

Norton High School is Norton, Massachusetts' only public high school. Built in 1973, it underwent renovations that began in June 2011 and were completed in December 2013.

Spring Brook Cemetery is an historic cemetery on Spring Street in Mansfield, Massachusetts. It was established in 1860 as a private cemetery on a 4-acre (1.6 ha) parcel of land, and has grown over time to 22 acres (8.9 ha), and is now the largest of Mansfield's cemeteries. The area appears to have been used as a cemetery before its formal establishment; there are a number of graves that predate 1850, the oldest of which is marked 1790. The most prominent structure in the cemetery is the Card Memorial Chapel, designed by Charles Eastman and built in 1898 with funding from Simon and Mary Card, in memory of their daughter Lulu.The cemetery was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

Norton is a town in Bristol County, Massachusetts, United States, and contains the villages of Norton Center and Chartley. The population was 19,202 at the 2020 census. Home of Wheaton College, Norton hosts the Dell Technologies Championship, a tournament of the PGA Tour held annually on the Labor Day holiday weekend at the TPC Boston golf club.

The Norton Center Historic District is a historic district encompassing the town center and adjacent Wheaton College campus in Norton, Massachusetts. It includes the town's major civic buildings, as well as its oldest surviving house, in a spacious New England town center organized around the town common at the junction of Massachusetts Routes 123 and 140. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Shpack Landfill is a hazardous waste site in Norton, Massachusetts. After assessment by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) it was added to the National Priorities List in October 1986 for long-term remedial action. The site cleanup is directed by the federal Superfund program. The Superfund site covers 9.4 acres, mostly within Norton, with 3.4 acres in the adjoining city of Attleboro. The Norton site was operated as a landfill dump accepting domestic and industrial wastes, including low-level radioactive waste, between 1946 and 1965. The source of most of the radioactive waste, consisting of uranium and radium, was Metals and Controls Inc. which made enriched uranium fuel elements for the U.S. Navy under contract with the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission. Metals and Controls merged with Texas Instruments in 1959. The Shpack landfill operation was shut down by a court order in 1965.
