Cottingley railway station serves the Cottingley and Churwell areas of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It lies 3 miles (5 km) south west of Leeds on the Huddersfield Line. It is the nearest railway station to Leeds United F.C.'s Elland Road stadium. White Rose railway station is planned 2,460 feet (750 m) south of Cottingley station, to open in 2023 and following a review, West Yorkshire Combined Authority has decided that Cottingley station will subsequently close on the grounds of its inaccessibility and that White Rose station will be better connected to businesses and places of education.

White Rose is a planned railway station between Cottingley and Morley railway stations on the Huddersfield Line. It was featured in the Government's plans for the railway in November 2017 and in July 2018 further details were revealed as part of the Connecting Leeds Vision with the consultation inviting opinions from the general public. It is anticipated by the developers that Cottingley railway station will close due to the proximity of the two stations.

Cottingley Towers & Cottingley Heights are twin high-rise towers of rented-flat accommodation on top of a hill in Cottingley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Cottingley Towers & Cottingley Heights were previously the tallest residential buildings in Leeds, with 25 floors each. The towers are 72 metres (236 ft) tall but are not classed as skyscrapers. They were built between 1971-2 and were refurbished in 1989.The towers were once heralded as the tallest residential buildings in Europe. Much has been done to address crime in the area and levels of crime have subsided notably over the past 10 years. When built, it was decided not to put a flat number 13 in either block as some regard 13 to be unlucky, and this was also the first time buildings of this design had been constructed. The Towers and Heights fall within the Beeston and Holbeck ward of the Leeds City Council.

Morley railway station serves the town of Morley in West Yorkshire, England. The station is on the Huddersfield Line and is currently operated by Northern. It is located approximately 5 miles (8 km) south-west of Leeds at the northern end of the 3,369-yard (3,081 m) Morley Tunnel which passes beneath the town.

The White Rose Centre is a shopping centre in the Beeston area of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It spans two floors and is near the M621 motorway. It takes its name from the White Rose of York, the traditional symbol of Yorkshire. Most shops are situated on the Ground Floor. The Upper Level mezzanine and ‘The Village’ outdoor expansion houses one of two food courts as well some retail outlets, a Cineworld 11-screen cinema, a Starbucks and an al fresco dining terrace boasting new tenants Wagamama, Prezzo, TGI Fridays and Five Guys among others. It also houses an outdoor children’s play area. Although the centre is smaller than other out-of-town shopping centres, it has attracted large retailers such as Next, JD Sports, Zara, River Island and Marks and Spencer. The centre opened on 25 March 1997 and accommodated major tenants including Sainsbury's, Marks & Spencer, Next, WHSmith, Primark, Zara, H&M, New Look, Boots and most recently Sky, with over 100 other stores and services. It contains eateries such as a McDonald's, KFC, Nando's, Starbucks, Subway, Frankie & Benny's, Chiquito, TGI Fridays, Graveleys, Five Guys, Krispy Kreme,multiple Costa Coffee's and (newly added) Wetherspoons. The centre has 4,800 free car parking spaces, security and on-site police officers. The south part of the centre was re-developed in 2005 downsizing the Sainsbury's Savacentre to a regular Sainsbury's which made space for other units. Argos was moved into Sainsbury's in 2018.The centre has a bus station at the north end of the mall connecting it to suburban areas of Leeds and to the city centre. The centre has won awards including a British Council of Shopping Centre's (BCSC) Gold Award, BCSC Purple apple, and Green apple awards.In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom, the centre suffered the loss of two of its major tenants and most popular stores. Both Debenhams and Topshop closed all stores worldwide and went into administration. The centre also lost a Disney Store, Thorntons and a Thomas Cook travel store.

Morley and Rothwell was a parliamentary constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elected one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election.

Morley and Outwood is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2015 by Andrea Jenkyns of the Conservative Party.Further to the completion of the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, the seat will be subject to boundary changes, losing the City of Wakefield wards incorporating the district of Outwood and gaining the City of Leeds ward of Farnley and Wortley. As a consequence, it will be renamed Leeds South West and Morley, to be first contested at the next general election.

Morley is a market town and a civil parish within the City of Leeds metropolitan borough, in West Yorkshire, England. Morley is the largest town in the borough after Leeds itself. Morley forms part of the Heavy Woollen District. It lies approximately 5 miles (8 km) south-west of Leeds city centre. It was built on seven hills: Scatcherd Hill, Dawson Hill, Daisy Hill, Chapel Hill, Hunger Hill, Troy Hill and Banks Hill. In 2011, the town and civil parish had populations of 44,440 and 27,738 respectively.The town is split between the Morley North and Morley South wards (containing the town centre) of Leeds City Council, both making up the western half of the Morley and Outwood parliamentary constituency.
