Lake Massabesic

Auburn is a town in Rockingham County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 5,946 at the 2020 census, up from 4,953 at the 2010 census.

Little Massabesic Brook and Sucker Brook form a 1.9-mile-long (3.1 km) stream located in southern New Hampshire in the United States. They are tributaries of Massabesic Lake, part of the Merrimack River and Gulf of Maine watersheds. Despite the streams' short length, they are subject to the New Hampshire Comprehensive Shoreland Protection Act, because of their fourth-order stream status (indicating a high number of upstream tributary sets).Little Massabesic Brook begins at the outlet of Little Massabesic Lake in Auburn, New Hampshire, and flows west to Clark Pond Brook. At this juncture, the stream changes name to Sucker Brook and flows south, past the village proper of Auburn, and enters Massabesic Lake.

Mine Hill is a hill in Rockingham County, New Hampshire. Its summit has an elevation greater than 580 feet (177 m) above sea level, making it one of the two highest points in the town of Auburn. (The other is Mount Miner, which has an elevation of 582 feet (177 m).)

Trinity High School is a private, Catholic, coeducational high school located in Manchester, New Hampshire. It is operated by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Manchester. As of 2010, 445 students attended Trinity High School. Every member of the class of 2010 was accepted into college. It was the fourth year in a row this has occurred.

Elliot Hospital is an acute care hospital in Manchester, New Hampshire, United States. The Elliot was established as a charitable trust in 1880, was legally incorporated as a not-for-profit organization by an act of the New Hampshire Legislature in 1881, and opened its doors as the first community general hospital in New Hampshire on April 17, 1890. Today the hospital has 296 beds and is a regional trauma center (American College of Surgeons Level II) for the city and the surrounding region. The Elliot has the only Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) in southern New Hampshire.The Elliot at River's Edge opened in 2010, providing urgent care, an ambulatory surgery center and various clinics and physicians' offices, located on Queen City Avenue in Manchester. Elliot has major ambulatory care centers in Londonderry, Bedford and Hooksett, with numerous offices throughout Manchester and the surrounding communities, including in Goffstown, Hooksett, Bedford, Suncook, Raymond, Amherst and Windham.Elliot Health System includes the Elliot Medical Group, the Visiting Nurse Association of Manchester and Southern New Hampshire, the Mary and John Elliot Foundation, Elliot 1-Day Surgery Center, the Elliot Regional Cancer Center, and the Elliot Senior Center.Elliot Health System, which includes Elliot Hospital, is located in northern New England. Manchester is located in southern New Hampshire, 20 miles (32 km) from the Massachusetts border and 58 miles (93 km) from Boston. In 2018, Elliot joined with Southern New Hampshire Health System based in Nashua, New Hampshire, in a combination relationship, creating a new regional health system known as SolutioNHealth.

The Weston Observatory is a historic folly on Oak Hill, the high point of Derryfield Park in Manchester, New Hampshire. Built in 1897, the granite tower is a prominent local landmark, given to the city by James A. Weston, a Manchester native who served twice as governor of New Hampshire. The tower was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

The Manchester School of Technology (MST) is a school located at 100 Gerald Connors Circle, in Manchester, New Hampshire, United States. A part of the Manchester School District, the school is focused on applied applications of programs of study, rather than the theoretical or abstract. The teachers for the programs are all experts in their fields, having worked in the field and bringing their own job experience to their classes. Even the classrooms themselves are designed to function in a manner similar to their real world counterparts. Currently it is its own high school. Until the establishment of the dedicated high school in 2012 it only had part-time 11th and 12th grade students who primarily attended other schools.

The Kimball Brothers Shoe Factory is a historic factory building at 335 Cypress Street in Manchester, New Hampshire. The four-story brick building was built in stages between 1885 and 1900, and was a prototypical structure from which the design of other period shoe factories in Manchester were built. Construction was overseen by Head & Dowst, a builder responsible for a number of area public buildings, including schools and prisons. It was funded by local businessmen seeking to diversify the local economy, and was leased to the Kimball Brothers, a leading shoe manufacturer in Lynn, Massachusetts. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Manchester Memorial High School is a four-year comprehensive school in Manchester, New Hampshire, with an enrollment of approximately 1,600. It is a part of the Manchester School District. The school's Latin motto is "scientia est potentia." Manchester Memorial accepts students from Manchester.

The Smyth Tower is a folly located on the grounds of the Manchester VA Medical Center at 718 Smyth Road in Manchester, New Hampshire. The fieldstone tower was built in 1888 by Frederick Smyth, and is the only surviving architectural structure related to his life. Smyth served as Governor of New Hampshire in 1865-67, and was an active promoter of veterans' issues in the post-Civil War period. The tower was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

South Hooksett is a census-designated place (CDP) within the town of Hooksett in Merrimack County, New Hampshire, United States. The population was 5,888 at the 2020 census. It is a suburban area adjacent to the city of Manchester, New Hampshire's largest city, and includes a mix of housing developments and large retail stores.
