The Durier Hut (French: Refuge Durier) is a mountain hut in the Mont Blanc massif of the Alps. It is located in Haute-Savoie department of France on the French/Italian border at an altitude of 3358 m. : 21 : 218 : 276 

The Aiguille de Tré-la-Tête is a mountain in the south of the Mont Blanc massif. Its highest point, the central southeast pinnacle, is 3,930 metres (12,894 ft) above sea level and is located in Italy. Only the northwest pinnacle is situated on the border with France. It forms a chain with the Dômes de Miage. It comprises four summits: l'aiguille Nord or Tête Blanche (3,892 m); north top l'aiguille centrale Nord-Ouest (3,846 m); central northwest top l'aiguille centrale Sud-Est (highest point, 3,930 m); central southeast top l'aiguille orientale (3,895 m); east top. The western slope of the mountain is part of the Contamines-Montjoie Nature Reserve

The Aiguille de Bionnassay (elevation 4,052 metres (13,294 ft)) is a mountain in the Mont Blanc massif of the Alps in France and Italy. It has been described as "one of the most attractive satellite peaks of Mont Blanc", and is located on its western side.: 51  The mountain's south and east ridges form the frontier between the two countries, and its summit is a knife-edge crest of snow and ice. Reaching it via any route provides a "splendid and serious snow and ice climb".: 51 

The Gonella Hut (French: Refuge Francesco Gonella; Italian: Rifugio Francesco Gonella and sometimes called Rifugio del Dôme; or Refuge du Dôme) is a high elevation mountain hut in the Aosta Valley in the Mont Blanc massif area of the Alps. It lies at an elevation of 3071 metres, above Val Veny near Courmayeur in Italy. The refuge is located on the Italian 'normal route' to Mont Blanc.

The Miage Glacier (French: Glacier du Miage; Italian: Ghiacciaio del Miage) is a debris-covered glacier in the upper Aosta Valley, in northwestern Italy.

Nid d'Aigle (French: Eagle's Nest) is the terminus of the Tramway du Mont Blanc (TMB) from Saint-Gervais-les-Bains on the slopes of the Mont Blanc. This station welcomes mountaineers as well as hikers at 2,362 m altitude below the glacier of Bionnassay. During the winter months the tram only stops at the lower Bellevue station, because of the avalanche risks. A trip by tram from Le Fayet to this terminus lasts about three quarters of an hour and the panorama is remarkable. Here starts the modern normal route on the French side to the summit of Mont Blanc via the Refuge de Tête Rousse and Goûter Refuge. The tramway terminus is also the finish location of the mountain run Montée du Nid d’Aigle, yearly in the month of July since 1986. The first building of the station dated from 1933 and was destroyed by a fire in 2002.

The Tête Rousse Hut (French: Refuge de Tête Rousse) is a mountain hut in the Mont Blanc massif in the French Alps. It is located beside the Tête Rousse Glacier at an elevation of 3,167 m. Owned by the Club Alpin Francais (CAF), it is normally reached after an approximately two hour climb from Nid d'Aigle, the highest stop on the Mont Blanc Tramway. It is commonly used by mountaineers attempting to climb the 'normal route' on the French side (Goûter Route) to the summit of Mont Blanc. Staying here, rather than continuing to the higher Goûter Hut adds an extra 2–3 hours to the ascent of Mont Blanc, but is less cramped than the latter and also avoids having to climb the dangerous 'Grand Couloir' later in the day when the risk of injury from stonefall is at its greatest. The mountain refuge was completely refurbished in 2003 and can accommodate 72 people in summer and 16 people in winter. Because of the popularity of the Goûter route to ascend Mont Blanc, both huts only accept reservations in advance, and also require confirmation three days before arrival. Camping at high elevation is banned on this route; however, it is permitted on the snowfield above the Tête Rousse Hut. In 2019 a base camp was built on that snowfield where it is possible to spend the night, but it is required to have a reservation there also. Camping with a private tent is completely forbidden. Accommodation at the Tête Rousse Base Camp will include 6 group tents (of the “Himalayan Base Camp” type), each sleeping 8 people, which come equipped with camp beds, including pillows and duvets.

The Quintino Sella Hut (French: Refuge Quintino Sella) is a very remote bivouac hut in the Mont Blanc massif of the Alps in Aosta Valley, Italy. Built in 1885, it is perched on rocks on the south-western flank of the Rocher du Mont Blanc at an altitude of 3,396 m. It is owned by the CAI and can accommodate up to sixteen people with bunk and blankets provided, but no stove or warden.

The Tête Rousse Glacier (French: Glacier de Tête Rousse) is a small but significant glacier located in the Mont Blanc massif within the French Alps whose collapse in 1892 killed 200 people in the town of Saint-Gervais-les-Bains.

Aiguille du Goûter (3,863 m) is a mountain in the Mont Blanc massif of Haute-Savoie, France.

The Goûter Hut (French: Refuge du Goûter), is a mountain refuge in the French department of Haute-Savoie. It is located at a height of 3,835 metres (12,582 ft) on the Arete du Goûter in the municipality of Saint-Gervais-les-Bains. It overlooks the Glacier de Bionnassay, and is the highest wardened mountain hut in France.It is an important staging post for many mountaineers on the most popular means of climbing to the summit of Mont Blanc, known as the Goûter Route. It is the least difficult technically and therefore the one that concentrates at least an estimated 75% of the climbs. Each year, thousands of climbers attempt to summit on this route, sleeping overnight at the refuge and departing in the early morning for the final push. The building in its present state can accommodate up to 120 visitors.The hut has been rebuilt and expanded a number of times over the last 150 years as its popularity as a mountaineering base has increased. There have been numerous deaths and injuries sustained by climbers on its access route.

The Dôme du Goûter (4,304 m) is a mountain in the Mont Blanc massif. It is a shoulder of Mont Blanc, whose summit lies two kilometres to the south-east. The Dôme is traversed on ascents of Mont Blanc via the Bosses route. The summit of the Dôme is marked as lying entirely within France on the French Institut Géographique National (IGN) map [1], although on Italian Istituto Geografico Militare (IGM) map [2] the summit appears to lie on the frontier between France and Italy. In June 2015, Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi expressed repeated claims on the territory. The Swiss National Map, which covers the massif at 1:50'000 scale, shows both disputed areas around Mont Blanc and Dôme du Goûter in a neutral way, after previously following the French interpretation of the border until 2018.
