Tsurumi Line

Umi-Shibaura Station (海芝浦駅, Umi-shibaura-eki) is a railway station on the Tsurumi Line in Tsurumi-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East). The station is located on the grounds of Toshiba's Keihin Product Operations, and the only exit from the station is into the company's grounds. As a result, only Toshiba employees with valid employee ID cards and invited visitors are permitted to enter and exit the station.

Wild Blue Yokohama

Wild Blue Yokohama was a large indoor pool complex located in Tsurumi-ku, Yokohama, Japan. The facility was operated by NKK Corp., a major Japanese steelmaker, and opened in June 1992 on unused land owned by NKK. It closed on 31 August 2001 due to falling visitor numbers. The complex contained an artificial rubber beach, decorated in a tropical theme, featuring artificially generated waves, heat lamps, and tanning booths.

Ogishima Solar Power Plant

The Ogishima Solar Power Plant (扇島太陽光発電所) is a 13 MW solar photovoltaic power station located on the waterfront in Kawasaki. It is the second, and the largest solar plant built by Tepco, and was completed on December 19, 2011. In the first year of operation, it produced 15,059 MWh, a capacity factor of 0.13, which was about 10% greater than anticipated. An unusual feature of the plant is that the panels are mounted at a fixed angle of 10°, instead of the 30°, which would normally be considered optimal for this latitude.
