Holsworthy Association Football Club is a football club based in Holsworthy, Devon, England. They play in the South West Peninsula League Premier Division East.

Holsworthy was a railway station in Devon, England, on the now-closed railway line from Okehampton to Bude. It opened in 1879 to serve the market town of Holsworthy and closed in 1966, a victim of the Beeching Axe.

Holsworthy Community College is a co-educational secondary school located in Holsworthy in the English county of Devon.Previously a community school administered by Devon County Council, Holsworthy Community College became a foundation school on 31 August 2012 as part of a federation with Okehampton College. In January 2018 the school converted to academy status and is now sponsored by the Dartmoor Multi Academy Trust. Holsworthy Community College offers GCSEs, BTECs and Cambridge Nationals as programmes of study for pupils. The school was awarded specialist Technology College status on 1 September 2006 which funded a science and technology extension to the building.

Holsworthy is a market town and civil parish in the Torridge district of Devon, England, some 36 miles (58 km) west of Exeter. The River Deer, a tributary of the River Tamar, forms the western boundary of the parish, which includes the village of Brandis Corner. According to the 2011 census the population of Holsworthy was 2,641; it was estimated at 3,287 in 2019.

Its western border follows the River Tamar which forms the county boundary with Cornwall. In 2001 its population was 689, up from 429 in 1901.

Clawton is a village and civil parish in the far west of Devon, England. It forms part of the local government district of Torridge. The village lies about three miles south of the town of Holsworthy on the A388 road. The parish is surrounded clockwise from the north-west by the parishes of Pyworthy, Holsworthy Hamlets, Ashwater, and Tetcott. Its western border follows the River Tamar which forms the county boundary with Cornwall. In 2001 its population was 326, slightly down from 389 in 1901.The ancient parish church, dedicated to St Leonard, has some Norman features in one of its windows and it has a Norman font. Its tower and the arcades of the north and south aisles date from the 14th century and it has 15th-century arches of Polyphant stone. It was partly restored in 1873.Blagdon a former manor house, is situated nearby. Other notable buildings in the parish are ; Gunnacott, which Pevsner says has unusually rich 17th-century carpentry for north Devon; and Eastcombe, which has a sundial on its front that is dated 1737 and bears an unusual inscription.

Hollacombe is a village and small civil parish in the local government district of Torridge, Devon, England. It lies about 3 miles south east of the town of Holsworthy and is surrounded clockwise from the north by the parishes of Cookbury, Ashwater, and Holsworthy Hamlets. In 2001 its population was 59, compared to 69 in 1901.The parish church, on a hilltop site, is dedicated to Saint Petroc and dates from the 14th century though it was subjected to heavy restoration in the 1880s. Its most notable feature is the saddleback roof to the tower, which is rare in Devon.

Thuborough (alias Therborough, Theoburgh, etc.) in the parish of Sutcombe, Devon, England, is an historic estate, formerly a seat of a branch of the Prideaux family, also seated at Orcharton, Modbury; Adeston, Holbeton; Soldon, Holsworthy; Netherton, Farway; Ashburton; Nutwell, Woodbury; Ford Abbey, Thorncombe, all in Devon and at Prideaux Place, Padstow and Prideaux Castle, Luxulyan, in Cornwall. The present mansion house, comprising "Thuborough House" and "Thuborough Barton", the north-east block, is a grade II listed building.

The village is less than a ¼ mile to the west of Woodacott Cross, and they are normally regarded as the same village. Woodacott is in the civil parish of the nearby village of Thornbury. To the north of Woodacott lies the village of Milton Damerel, to the east Thornbury and Shebbear, to the south-east Cookbury, and to the west Holsworthy Beacon.

Dunsdon National Nature Reserve is a nature reserve of the Devon Wildlife Trust, near Dunsdon and about 3.5 miles (5.6 km) north-west of Holsworthy, in Devon, England. The habitat is culm grassland.

Sutcombe is a village and civil parish in the local government district of Torridge, Devon, England. The parish, which lies about 5.5 miles north of the town of Holsworthy, is surrounded clockwise from the north by the parishes of West Putford, Abbots Bickington, Milton Damerel, Holsworthy Hamlets and Bradworthy. In 2001 its population was 299, compared to 351 in 1901.
