Sickla Köpkvarter

Sicklasjön (Swedish: "Lake of Sickla") is a lake in eastern central Stockholm, Sweden. It is bordering the municipalities of Stockholm and Nacka and is named for the vicinity to the urban district Sickla. Sicklasjön, historically known as Långsjön ("Long Lake"), is connected to Järlasjön east of it through a narrow strait and to Hammarby Sjö west of it through the canal Sickla Kanal and the sluice Sickla Sluss. The lake, forming the northern border of the Nacka Open-air Area (Nacka friluftsområde, colloquially known as Nackareservatet, "Nacka [Nature] Reserve"), is considered as of significant recreational and natural value. Water flow is periodically important but inconsiderable during summers when the lake remains relatively stratified.

Svindersvik is a well-preserved 18th century country residence in Nacka Municipality, Sweden. Svindersvik lies just outside the city limits of Stockholm. It was built in the 1740s for Claes Grill, and today belongs to the Nordic Museum. It is open to the public through guided tours.

Stockholm County Museum (Swedish: Stockholms läns museum) is the regional museum of Stockholm County, Sweden. The museum's head office is currently located at Flemingsberg in Huddinge Municipality. Previously, the museum was located at Sickla. The museum serves the inhabitants in the county, especially those living in districts without a local museum. It documents both pre-historical and historical structures in the county and promotes people to visit historical locations by arranging "cultural paths" binding these sites together. To invite people to learn about the history of the county, the museum has put a large amount of texts and historical images on-line.It also offers information on how to preserve old buildings and promotes the use of traditional materials when restoring historical structures.The museum attempts to put focus on the modern history of Stockholm, including its suburbs The area covered by the museum encompasses large parts of the Mälaren Valley and the Stockholm Archipelago, an area with more than 700 runestones, and many royal mansions, palaces, as well as many well-preserved homesteads and farmyards giving the landscape its characteristic.

Finntorp is a housing area in the municipality of Nacka, east of Stockholm, Sweden. Modern Finntorp was built from the 1940s.

Aira, stylised as AIRA, is a fine dining restaurant in Stockholm, Sweden. Co-owned by chef Tommy Myllymäki and the Swedish restaurant group Svenska Brasserier, it opened on 17 March 2020. It has since received two Michelin stars.

Sickla kanalbro (Swedish: "Sickla Canal Bridge") is a bridge in central Stockholm, Sweden. Stretching over Sickla kanal ("Canal of Sickla"), it connects Södra Hammarbyhamnen to Nacka. The name Sickla is believed to be derived from a 15th-century provincial word, sik, meaning "minor marsh".A product of post-WW2 traffic loads, the bridge was built 1954-1955 as a continuous steel girder bridge resting on four supports and carrying a concrete roadway. 60 metres long and 10,3 metres wide, the bridge passes over three spans with a maximum span of 23 metres and an average horizontal clearance over the canal of 4,6 metres. The supports are built on a foundation of concrete poles, while the abutments are resting directly on the bedrock. The bridge was originally built with a future widening in mind, something which had to wait until 1979 when a 2,6 metres wide cantilevering pathway was added on the south side of the roadway.

Markuskyrkan (St. Mark's Church) is a church in the district of Björkhagen in southern Stockholm, Sweden. It belongs to Skarpnäck Parish in the Church of Sweden and is part of the Diocese of Stockholm. The church was designed by the architect Sigurd Lewerentz and constructed between 1958 and 1963. Since 1990 the church has been a designated cultural monument by the Swedish National Heritage Board. The church building is located within a birch grove on former lakebed, a condition that influenced the low and horizontally oriented design. Its construction makes extensive use of brick, timber, and visible technical installations.

Kvarnholmen is a peninsula east of Stockholm, Sweden. It used to only be connected in the south-west, but a permanent bridge now connects it in the south-east to the rest of Nacka, a municipality of greater Stockholm.

Björkhagen (The Birch Pasture) is a district (Swedish: stadsdel) in Skarpnäck borough, Stockholm, Sweden. Björkhagen has 5,695 inhabitants as of December 31, 2007.The Stockholm metro station Björkhagen is an elevated station which is served by the green line 17.

Björkhagen metro station is on the green line of the Stockholm metro, located in Björkhagen, Söderort. The station was inaugurated on 18 November 1958 as a part of the extension from Hammarbyhöjden to Bagarmossen. The distance to Slussen is 4.8 km (3.0 mi).

Prins Eugens Waldemarsudde (Swedish for Cape Waldemar), is a museum located on Djurgården in central Stockholm. The name is composed of Waldemar, an Old German noble male name, and udde, meaning cape. It is derived from a historical name of the island Djurgården, Valmundsö (see History of Djurgården.)

Manillaskolan ('Manilla School'), before 1879 Allmänna institutet för döva och blinda å Manilla ('Public Institute for the Deaf and Blind at Manila'), is a Swedish state school for blind, deaf and hard of hearing children, founded by Pär Aron Borg in 1809. Until the autumn term 2013, the school was located at Djurgårdsvägen on Södra Djurgården in Stockholm. The school is now located in the former premises of the Stockholm Institute of Education in Konradsberg on Kungsholmen. Manillaskolan is a state special education school run by the National Agency for Special Needs Education and Schools (Specialpedagogiska skolmyndigheten, SPSM). The school has been located on Kungsholmen in Stockholm since 2013 and should not be confused with the school Campus Manilla run by the foundation Carpe Scientia, which took over Manilla School's old premises on Djurgården in 2013.
