Finntorp is a housing area in the municipality of Nacka, east of Stockholm, Sweden. Modern Finntorp was built from the 1940s.

Sickla Köpkvarter is a retail park and shopping district located on a redeveloped industrial estate in Nacka, Sweden. It's wholly owned by Atrium Ljungberg — a real estate company headquartered in the area — and consists of several shopping malls in varying sizes, in addition to office buildings with shops at street level and a civic center housing a museum, art gallery, library and multiplex. In 2013, the shopping center had 2,600 parking spaces, a total of 168 stores with a combined retail floor area of 78,700 m2 (847,000 sq ft) and annual turnover of SEK 3 billion. The biggest stores are ICA, Elgiganten, Willys and Best of Brands, accounting for nearly a quarter of the annual rent payments. It's one of the biggest shopping centers in Stockholm in terms of sales.

Sicklasjön (Swedish: "Lake of Sickla") is a lake in eastern central Stockholm, Sweden. It is bordering the municipalities of Stockholm and Nacka and is named for the vicinity to the urban district Sickla. Sicklasjön, historically known as Långsjön ("Long Lake"), is connected to Järlasjön east of it through a narrow strait and to Hammarby Sjö west of it through the canal Sickla Kanal and the sluice Sickla Sluss. The lake, forming the northern border of the Nacka Open-air Area (Nacka friluftsområde, colloquially known as Nackareservatet, "Nacka [Nature] Reserve"), is considered as of significant recreational and natural value. Water flow is periodically important but inconsiderable during summers when the lake remains relatively stratified.

Stockholm County Museum (Swedish: Stockholms läns museum) is the regional museum of Stockholm County, Sweden. The museum's head office is currently located at Flemingsberg in Huddinge Municipality. Previously, the museum was located at Sickla. The museum serves the inhabitants in the county, especially those living in districts without a local museum. It documents both pre-historical and historical structures in the county and promotes people to visit historical locations by arranging "cultural paths" binding these sites together. To invite people to learn about the history of the county, the museum has put a large amount of texts and historical images on-line.It also offers information on how to preserve old buildings and promotes the use of traditional materials when restoring historical structures.The museum attempts to put focus on the modern history of Stockholm, including its suburbs The area covered by the museum encompasses large parts of the Mälaren Valley and the Stockholm Archipelago, an area with more than 700 runestones, and many royal mansions, palaces, as well as many well-preserved homesteads and farmyards giving the landscape its characteristic.

Kvarnholmen is a peninsula east of Stockholm, Sweden. It used to only be connected in the south-west, but a permanent bridge now connects it in the south-east to the rest of Nacka, a municipality of greater Stockholm.

Manillaskolan ('Manilla School'), before 1879 Allmänna institutet för döva och blinda å Manilla ('Public Institute for the Deaf and Blind at Manila'), is a Swedish state school for blind, deaf and hard of hearing children, founded by Pär Aron Borg in 1809. Until the autumn term 2013, the school was located at Djurgårdsvägen on Södra Djurgården in Stockholm. The school is now located in the former premises of the Stockholm Institute of Education in Konradsberg on Kungsholmen. Manillaskolan is a state special education school run by the National Agency for Special Needs Education and Schools (Specialpedagogiska skolmyndigheten, SPSM). The school has been located on Kungsholmen in Stockholm since 2013 and should not be confused with the school Campus Manilla run by the foundation Carpe Scientia, which took over Manilla School's old premises on Djurgården in 2013.

Djurgårdsbrunnsbron (Swedish: "The Djurgården Well Bridge") is a bridge in central Stockholm, Sweden, connecting northern and southern Djurgården. It is the city's only remaining swing bridge, the default bridge type in Stockholm during the 19th century. It has been closed since 1966. The bridge, 6,5 metres wide, is made of two 20,8 metres long girders forming the railings between which the roadway is passing. When open, it allowed a passage 10 metres wide.Due to land elevation and silt, the original waterway extending the canal Djurgårdsbrunnskanalen to Saltsjön had to be reconstructed 1832–34, and a wooden bridge crossing the canal was added. In order to allow smaller ships to pass, the canal was widened and deepened 1883–85, and the bridge replaced by the present steel swing bridge inaugurated in 1884.The name Djurgårdsbrunn is referring to a mineral spring discovered in 1690 but abandoned in the mid 18th century for another mineral spring believed to have once served as an offer spring. An establishment built here saw its heyday in the 1820s and 1830s, and a restaurant is still found next to the now permanently shut bridge.

Prins Eugens Waldemarsudde (Swedish for Cape Waldemar), is a museum located on Djurgården in central Stockholm. The name is composed of Waldemar, an Old German noble male name, and udde, meaning cape. It is derived from a historical name of the island Djurgården, Valmundsö (see History of Djurgården.)

Djurgården (pronounced [ˈjʉ̌ː(r)ɡɔɳ] or [ˈjʉ̂ːrˌɡoːɖɛn] (listen)) or, more officially, Kungliga Djurgården (Swedish for 'The [Royal] Game Park'), is an island in central Stockholm, Sweden. Djurgården is home to historical buildings and monuments, museums, galleries, the amusement park Gröna Lund, the open-air museum Skansen, the small residential area Djurgårdsstaden, yacht harbours, and extensive stretches of forest and meadows. It is one of the Stockholmers' favorite recreation areas and tourist destinations alike, attracting over 10 million visitors per year, of which some 5 million come to visit the museums and amusement park. The island belongs to the National City park founded in 1995. Since the 15th century the Swedish monarch has owned or held the right of disposition of Royal Djurgården. Today, this right is exercised by the Royal Djurgården Administration which is a part of the Royal Court of Sweden. A larger area of the city, separated from Djurgården proper by Djurgårdsbrunnsviken is Norra Djurgården (Northern Djurgården), including Gärdet.

Djurgårdsbrunnskanalen (Swedish: "The Djurgården Well Canal") is a canal in central Stockholm, Sweden, separating the island Djurgården from the northern mainland (or more correctly Southern and Northern Djurgården). The canal stretches one kilometre (0.6 mi) from Lilla Värtan to Djurgårdsbrunnsviken and allows ships 9.5 metres (31 ft) wide and 2.1 metres (6 ft 11 in) deep to pass. Two bridges pass over the canal: Djurgårdsbrunnsbron and Lilla Sjötullsbron. The decision to build the canal was made by King Charles XIV in 1825. The canal was completed in 1834. It was built to make it easier for smaller ships with supplies to reach the center of Stockholm, but also for aesthetic reasons because Djurgården is a royal park.

Sickla kanalbro (Swedish: "Sickla Canal Bridge") is a bridge in central Stockholm, Sweden. Stretching over Sickla kanal ("Canal of Sickla"), it connects Södra Hammarbyhamnen to Nacka. The name Sickla is believed to be derived from a 15th-century provincial word, sik, meaning "minor marsh".A product of post-WW2 traffic loads, the bridge was built 1954-1955 as a continuous steel girder bridge resting on four supports and carrying a concrete roadway. 60 metres long and 10,3 metres wide, the bridge passes over three spans with a maximum span of 23 metres and an average horizontal clearance over the canal of 4,6 metres. The supports are built on a foundation of concrete poles, while the abutments are resting directly on the bedrock. The bridge was originally built with a future widening in mind, something which had to wait until 1979 when a 2,6 metres wide cantilevering pathway was added on the south side of the roadway.

Isbladskärret is a small lake on Djurgården, an island in central Stockholm, Sweden. The lake is much appreciated among bird-watchers, and, being part of the Royal National City Park, also carefully monitored by several organizations, including the World Wide Fund for Nature. The lake is one of six in Djurgården (including Northern Djurgården, north of the island), the others being Lillsjön, Uggleviken, Spegeldammen, Lappkärret, and Laduviken.
