Givat Haviva

Givat Haviva International School (Hebrew: בית הספר הבינלאומי גבעת חביבה), commonly shortened to GHIS, is a co-educational boarding school in Northern Israel. The school follows the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) for 11th and 12th grade students, and offers a pre-IB preparatory year for 10th graders. GHIS seeks to transform the Middle East and beyond by "developing a network of global leaders who will work together to achieve a shared society and a sustainable, just future". The school is located on the campus of Givat Haviva, a peace-building organization that has received the UNESCO Peace Prize.

Sha'ar Menashe (Hebrew: שַׁעַר מְנַשֶּׁה, lit. 'Menashe Gate') is a psychiatric medical centre in northern Israel. Located near Pardes Hanna-Karkur with an area of 740 dunams, it falls under the jurisdiction of Menashe Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 511. It is the location of Sha'ar Menashe psychiatric hospital.

The Menashe Regional Council (Hebrew: מועצה אזורית מנשה, Mo'atza Azorit Menasheh) is a regional council near the city of Hadera, on Israel's north-central coastal plain in the southern Haifa District. It is named after the tribe of Menashe which had been allotted this region (and a much larger territory around) according to the Book of Joshua (17:1-10).

Camp 1391 or Unit 1391 or Facility 1391 is an Israel Defense Forces prison camp in northern Israel for "high-risk" prisoners. It is run by Unit 504. The existence of the prison was unknown to the public before 2003, and most information about it remains classified, though Israel's supreme court ordered the release of some information about the jail.

Ma'anit (Hebrew: מַעֲנִית) is a kibbutz in northern Israel. Located just south of the town of Pardes Hanna-Karkur, it falls under the jurisdiction of Menashe Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 874.

Ein Shemer is a kibbutz in northern Israel. Located in the Shomron region to the south of Route 65, about 6 km northeast of Hadera, it falls under the jurisdiction of Menashe Regional Council. In 2021, it had a population of 635.

Barkai (Hebrew: בַּרְקַאי, lit. 'morning star') is an Israeli kibbutz in the Menashe Regional Council on the western side of Wadi Ara. In 2021, it had a population of 546.

Wadi Ara (Arabic: وادي عارة) was a Palestinian village located 38.5 km south of the city of Haifa. It is named after the nearby stream that is known in Arabic as Wadi 'Ara. The village was particularly small with a population of 230 and a land area of approximately 9,800 dunums.

Harish (Hebrew: חָרִישׁ, cha-reesh, lit. "ploughed furrow") is a city in the Haifa District of Israel. Its jurisdiction is an area of 9,736 dunams. It is currently being expanded into a city projected to eventually have a population of 100,000. In 2021 it had a population of 27,006.

'En Esur, also En Esur (Hebrew: עין אֵסוּר; [ʕen ʔesuʁ] eh-N eh-s-oor) or Ein Asawir (Arabic: عين الأساور, lit. 'Spring of the Bracelets'), is an ancient site located on the northern Sharon Plain, at the entrance of the Wadi Ara pass leading from the Coastal Plain further inland. The site includes an archaeological mound (tell), called Tel Esur or Tell el-Asawir, another unnamed mound, and two springs, one of which gives the site its name. A 7,000-year-old Early Chalcolithic large village already showing signs of incipient urbanisation and with an open space used for cultic activities was discovered at the site below later, Bronze Age remains.During the Early Bronze Age, around 3000 BCE, a massive fortified proto-city with an estimated population of 5,000 to 6,000 inhabitants existed there. It was the largest city in the region, larger than other significant sites such as Megiddo and Jericho, but smaller than more distant ones in Egypt and Mesopotamia. The city was discovered in 1977, but its massive extent was realized only in 1993. A major excavation between 2017 and 2019 ahead of the construction of a highway interchange exposed the city's houses, streets and public structures, as well as countless artifacts including pottery, figurines and tools. Archaeologists announced its discovery in 2019, calling it the "New York of the Early Bronze Age".

Gan HaShomron (Hebrew: גַּן הַשֹּׁמְרוֹן, גן השומרון) is a moshav in central Israel. Located north-east of Hadera, on the road to Afula, Highway 65, it falls under the jurisdiction of Menashe Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 840.

Meiser (Arabic: ميسر; Hebrew: מֵיסִר, also known as Shaykh Maysar or Khirbat Maysar) is an Arab village in northern Israel. Located half a kilometre west of the Green Line, north of the city of Baqa al-Gharbiyye in the triangle area of Wadi Ara, it is one of three Arab villages under the jurisdiction of Menashe Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 2,084.
