Military Intelligence and Security Service (Swedish: Militära underrättelse- och säkerhetstjänsten, MUST) is a division of the Swedish Armed Forces Central Command. MUST is both a foreign intelligence and a military security/counterintelligence agency. In its intelligence role, MUST is responsible for providing intelligence on foreign threats to the Government of Sweden and the Swedish Armed Forces. However, signals intelligence is handled by a separate civilian agency operated by the Ministry of Defence, the Swedish National Defence Radio Establishment (FRA), which is not part of MUST. MUST is legally prohibited from gathering intelligence on Swedish domestic affairs, except in its more narrowly defined role a counter-intelligence agency tasked with identifying threats to the armed forces, such as sabotage, espionage, or infiltration. Domestic security and civilian counterintelligence in a non-military setting are handled by the Swedish Security Service (SÄPO), a civilian agency unaffiliated to MUST.

Östermalms IP is a sports ground located in the Östermalm district of Stockholm, Sweden. Completed in 1906, the facility played host to several sports during the 1912 Summer Olympics. These sports included equestrian, fencing (including the part for the modern pentathlon), and tennis. It also hosted the exhibition for baseball at those same games. Current tenants are the bandy department of Djurgårdens IF, the youth program of the said club's football department and several lower league teams. The athletic grounds also hosts a speed skating rink during winter. The ice hockey rink was completed for the 1926–1927 season.

The Svea Artillery Regiment (Swedish: Svea artilleriregemente), designation A 1, was a Swedish Army artillery regiment that traced its origins back to the 17th century. It was disbanded in 1997. The regiment's soldiers were originally recruited from Svealand, and it was also garrisoned there.

Fältrittklubben (more specifically Stockholms fältrittklubb) or the Stockholm Cross Country Riding Club is an equestrian club located in Stockholm, Sweden, established in 1886 by Prince Carl, Duke of Västergötland. During the 1912 Summer Olympics, it hosted the endurance trials for the equestrian eventing competition.

The Royal College of Music, Stockholm (Swedish: Kungliga Musikhögskolan i Stockholm) is the oldest institution of higher education in music in Sweden, founded in 1771 as the conservatory of the Royal Swedish Academy of Music. The institution was made independent of the Academy in 1971, and is now a public authority directly under the Ministry of Education and Research. Vice-Chancellor from June 2019 is Helena Wessman, former general manager of Berwaldhallen.

Stockholms Tekniska Gymnasium (Stockholm Technical Upper Secondary School) is a charter school that is located in the district of Östermalm, close to the Stadion metro station in the Swedish capital of Stockholm. The upper secondary school belongs to Thoren Innovation School (TIS) which in turn is a part of Thorengruppen. Before Thorengruppen acquired TIS in 2012, it belonged to Lernia AB. As of 21 August 2014, there are approximately 250 students that are studying in Stockholm at Thoren Innovation School. The school is situated in Löjtnantsgatan 25.

Östra Real (officially Östra Reals gymnasium) is an upper secondary school in Östermalm, Stockholm, Sweden. The school can trace its ancestry to the 1600s, and has changed name several times throughout its existence. Its current building was completed in 1910, and it has remained there ever since.

Stadion metro station is on the red line of the Stockholm metro, located near the Stockholms Stadion in the district of Östermalm, Stockholm, Sweden. The station was opened on 30 September 1973 as part of the extension from Östermalmstorg to Tekniska högskolan.

The Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences (Swedish: Gymnastik- och idrottshögskolan, GIH) in Stockholm is a Swedish institution offering higher education in the fields of teaching profession in Physical Education, Sports coaching and Preventive health. The school offers both programmes and courses. It was founded as the Royal Central Gymnastics Institute (Swedish: Kungliga Gymnastiska Centralinstitutet, GCI) in 1813 by Per Henrik Ling, which makes it the oldest university college in the world within the field of human movement sciences. .

Allmänna BB (Allmänna barnbördshuset, "General maternity hospital", literally The general childbirth house) was a maternity hospital in Stockholm, Sweden. The hospital was inaugurated on February 20, 1775, on Riddarholmen. In 1785 the hospital moved to Östermalm and in 1795 changed its name to Allmänna barnbördshuset. In 1885 the hospital moved to Kungsholmen, but as the facilities became inadequate the hospital moved once again to use the former barracks used to house the athletes during the 1912 Summer Olympic Games. The new facilities were first used on January 5, 1913. Due to a decline in childbirths Allmänna BB was closed shortly after celebrating its 200th anniversary. The former facilities are presently used by the Royal Institute of Technology.

Stockholm Olympic Stadium (Swedish: Stockholms Olympiastadion), most often called Stockholms stadion or (especially locally) simply Stadion, is a stadium in Stockholm, Sweden. Designed by architect Torben Grut, it was opened in 1912, its original use was as a venue for the 1912 Olympic Games. At the 1912 Games, it hosted the athletics, some of the equestrian, some of the football, gymnastics, the running part of the modern pentathlon, tug of war, and wrestling events. It has a capacity of 13,145–14,500 depending on usage and a capacity of nearly 33,000 for concerts.

Östermalm is a borough (stadsdelsområde) in central Stockholm,Sweden. It is named after the dominating district. Except Östermalm (proper) there are four districts in the borough: Djurgården, Hjorthagen, Ladugårdsgärdet (popularly known as Gärdet), and Norra Djurgården. Note that a portion of northern Östermalm is organized in Norrmalm borough. The population as of 2014 is 70,779 on an area of 18.00 km², which gives a density of 3,932.17/km².
