Sea Island (British Columbia)

Sea Island Centre is an at-grade station on the Canada Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. The station is located on Sea Island in Richmond, British Columbia. The Vancouver International Airport Authority contributed up to $300 million toward the airport branch of the Canada Line, which includes Sea Island Centre. This station, along with Templeton, was built at-grade to allow for the future construction of an elevated aircraft taxiway over the Canada Line guideway.

YVR–Airport is an elevated station on the Canada Line of Metro Vancouver's SkyTrain rapid transit system. The station is located at Vancouver International Airport's main terminal in Richmond, British Columbia, and is one of the outbound termini of the Canada Line, the other being Richmond–Brighouse. The Vancouver International Airport Authority contributed up to $300 million toward the airport branch of the Canada Line, which includes YVR–Airport. Like Richmond–Brighouse station, YVR–Airport only has a single track.

Vancouver International Water Airport (TC LID: CAM9) is located adjacent to Vancouver International Airport in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. It is classified as an airport and as an airport of entry by Nav Canada and is staffed by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). CBSA officers at this airport can handle general aviation aircraft only, with no more than 15 passengers.The aerodrome has two docks, located at 4760 Inglis Drive, one operated by Harbour Air and the other by Seair Seaplanes. Floatplanes can be fairly easily transferred to Vancouver International Airport via a ramp and gate.

Vancouver International Airport is one of eight Canadian airports that have US Border Pre-clearance facilities. It is also one of the few major international airports to have a terminal for scheduled floatplanes. The airport has won several notable international best airport awards. It won the Skytrax Best North American Airport award in 2007 and 2010 through 2022, for a record of 12 consecutive years. The airport also made the top 10 list of airports in the world for the first time in 2012, rated at 9th (2012), 8th (2013), and 9th (2014) overall. It is the only North American airport included in the top 10 for 2013 and 2014. The Vancouver International Airport Authority contributed up to $300 million toward the airport branch of the Canada Line, which includes Templeton. This station, along with Sea Island Centre, was built at-grade to allow for the future construction of an elevated aircraft taxiway over the Canada Line guideway.

Burkeville, British Columbia is a village located beside Russ Baker Way on Sea Island in Richmond, British Columbia. It was constructed in 1943 by the federal government of Canada. The street names have an aeronautical theme, many of which bear the names of airplane manufacturers. It also served to provide housing for workers employed at a plant operated by Boeing and was named after its then-president, Stanley Burke. After the war, many of the homes were sold to returning veterans. The entire village featured almost one bungalow homestyle. The village has since been annexed by the city of Richmond and is the only residential area on Sea Island, which otherwise is dominated by Vancouver International Airport. The village was the hometown of aviation pioneer Dan McIvor.

Deering Island is a small island in Vancouver, British Columbia, located in the North Arm of the Fraser River. It is mostly residential and is connected to the rest of Vancouver by the Deering Island Bridge. Residential development on the island, mainly consisting of luxury homes, began in 1988 and continued into the 1990s. The island was previously a shipyard owned by B.C. Packers. The island is also home to a city park, Deering Island Park.

Kerrisdale is a neighbourhood in the city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Kerrisdale is a neighbourhood located in Vancouver's west side. It features a mix of newer houses and older bungalows as well as various low and mid-rise rental and condo apartment buildings in its northern section. The neighbourhood is a racial mix of European and East Asian Canadians. It features a shopping district running generally along West 41st Avenue between Larch and Maple Streets and West Boulevard between 37th and 49th Avenues. Although the city officially defines Kerrisdale as being south of 41st Ave (north of 41st is called Arbutus Ridge), the majority of the area's residents consider the area's boundaries to be West 33rd Avenue to the north, Granville Street to the east, West 57th Avenue to the south, and Blenheim Street to the west. The northern part of Marpole is also generally thought of as part of Kerrisdale, thus some refer to the area as Kerrisdale-Marpole. The southwestern part of Kerrisdale is known as Southlands, due to its location in relation to the city. Southlands is known for its horse stables and rural feel and is located on the floodplain of the North Arm of the Fraser River.

The No. 2 Road Bridge is a crossing over the middle arm of the Fraser River, and River Rd., in Metro Vancouver.

McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Vancouver Airport (commonly known as McArthurGlen Vancouver) is an outlet mall on Sea Island in Richmond, British Columbia. It is located in close proximity to Vancouver International Airport. It currently has around 80 retailers over 340,000 square feet.

Airport station was a TransLink public transit exchange on Sea Island, Richmond, in Metro Vancouver. Most bus operations using the location ceased September 7, 2009, two and a half weeks after the opening of the Canada Line, when the exchange downgraded to a regular bus stop.
