George S. Erath Field at Coy O. Williard Baseball Stadium is a baseball venue in High Point, North Carolina, United States. It is home to the High Point Panthers baseball team of the NCAA Division I Big South Conference. It has a capacity of 550 spectators.Originally known simply as George S. Erath Field, the venue was renamed George S. Erath Field at Coy O. Williard Baseball Stadium in 2007, following the construction of a seating structure with 501 chairback seats, a press box, concessions, and restrooms. In 2009, a FieldTurf halo was added around home plate, and the warning track was renovated. In 2010, the right center field fence was lowered to allow for better spectator sightlines. Additionally, an irrigation system and scoreboard have been added since 2001, and the infield has been renovated.The venue hosted the 2012 Big South Conference baseball tournament, won by Coastal Carolina.In 2012, college baseball writer Eric Sorenson ranked the facility the fourth best small venue in Division I baseball.

High Point University (HPU) is a private university in High Point, North Carolina. It is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. The university was founded as High Point College in 1924, and it became High Point University in October 1991. HPU offers 63 undergraduate majors, 65 undergraduate minors, and 18 graduate majors.

The James H. and Jesse E. Millis Athletic and Convocation Center is a 1750-seat multi-purpose athletic and academic facility on the campus of High Point University (HPU) in High Point, North Carolina. The basis of the building is Alumni Hall, which was built in 1957. In 1992, the facility was added upon, creating the office space, classrooms and pool on the western side of the facility, as well as adding a state-of-the-art press box. In recent years the massive expansion of HPU has not left Millis unnoticed. A "jumbotron," an LED-powered scorers table and a four-sided scoreboard were added in the last couple years. On October 24, 2007 (prior to the 2007-08 basketball season) two more "jumbotrons" were installed. Much of the previous strain for space in the Millis Center has been alleviated by the recent opening of the Jerry and Kitty Steele Center.Millis Center has hosted several notable events, such as President George W. Bush's televised 2002 speech, HPU Presidential Scholarship Weekend events, HPU men's and women's basketball games, HPU volleyball matches, and other ancillary HPU events. In January 2017, High Point University announced that the men's and women's basketball programs would be moving to a new arena near the corner of University Parkway and Lexington Avenue, just north of Vert Stadium, with a planned completion date of October 2020. However, due to construction delays brought on by COVID-19, the university announced in August 2020 that the new arena would not open until the 2021–22 school year.

T. Wingate Andrews High School is a public magnet high school in High Point, North Carolina and part of the Western region of the Guilford County school district. Andrews has been designated to receive additional support, resources, and incentives as a federal Title I school.T. Wingate Andrews High School was opened in 1968 with Samuel E. Burford as its first principal. This school was built specifically to follow the federal mandate to integrate the races in the United States, and Burford's selection was notable as he was African American. Students were drawn from the black high school, former William Penn High School (now Penn-Griffin School for the Arts) and from the white high school, High Point Central High School. It was named after Thomas Wingate Andrews (1882–1937), who served as superintendent of High Point schools.The current principal is Marcus Gause, formerly the principal of the Early College at NC A&T, a non-traditional public high school in Greensboro, North Carolina. Gause took the position beginning in the 2017–2018 school year.

Wesleyan Christian Academy is a private Christian school located in High Point, North Carolina, across from the former Oak Hollow Mall complex. Wesleyan Christian Academy is accredited by AdvancED and the Association of Christian Schools International.

John Wesley University was a private interdenominational Christian college in High Point, North Carolina. In 2018, the university merged into Piedmont International University in Winston-Salem.

Oak Hollow Mall was a regional shopping mall which had over 80 working stores. At the time of its closing in 2017, occupancy was down to 11 stores. Most of the former mall building is owned by High Point University. Oak Hollow Mall was located in High Point, North Carolina, United States at the intersection of Eastchester Drive and East Hartley Drive.

Sherrod Park is a national historic district located at High Point, Guilford County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 73 contributing buildings and 1 contributing site in a residential section of High point developed between 1926 and 1941. They include notable examples of Tudor Revival, Colonial Revival, and Bungalow / American Craftsman style architecture.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.

William Penn High School, also known as High Point Normal & Industrial Institute, is a historic high school for African-American students located at High Point, Guilford County, North Carolina. The high school building was built in 1910–1911, and enlarged and renovated in 1929–1930. It is a two-story, 12 classroom Colonial Revival style brick building. It has a projecting three-bay entrance pavilion. Two other buildings associated with the High Point Normal & Industrial Institute are on the property. The Institute was established by Quakers in 1891. They were built about 1910 and are a gable end frame structure sheathed in corrugated metal with a distinctive monitor roof and a brick building with a low pitched roof. The school closed in 1968 and was re-opened in 2003 as an arts magnet high school, Penn-Griffin School for the Arts.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

First Baptist Church was a historic African-American Baptist church located in High Point, Guilford County, North Carolina. The Late Gothic Revival style brick church was built in 1907. It was significantly remodeled, enlarged, and a new facade added in the early-1950s. The church was slated for demolition in September 2013 and was demolished in September 2015.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2009.

Kilby Hotel is a historic hotel building located at High Point, Guilford County, North Carolina. It was built in 1910, and is a three-story, brick building with shops on its first story. It has a shallow bracketed canopy, fine brickwork, and arched windows. The hotel was one of High Point's most important black owned businesses and served predominantly African-American patrons.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. In 2012, the structure was deemed unsafe, and it was demolished in 2014 after two of its walls collapsed in a storm.
