The Hogan Archive of New Orleans Music and New Orleans Jazz is an academic repository located at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. The archive specializes in Dixieland Jazz, gospel, blues, rhythm and blues, Creole songs, and related musical genres. Its collection includes oral histories, audio and video recordings, photos and other images, sheet music, personal papers, and teaching aids.Originally named the Archive of New Orleans Jazz and later renamed the William Ransom Hogan Jazz Archive, it is often simply referred to as the Hogan Jazz Archive. As of 2001, the archive was the world's largest jazz archive, with oral histories of more than 500 musicians of the genre.

Howard-Tilton Memorial Library is the university library on the uptown campus of Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. A member of the Association of Research Libraries, the Howard-Tilton Memorial Library is ranked among the top 120 research libraries in North America and is a significant educational and cultural resource in the community. During Hurricane Katrina, the Library suffered extensive damage to its collections and its buildings.

Newcomb Art Museum of Tulane University is an art museum located in the Woldenberg Art Center on the campus of Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. It has been historically known for its significant collection of Newcomb Pottery and other crafts produced at Newcomb College, as well as administering the art collections of the university. Since 2014, the institution has increasingly focused on exhibitions and programs that explore socially engaged art, civic dialogue, and community transformation.

Avron B. Fogelman Arena in Devlin Fieldhouse is a 4,100-seat, multi-purpose arena built in 1933 on Tulane University's Uptown campus in New Orleans, Louisiana. Since its opening, it has been home to the Tulane Green Wave men's and women's basketball teams and the women's volleyball team. Devlin is the 9th-oldest continuously active basketball venue in the nation. Devlin Fieldhouse is known for its halftime shootarounds with former greats Jack Pontin, Christian Marks, Karl Hoefer, Chris Chimento, Will Hillery, and Hunt Conroy.

The Tulane University School of Science and Engineering (SSE) was established in the fall of 2005 as part of the Tulane Renewal Plan, when the Faculty of the Liberal Arts and Sciences and the School of Engineering were reorganized into two schools, the School of Science and Engineering and the School of Liberal Arts. Engineering at Tulane University dates back to 1894 when the university organized the College of Technology, which later became the School of Engineering.

Loyola Field House was an indoor arena in New Orleans, Louisiana. It hosted the ABA's New Orleans Buccaneers for two seasons (1967–68 and 1968–69), and the NBA's New Orleans Jazz (1974–1975). It was also the home venue for Loyola Wolf Pack basketball. The arena held 6,500 people.

The University Sports Complex or The Den is a 500-seat multi-purpose arena in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States, on the campus of Loyola University New Orleans. It was formerly called the Recreational Sports Complex or Rec Plex.

The Huey P. Long Mansion in New Orleans, Louisiana was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.The 1920s Mediterranean Revival house is at 14 Audubon Boulevard, a short distance back from Willow Street and the Tulane University campus. It was formerly owned by Louisiana Governor Huey P. Long, although Long only occasionally resided here. The house is still privately owned. It is a pink stuccoed house built of concrete blocks. According to its NRHP nomination, its architecture "borrows from several Mediterranean styles without being heavily in debt to any of them":The crested broken pediments in the foyer, the scrolled brincaded entrance arch, and the red tile roof are attributable to the Spanish churrigueresque style. The groups of round arches set on Persian columns are attributable to the Byzantine style. The hooded classical style mantels in the front rooms are attributable to the Italian Renaissance. There are also bottle glass windows and heavily cut and paneled doors. The rear sunroom has a marble floor and arches which lead to the balustraded patio.: 1  It was designed by architects Weil, Benson and Bendernagel, a firm asserted to be one of New Orleans' leading architectural firms of the 20th century, .

Audubon Place is a privately gated street in New Orleans, adjacent to Tulane University, and across St. Charles Avenue from Audubon Park. It was developed starting in the 1890s as an exclusive luxury development where only homes above a certain size and price could be constructed. As of 2009, Audubon Place homes typically cost around US $5 million. A guardhouse sits at the entrance to the street, with entrance restricted to those on a pre-approved list. Following the 2005 Hurricane Katrina-related levee breach, Blackwater security personnel were helicoptered to Audubon Place to protect property; flood waters did not inundate the street, because the street is above sea level. Audubon Place is immediately across from Audubon Park. The street lies within the 70118 ZIP code. Among recent residents of Audubon Place was Tom Benson, who owned the city's NFL and NBA teams, the Saints and Pelicans, when he died in 2018. The president of Tulane University lives on the street in a mansion donated to the university by Sam Zemurray, one-time head of United Fruit, predecessor to today's Chiquita.Audubon Place is not to be confused with Audubon Street or Audubon Boulevard, both of which are also in the neighborhood surrounding Tulane University and Audubon Park. All of the streets are named after John James Audubon, naturalist and long-time New Orleans resident.

The 14th Ward or Fourteenth Ward is a section of the city of New Orleans, Louisiana, one of the 17 Wards of New Orleans. The Ward was formed in 1870 from part of Jefferson City and the town of Greenville, which were annexed by New Orleans.
